From the looks of it things are about to get nasty Razorjaw thought, seeing the Giga prepare to end the battle, and wondering how long he'd have to wait before he could finally have something to eat. He'd been waiting for what,to him, seemed like an eternity

The large Rex hissed in irritance, blood dripping from his jaws. Even when at the point of death, he refused to give up. The pain was unbearable, and he knew that most liekly, he would die... unless...

The bull Rex kicked out with his hind legs, hoping to tear into the belly of the Giga and get him off his skull. If he could land a deadly kick, then perhaps...

The two Acros, ignoring the fighting, simply kept eating, pulling off large shunks of meat before swallowing them whole...

Behind the bushes was the source of the commotion. A large female Dilophosaurus, about 23 feet long, was busy tearing into a dead Lystrosaurus. Her skin dark green in color and jaws red with blood, this Dilophosaurus was slightly larger than her kind tended to be. she lifted her head up, poisonous saliva dripping from her jaws. She scanned the area for a brief second, before once again digging into her kill. Her kind tended to be far mor ecommon down south, as were her prey, but this individual had set up her territory here in the more tropical portion of the island. As she ripped out a large chunk of meat from the dead mammal-like reptile, she was unaware of approaching danger...

Two large footsteps thump beside the female dilophosaurus, a giant shadow looming over her shoulder, Ba'al glaring down at the dilophosaur. He eyes not only the puny creature's kill, but also the creature itself. The tarbosaur lets out a low growl, his maw readying for the kill...

"Adults playing like hatchlings," Xanthe rumbled, amused. "there's something you don't see too often. He must have had a good heart and sense of humor." As he spoke Cirrus gave a huge heave, finally succeeding in getting out from under Blade and giving the younger male's shoulder a headbutt, as if acknowledging that he had won that round.

The Giga watched as the Rex kicked feebly, it's legs almost completely behind it, not having even the slightest hope of reaching him, Rook's sigh being drawn out, almost disappointed. it's mind had obviously gone past the point of no return, no longer comprehending the limitations of it's own body. bringing down the full 10 tons of the predator's weight upon the Rex's skull, crushing it. as his gaze passed over to the kill, eyeing the other predators collected around it. he would not force them away...provided they gave him a share of the massive meal. afterall, there was no way they could eat it themselves...

"He did. Of all the three leaders that had lead a pack I was part of till that point, he by far outclassed the others. brave. kind. caring for his packmates. and not afraid to let the whole 'barrier' between leader and follower fall. he treated his packmates like siblings rather than subordinates. he was a father figure to the younger ones, and a brother to the older ones" growled Aurora, her tone almost absent, as if her mind was somewhere else. Blade meanwhile watched Cirrus, smirking triumphantly...

The two allosaurs simply let out quick bellows at the giga, before continuing to eat the Barosaur's neck and head....

While the Giga had been crushing the rex's skull Razorjaw had seen it as safe to move in and eat from the kill, giving the other predators some space,as long as no one bothered anyone this would be a feast for them all to enjoy.Razorjaw continued to eat, giving a quick glance at the Giga before returning to eat

"I wish I'd gotten the chance to meet such a leader," Xanthe murmured. Clearly something had happened to him, the way Aurora spoke of him in past tense. But he wouldn't pry if she wasn't ready to reveal everything about herself and her mate. Cirrus cocked and bobbed his head in a challenging way, as if saying 'I'll get you next time'.

The pair of Acrocanthosaurus looked up, before resuming their feast. There was plenty of meat available on the belly-side of the Barosaurus, which was where the best eating was. Both acros were already near full, so they would be leaving rather soon... For now, they would ignore the newcomers... besides, a kill this large would draw in predators from miles around...

Meanwhile, at the edge of the forest, Blackside and Monozu had been watching the fight while eating what meat they had dragged with them. By now, Blackside had finished off her slab of meat, while Monozu was finishing up the young Iguanotont. this had been quite a fun day for both of them, and it wasn't even late in the day yet...

The female Dilophosaurus whirled around, spotting the Tarbosaurus. She began to howl in distress, while backing up, when she stopped, sensing something else, something just as dangerous. Alarm bells went off in her head, and she bolted, just as a pair of large jaws missed their mark. As the Dilophosaurus fled, from the shadows emerged a large Rugops. At 34 feet long, puny, clawless hands, and a wrinkled-like face, it was a very odd-looking predator. The Rugops glared at Ba-al, letting out a scratchy, almost sickly roar, It had been waiting in the shadows, about to punce, when Ba-al had appeared and frightened it's prey... now, it would take out it's anger on Ba-al...

Ba'al grumbles as the dilophosaurus runs away. Oh well. He then turns to the Rugops, letting out a bellow in response to its roar, the deep roar reverberating in the Rugops' chest. Ba'al soon lunges at the Rugops, jaws agape....

The Rugops hissed as he shifted his weight to one side, the body of the carnivore leaning away from Ba'al as he charged right past him, the Rugops then reshifted his weight right toward Ba'al, hip-checking the Tarbo off his feet. Moving rapidly, the Rugops swerved, ready to sink his teeth into Ba'al's throat...

Meanwhile, the female Dilophosaurus kept running, moving through the forest as fast as she could...

Down by the river, the familiar shape of a Mosasaur moved just beneath the surface. Moa was on the search for food, with her infant swimmnig right beside her...

In the coral reefs offshore, Bias had struck gold. He had found a sea turtle that had drowned near the beach, and now, the Deinosuchus was busy ripping it apart, unaware of the plastic around the turtle's neck...

Ba'al's much larger size prevents him from falling over, but he indeed loses his balance and stumbles uncontrollably for a few moments, before using his momentum to swat the Rugops head with his tail, eventually regaining his balance.

The Rugops shook its head, before refocusing back on the Tarbosaur. the ugly-lookin predator charged once more, this time aiming for Ba'al's throat...

As the male Deinosuchus finished devouring the turtle, he began to swim off toward the river. Unbenownst to him, the plastic that was on the turtle's neck had managed to somehow get caught on his mouth, binding it shut...

With a vicious snarl, Ba'al maneuvers to the beast's left side before slamming into it with ferocious power, shoving it aside and threatening to send it sprawling onto the floor....

Eradicus stopped for a moment, before continuing on just past the treeline into a massive clearing, full of creatures...

"Anything that could last us a few days," the carchar responded, still picking out the best of the herd. It consisted of hadrosaurs for the most part, but a few other creatures roamed in it as well...

Eradicus nodded and went back into the trees, before circling around to get closer to the herd. He had spotted out a large, wounded hadrosaur to attack, and got as close as possible to the group while staying within the trees to attack. When he got close, he charged in, roaring, easily scaring off almost the entire herd. The injured male attempted to retreat, but fell quickly thanks to the leg wound and the last thing he had saw was his herd abandoning him...

Gothmog watched his surroundings intently, and, upon feeling comfortable, lies down and watches his partner kill his lunch....
