Galaak took advantage of the momentary seize of the machines, firing yet another electrical bolt into one which then branched off from it and into the two others, once again overwhelming them. With the amount of power surging through their forms, short circuit was a very real possibility...

"Two that we could see. Some of the others said they saw a third, or at least part of it." the cop replied back, before turning around. "Have the EMTs arrived yet?" he called, one of the other cops working the radio from one of the patrol cars shaking their head. "ETA is 5 minutes." she explained...

As some of the Troopers settled to the ground, momentarily disabled, more drop pods began to open all around the hangar, releasing more Troopers into the fray. Zakai couldn't help but laugh as he focused on chasing Kala like a rat through the bay. This was too easy...

Galaak looked at the splitting pods with a mix of irritation and disbelief. "This is getting ridiculous..." he grumbled. He placed his gun on his back before he pounced on one of the downed troopers, Zerelion in hand. He stabbed the long blade into the robot, slicing through its armor with ease. Twisting the staff around, Galaak severed its internal workings until he finally heard the familiar beeping the critically damaged machine made. Swiftly, the Ascatian pulled his blade out, put the staff on his back and grabbed onto one of the drone's legs. He wrenched it from the ground as he spun in place, swinging the droid around and around and then letting it go, flinging it into the midst of several troopers where it exploded violently...

"Saving lives. Riight" said Atlas with an amused smirk as he grabbed his drink, downing the last of it as he prepared to head for the stairs down to the entrance, where the valet would be waiting with his car...

Lydia flicked a lock of hair out of her face with a well-practiced toss of her head. "I do work at a hospital," she said archly, her words contradicted by the somewhat dark smirk and the gleam in her eyes. She fished in her pocket, pulling out her keys and twirling them around her finger for a moment as she started to walk to the exit. "It's been interesting," she said, tossing the words over her shoulder.

Kala's voice crackled over Galaak's com: "Galaak. Get. His. Attention. Now." Several Troopers were scattered from the blast, but that only gave others enough time to fire on Galaak with their MOARs, trying to flash-freeze him from a distance...

"Indeed it has," remarked Atlas as he watched Lydia leave. "And this is only the beginning" he added quietly as he descended the stairs, heading for his car, soon starting the vehicle up and leaving the club, heading home...

Aya nodded, unsure of what else to say. Soon, Aya pulled out the stone that was covering the poor victim's face. He had stopped screaming in pain, but he wasn't moving either. Concerned, Aya began to uncover the rest of his body as fast as possible, fearing the worst...

Galaak's thoughts raced. In seconds after Kala spoke, the Ascatian was already taking advantage of his circumstances. Seeing the troopers prepare their freezing spray, Galaak positioned himself in front of the Pinger. There he stood until the last possible second, diving out of the way of the shots, making use of his thermal sensors. The frigid blasts collided with the war machine as its pilot was preoccupied...

The spherical droid came to a door and right beside it was an exposed panel, displaying information in Cephian text and numerals. A plate on the droid's left arm popped up and slid back, revealing an all purpose electronic port. A thin metal stem extended out from the port, supporting a cable that synced up with the computer. E-doch began translating the interface...

The freeze blasts were too small to do much more than put icy patches on the Pinger's legs, if they hit them at all. However, it did serve to get Zakai's attention, the walker's head pivoting suddenly and firing an explosive pulse blast like that of the Devastator Suit's, only much, much more powerful, at Galaak...

Once home, Lydia flopped on her couch, feeling oddly like a sponge that's been wrung dry. She was that drained. She raised a hand and rubbed at her eyes tiredly. How is it, she wondered, that things can change so quickly? But it was done now...she might as well shower and then get to bed. She needed to get up earlier than usual, after all, if she was going to pick Sam up. Even as she got up and made to get her nightwear, a tiny voice in the back of her mind kept asking her if the whole thing wasn't a big mistake. And to that question, she had no answer.

Galaak rolled onto his feet with great agility and sprinted off from the site, feeling the resulting explosion traveling through the floor of the hanger. The Ascatian threw himself behind a crate, blocking himself from Zakai and the troopers. "That's going to leave a dent. I hear there's a good repair depot...several stars away" Galaak remarked before darting out from behind the crate, taking cover behind another, trying to keep the Cephian's attention...

The third thug member flailed around for a bit, before he managed to get back onto his feet. This one was taller than his two pals, and had darker skin than either, but that wasn't what caught Dr. Craven's attention. Rather, it was the pair of large, red, leathery wings that extended out of his back, and the long, boney tail swishing behind him that ended with a sharp blade. He estimated that the tai was roughly 4 or 5 feet in length, and it was probably tougher than it looked. The guy's arms were also rather odd, being incredibly thick and muscular. All in all, it was someone, or something, that made the scientist raise an eyebrow.

"Why did you do that, you moron? You nearly shot my wing off!" the winged thug snapped at him, rubbing his head.

Dr. Craven chuckled once more. "I knew you wouldn't be hit by that bullet, Focalor." He responded. The response took all three of the gang members by surprise, especially the mutant.

"W-w- How do you know my name?" Focalor gasped, backing up a step out of shock. As a member of the 7 Sins, his title as Wrath, but his true name was indeed Focalor. But onl yhe, and his fellow gang members should have known that...

As Zakai continued to fire on Galaak's position, Kala slunk from cover, heading for the hanging Scout ship. The tentacles were dangling just within reach, if Kala made a powerful enough jump. Crouching, he shunted some of his suit's energy into his legs, and leaped straight into the air. The force of his power jump brought him within reach of one of the tentacles, his metal claws clamping down on the tip. The Cephian quickly scuttled up the tendril, making a beeline for the ship's cockpit...

The crates and drop pods that Galaak hid behind were blown apart in his wake. He took cover behind another, peeking out to see that Kala was making his way up to the scout ship. "So that's your plan..." he thought before running off again, expecting yet another powerful blast to rock the hanger. Just then, a display window appeared on his visor. The droid had completed its mission: gaining access to the warship's main network. The droid could now activate and deactivate systems and functions. "And so, my own agenda nears its end"

Galaak took cover once again, quickly giving the droid its orders. "Reconfigure automated defensed and open the hanger bay doors"...

Kala sidled quickly into the Scout's cockpit and began the activation process, saying to Galaak, "Just a few... more... seconds..."

Before Galaak could even reply, a low mechanical hum echoed through the chamber, the walls beginning to slide apart. From the slowly appearing seam, the surface of the marsh water below was visible. "How right you are, Kala" Galaak said, stepping out from behind the barrier and swinging his arms up and over to the side, a large wave rising and crashing onto the hanger floor...

"Please tell me you know how to swim, because otherwise, you're not doing anything. Trust me," Kala growled through the com. As he said that, the Troopers simply hovered above the water as it flowed into the ship's hangar, and Zakai wasn't perturbed either. "Really? Are you trying to DROWN me? Ha! You don't know a lot about Cephians, do you?" Zakai fired another pulse blast at Galaak while he was distracted with the water manipulation...

"Have you not noticed the fins on my back, legs and arms?" Galaak said rather calmly as he dove away from the blast yet again, though drawing the water towards him so that he was enveloped within a bubble of sorts. It then reshaped in a blink of an eye, becoming tubular, Galaak hurtling through it at high speed and ending up behind Zakai in a spiraling column. Swinging a hand at the Pinger, Galaak sent a large surge into it from the side which completely over took the walker's legs and cannon, freezing over thereafter...
