Gira, that's the point of having disguises. They don't let people know who they really are. I think it should be a new phenomina for the sake of entertainment, but we shouldn't limit the mutants' origins to recent RPG time.

And G4E things are subject to change.

If heroes and villains where around for a while then they wouldn't really be unique, they wouldn't be a strange occurrence, as Doc said "Super heroes flying around should be a "WOW" thing, not a "oh look another mutant"" Again it takes freedom to restrict people on things like there origin ect. But I do think Doc has a point that mutants and super heroes shouldn't be a regular occurrence, and not something people are entirely aware about, which they would be if they were around for years on end.

not necessarily. The supers could have simply not used their powers for a long time, and those that were spotted could have simply been mistaken for some demi-god. Even so, most people probably denied their existence because they never saw it themselves (case and point: the gorilla).

There's a difference between being around for years and being a common occurence. If someone wants to make something that is more then just a fresh super hero, they should, but they can't say it was making itself known because society still doesn't know heroes/villains exist.

There's a way to make it a WOW occurence AND preserve the players' freedom.

TT's right. Mutants have been around sinc ethe beginning, yet they are very, very rare. Infact, sometimes, hundreds of years could pass with no mutants, yet in one generation, you may have an entire onslaught of mutants (the middle ages, perhaps, with Witches that were hunted actually being mutants with superpowers, or like where SHRPG is currently...). Mutants in the past would have been labled as demons, witches, demi-gods, or whatever. It's only in the modern era that mutants have been labled as such, and even then, they'd be in hiding so as to not draw too much attention to themselves...

Anyways, it seems as if the choices might have been narrowed down to Los Diamentes or Radiant City... personally, I perfer the latter over the former... though I still want Graystone city... which will never happen...

Everyone agreeing on a name is gonig to be rather hard. Instead, I'll put the two names in a cup, then randomly draw out a winner! Hence, a fair system!... unless, there are any more suggestions for names one wants to do...

Radiant City isn't bad...but IMO it seems a bit...cliche. too simple. too plain. that's exactly what I hoped to avoid with Los Diamantes.

I borrowed the name concept from Los Angeles. LA. City of Angels. Los Diamantes. LD. City of Diamonds. plus, LDPD has a nice ring to it

I'm kind of mixed between the two now. LDPD does have a nice ring to it, and hey, if a bank's robbed, whos going to call the RCDP? I just how we can come to some sort of agreement, I don't know Radiant in spanish but it could be like Los (Fill in spanish translation for Radiant).

Personally I like the idea of Los something. Radiant City is very plain. Radiant in spanish is radiante, oh those original Spaniards.
