Hiero simply grabbed one of them and carefully ate what appeared to be the food in the foil. He would have prefered trying to grill Raptor meat but the likelyness that is was good for you even cooked was slim in his mind.

After about 20 minutes, Barnes clapped his hands loudly to get everyone's attention. "Alright, kids, time for bed! Jenkins, lead us to the living quarters. You all are getting a few hours of shuteye, so you better take advantage of it! I want everyone ready to go before sunup, understood?"

"Whyat if something comes while we sleep?" Maxwell asks as he finishes up his food. "Do you not think we would need a sentry?"

"So long as the rooms we sleep in have locks in them, we should be alright... " Persephone said as she pushed her long-sinced finished MRE aside. Finally! She could get some much-needed sleep. The woman blinked, the bags under her eyes very noticable...

"I don't know," Maxwell says in a paranoid manner, "Those ******** seem pretty strong."

"Eh, I could stay up for the night, act as a sentry. Any of those ******** come close I'll shout for y'all and shoot," Riley responded with slight fear in his voice. He disregarded that anyways and got up...

"The only immediate concern is those Velociraptors," Jenkins added. "Besides, I highly doubt they'll come back after--" Barnes cut him off. "Regardless of your theories, doctor, Max has a point. I'll be keeping watch. The rest of you need your sleep more than me anyway." He had no idea about the stamina and endurance of his new "men," and wasn't willing to take any chances...

Riley looked at Barnes and nodded, before slinging his rifle over his shoulder. He carried his bag with him by one of the straps...

Maxwell nods to Barnes. "Alright, we'll know when you need help, but if you feel the need, give us a holler." Maxwell soon lies down and tries to relax....

Barnes nudged Max with his boot. "Not here Max. Doctor, lead the way to the living quarters. We can rest there." Jenkins gave a lazy, mock salute, which Barnes simply brushed off, and the scientist walked out of the cafeteria, bidding the mercs to follow...

"Mmph." Maxwell gets up and follows the scientist. As much as he wanted to get some shuteye, the fear of being eaten while he slept made it hard for him to calm down...

Riley followed behind Max, yawning as they followed Jenkins. He'd probably be up all night if he couldn't brush off the feeling of being eaten while sleeping...

Suppressing a yawn, Persephone got up and followed Jenkins. She needed all the sleep she could get after today... Today had been a tiring one for her, and that, combined with her general laziness, was causing her body to scream to shut down for some rest...

Maxwell grumbled slightly. He just wanted to rest now. Hopefully, the velociraptors weren't nocturnal... but, knowing their luck so far, they probably were, or something just as bad was nocturnal.

"I hate this goddamn island..." Maxwell growled under his breath.

The walk to the living quarters was short and uneventful, though that didn't keep Barnes from having his head on a swivel. If anything, they were at significant disadvantage at night, even in a lit building like this. As soon as Jenkins opened the door leading into the not-so-spacious living quarters, Barnes quickly herded everyone inside. "Check your corners before you hit the hay. I don't want you people sleeping next to a nest of... somethings if I can help it."

"Hell, I can sleep on the floor I'm so tired," Max grumbles. Either way, he glances in the corner of one bed to make sure it's safe and soon lies down on it. It was hard as a rock, and yeah, he could sleep on the floor, but he'd prefer not to.

Riley quickly began looking around, checking a ton of stuff for any signs of nests. He hadn't found nothing yet, so he continued to look on...

Hiero aware of this opens his Satchel to retrieve a small flashlight to help illuminate any dark corners before taking a bunk in a corner in the room away from the others.

Maxwell soon falls asleep, exhausted from the events of the day. His mind fluttered about, rememberign his home back in America, and reminicing on his past when he lived in italy....

Persephone took a look around, before she moved to an unoccupied bed. She checked it real quickly to make certain there weren't any nesting archosaurs in it, before she slipped into the bed. It was hard, yes, but there really wasn't much she could do about it... After all, more likely than not, tommorow would be a big day... As she thought, her eyes closed up, and she was asleep. Now nothing could wake her up, aside from her internal alarm clock...
