Jenkins made sure he was as casual as possible as he watched the sonar reading next to him as he piloted the boat down the river. Any minute now, they would be running straight into some very big trouble. It was dangerous for him, but he had the advantage of knowledge. He knew what was coming; his new companions, however, didn't. Not even that fool Dodgson would be prepared. Jenkins chuckled to himself at the poetic justice he would soon visit upon his former superior...

[Godzilla Forever]

"Hey, crazy man!" Maxwell shouted from the deck. "Are we almost there?"

"You're gonna have to knock on the door, genius," Jack replied, nudging Max in the shoulder. "Can't hear you from inside the cabin..."

[Godzilla Forever]

"Hmph. Was hoping I wouldn't have to get up, but alright." The merc gets up and heads towards the cabin door, knocking loudly on it. "HEy, Jenkins! Open the damn door! I gotta question for you."

Jenkins sighed, then turned to the door and opened it, a forced smile on his face. "Yes, Max my boy? Something important on your mind, perhaps?"

[Godzilla Forever]

"Well, it's actually two. My first is, how close are we to wherever the hell we're headed. My second is..... well, where the hell are we headed again?"

"Ugh, so impatient, all of you," Jenkins sighed, rolling his eyes. "If you really must know, we're about ten minutes away from our destination, which, as the good Lieutenant said, is the island's primary military base. There, we can find ourselves a proper radio and get rescued. Unless, of course, you'd rather stay here, though I find that to be highly... improbable."

[Godzilla Forever]

"Yeah, yeah," Mxwell replied. "Sorry for bothering you." The mercenary turns and clsoes the door before growling to himself, "Fuckin' grouchy old man...."

Jenkins sighed again and turned back to his controls. "Well, at least they are curious, if a bit dim..." he muttered. "A shame, really."

Jack chuckled at the annoyed look on Max's face. "I take it that didn't go well?"

[Godzilla Forever]

"Eh, whatever," Max replies to Jack. "Even though I doubt anything'll go wrong right now.... he just doesn't rub me right. I dunno."

"Still, best we keep on our toes, you know?" Jack replied, leaning against the railing and crossing his arms. "Dangerous or not, Jenkins is definitely insane, and I don't really trust insane boat captains..."

[The Kingpin]

Walking onto the dock, Jacob glanced around to find a boat, deciding that it was time to up the pace. The fact there was no large boat here confirmed his suspicions. "They're already gone. Made a beeline up the river no doubt. Probably to another facility, and, to my best guess, a communication system....Or a trap" said the man as he walked across the dock in search for a boat, scanning the area down the barrel of his assault rifle, ready in case of an attack...

The area around the dock had no signs of any other boats, the only sign of movement being a single Ceratosaur that lazily swam down the river like a monstrous crocodile, dutifully ignoring the humans. Most likely, the dinosaur simply wasn't hungry, and was used to the presence of humans...

Maxwell sat in peace, seeing there is nothing much to do but be paranoid....

"Hey Max, when we get there, mind helpin' me find a revolver there? My little brother wanted me to get him one," Riley said to his friend, then, adding to himself, "there better be a fuckin' revolver there..."

[Godzilla Forever]

"Sure, why not," Max replies. "I'm sure there's something there for him. Might not be a revolver, but maybe another pistol of some kind."

[UndeadRaptor]

"Fifth time I'll be lettin' him down if I don't get him one. He's gonna kill me..."

[Godzilla Forever]

"Oh, I doubt that," Max says. "If anything, the ******* carnosaurs'll get ya."

[UndeadRaptor]

"Well," Riley responded, "I go down, they go down..."

[Godzilla Forever]

"No- you ain't going down," Max says. "I'll make sure of that."
