"I can only hope that armor is comfortable to be in..." Galaak remarked as he watched the buildings gradually decrease in size in the distance.

Kevin stepped out of a store, deciding to take the suited man's advise about getting some water. He twisted the cap off of a skinny bottle and proceeded to down at least half of the bottle in one go. While he felt marginally better, he still couldn't shake the feeling that he was lost in a different dimension. All too quickly his life changed, and he was filled with anxiety about his future...

"For my species, yes," Kala replied. He chuckled. "Of course, if you're curious, don't bother. You'd have to dislocate several limbs just to get inside..."

"Which is precisely why you won't need to worry about me stealing it" Galaak responded with a low chuckle...

"How fast are we going, exactly, anyway?" Kala asked, slightly nervous, slightly interested. "I feel like there's a limit to how fast a cruiser this size should move, in-atmosphere, over a population center..."

If Galaak had any less self control, he would have burst out into laughter. "Speed limit on a cruiser, Kala? You needn't worry. At this altitude, the only impact the natives will feel of E-doch's passing is a slight wind" The Ascatian assured his companion. As well as being unseen and unheard, the ship was extremely maneuverable, able to strafe and turn on a dime while still moving in one direction. The combination allowed the explorer to skillfully navigate the human made towers, passing by countless offices with the workers being none the wiser.

"Just... don't crash, okay?" Kala muttered. "I've had my fair share of ship crashes for one day..."

"I may be a relatively new addition to the ranks of my fellow Ascatian explorers, but I am no amateur. The only way this ship will ever crash is if I am ever careless enough to get intoxicated at the command, attacked by overwhelming fire power, or...collide with an asteroid or something" The explorer replied, obviously confident in his abilities as a pilot. And with good cause too, for he had been flying this craft for years now, the archive of the vessel being a literal record of the many trips he had made through the heavens.

"Oh good, overwhelming firepower," Kala stated sarcastically. "Because Zakai certainly won't have that waiting for us..."

"Assuming all of his weapons can even hit their mark, not to mention the shields can take a lot of damage before being depleted. However, a full scale ship-to-ship battle is something I am not looking forward to for the sake of this planet. The potential for collateral damage is astronomical. A more indirect method is needed. Perhaps infiltration and sabotage. Considering they did the same to you, I think its fitting, no?" Galaak responded, again starting to formulate the course of action the two should take...

"If they're not guarding the ship," Kala growled. "My kind are notoriously difficult to sneak past. Our emotion-detecting tendrils, plus the suits, make it very difficult for any lifeform to slip past us without us being aware of it..."

"Lifeforms?" Galaak asked, the corners of his mouth curling into a smirk. "Then we shall use droids" He said, already contemplating the needs of a robot that could not only act as a scout, but could carry out the mission itself should the situation call for it.

"I was thinking something a little... stealthier than that," Kala muttered. "Droids aren't exactly the best choice. Sure, you'll fool the Cephian, but not the suit he's wearing..."

"A cloaking device would take care of that easily" Said Galaak, going down a mental checklist of sorts regarding the necessities of the operation.

"How well-armed is this droid, exactly?" Kala asked, curious. "Cephian suits and tech are tough to breach."

Galaak fell quiet for the moment, focusing his attention on that matter. "If things go well, it won't need to fight them. All that matters is that it can somehow disable a few key systems...flight...weaponry. Perhaps it can get a virus onto their ship's mainframe? For good measure, explosives could be planted to ensure damage, if not outright elimination of key components" He proposed soon after his moment of thought

"And if things DON'T go well?" Kala pressed. "I've spent long enough in the military to know a risky mission when I see one. Nothing ever 'goes well,' as you put it..."

"...Self destruct. The droid will deliver its payload to the nearest attacker. Before explosion it would release an electromagnetic bombardment that should short out any personal shielding devices the hunters have, ensuring the blast will cripple or kill. If we're extremely lucky, we might be able to take down at least two if the operation goes down that route" Galaak replied, the cruiser now passing over a suburb, the marshlands just beyond it...

"Let's hope so..." Kala muttered, saying nothing more as the marshlands came into view...

It wasn't long before the cruiser passed over the willowy tree tops of the marsh, descending into a clearing in the wetland. There was a mound of solid ground where the ship touched down, surrounded by the murky shallows of the swamp. The vegetation around the area was especially thick, bunches of long yellow grasses and bushes ere plentiful. Satisfied with the landing zone, Galaak got up from his seat and disengaged the clamps holding Kala, the arms sliding back into the floor and ceiling and being hidden away by rearranging metal. "Come now, there is work to be done..." Galaak said as started walking to the back of the cockpit, the doorway revealing itself when he was a few feet away from the wall. His weapons were plucked from his seat by a clamp, taken into the ship itself...

Kala uncloaked and took a moment to flex his metal limbs, making sure the joints didn't lock up by some strange coincidence. He followed after Galaak, utterly confused by the ship's layout and relying on the Ascatian to lead...
