"yes..." Persephone said. Or dead bodies, she added mentally. "What might be your favorite dinosaur here on this island? Surely, you would have cloned whatever was your favorite..."

"Oh, now you're just putting me on the spot!" Jenkins replied with a laugh, though his gaze didn't leave the river ahead. "Well, I suppose it might be... T. rex. A classic, if I do say so myself."

Persephone yawned, her lazy nature catching up to her. "Personally, my favorite would be Ceratosaurus. It's such a forgotten dinosaur, really. It's not large like Allosaurus, or powerful like T-rex... but it was featured in movies long before either of them..." Here she stopped to wipe something out of her eye. "Tell me, what was the island like before this project took place? I'd imagine the local wildlife didn't take very well to the world's most dangerous invasive creatures..."

"Ah yes, Ceratosaurus," Jenkins mused. "Well, you might be seeing a couple of them along this stretch of river. semi-aquatic and all that. As for the former ecosystem, unfortunately, it did not fare well. A side effect, but one we had to endure. For the most part, most of the native wildlife was migratory anyway. The new arrivals simply made them leave for safer places to live."

"That's nice..." Persephone said. "Well, that's all the questions I have to ask..." She yawned again, before rubbing her eyes...

"Well then, off you go I suppose. It's almost like a vacation, isn't it?" Jenkins said, staring out the window at the scenery...

Maxwell continued staring at the myriad numbers of dinosaurs before him. He hoped that they would get off this damned boat soon. Hopefully the Dienosuchus wouldn't attack....

Study? Jenkins thought. Not likely... But staying? We'll see soon enough... With that thought in his head, the scientist hit a switch next to the sonar screen, activating the device, which began to emit a low-frequency sound, beyond the range of human hearing, from the ship's underbelly and into the river...

Barnes watched as they sailed past the Deinosuchus with no incidents, the massive crocodilian quite content to sunbathe and get its teeth cleaned. He glanced farther ahead of their vessel and noticed a pair of shapes as they hurriedly retreated out of the water and onto shore. The dinosaurs were bipedal, and clearly predators, though not particularly large (only around 20-25 feet in length). They had noticeable horns capping their squareish snouts, spines down their backs, and flattened tails, like those of crocodiles. Their scales had a navy blue hue to them, though their heads were a garish red color. One of them let out a guttural growl over its shoulder, and the pair of carnivores retreated out onto dry land. Barnes arched a brow. Must not like the Deinosuchus either... he thought to himself...

Riley yawned and stayed away from the edge of the boat, leaning on one of the cabin walls. He occasionally raised his AK-47 and quietly said "bang!" whilst aiming at the dinosaurs...

"Careful, Riley," Max said jokingly. "We're already in a hell hole, no need to piss off the herbivores too."

"I'd shoot the monsters if I didn't know any better," Riley responded, "but they didn't kill two of our allies. The meat-loving ******** did..."

"I'll stuff a frag down their throats if they come close," the other mercINARY said, somewhat agreeing with his friend. He looked about at all of the dinosaurs, still wondering how this is even real...

Persephone was quick to get back over to where othe others were, though she stayed away from the railing by a foot. She saw the Ceratosaurs rush out the water, which brought a smile on her face. She liked Ceratosaurs, and seeing them made her... happy... Though now she was wondering why they were rushin gout of the river...

"We don't need to draw unnessisary attention to ourselves, killing herbivores will cause mayhem and draw out predators," argued Hiero, having listened to their conversation. "Besides when Sue tried to chase me up a tree I tried throwing an adhesive charge at her face, it diddn't work so well, partly because it wasn't ment for organic surfaces."

I don't, I'm fine with who I am... and you should be too" - RT3

It wasn't long before Jacob emerged from the ventilation shafts outside the building , kicking the grate off, sending it streaking several feet away before hitting the grassy ground, the man pushing out of the grate, landing in a crouch, firearm armed and ready to fire. He knew where they had gone. The island map only showed one possible direction. down the river. he spotted a streak of blood extending from the facility, alongside a footprint, belonging to what he guessed was one of the larger beasts on this godforsaken island. moving forward carefully, he made sure nothing was around, being especially careful of signs of the invisible beasts, though with the sunlight camouflage was virtually impossible. the man put three fingers in the puddle of blood, before pressing them together, sliding his gloved fingers back and forth across the viscous substance. It had only just begun to clot. It was fresh. wiping it off his fingers with a small cloth so as not to risk luring in a threat, he turned back towards the river, checking the time on his watch as he began to move onwards. time to see if there was anything of use by the facility's dock. something to take them down the river...

"What do you know, that ***** paid the others a visit" David while he scanned the foliage, following Jacob along the river side. The large three towed tracks embedded into the soil was the titanic creature's parting gift after its unwelcome appearances. There were other, smaller tracks around the area, meaning that something other than the squad had crossed the giant's path. David could only assume the blood was from that unfortunate creature...

"How I wish that blood was hers. Troublesome animal to say the least. The government would need one helluva mind control program set up to be able to avoid that thing tearing their own troops apart. or worse, get distracted from the mission objective where it's deployed" said Jacob as he headed towards the dock...
