"No clue," Aircrest growled. "But is certainly works in our favor. If all keeps going well, none of Thrasher's allies will know we were ever here," he added. He couldn't have expected this plan to go any better, and that was exactly what scared him at this point, more so than Erebus. The further along a plan was, the more likely it was to fail catastrophically, but thinking about it wasn't going to help matters much at all.

"So I take it is my turn to take this Trike for a whirl, huh?" he asked the other raptors.

Berserker narrowed his eyes as he stood ahead of Thrasher. "So you're this Thrasher that Baryonyx was talking about." Berserker rumbled, stomping the ground once. "Well soon everyone will be hearing how I put the Spinosaurs back in their place." Berserker then whipped the ground with his tail, before roaring out, eager to battle.

Thrasher chuckled amusedly at the Tyrannosaur's display, growling lowly. "My my...Someone sounds confident...Clearly you have never fought a TRUE Spinosaur before....Seems I will have to...rectify that" rumbled the Spinosaur, smirking malevolently as his sail flared with renewed life, orange and black patterns glaring brightly against his otherwise fairly drab dark green and grey colours. A piercing screech tore through the sky as the Spinosaur splayed his gargantuan talons in clear view of the considerably smaller Rex. In the trees, shimmering eyes watched eagerly, a half-dozen superpredators watching to see their leader and ally demolish this overconfident Rex...

"This island rarely lets you have your way...I learned that the hard way" hissed Rake lowly. "I wish you luck...but remember...Never let your guard down. Thrasher may not admit it, but this Rex is easily the biggest threat to the Spinosaurs' reign we've ever seen....And the fact it is Spectre's son only worsens things for us" added the Irritator as he glanced across the plains, before turning around. He didn't intend to go any further...this place was too dangerous for him...

"You want to give it a shot? go ahead. Just watch your footing. One mis-step and you're done" warned Fatalis with an eerie smirk. Regardless of the outcome, it was obvious the Raptor utterly enjoyed this...

Berserker roared again, kicking up a dust cloud with his talons. The Tyrannosaur stared Thrasher square in the eye, studying him. He had to admit, Thrasher had to be the biggest Spinosaur he had ever seen, and from the looks of it, this theropod had fought and won many battles before. Still, Berserker would not back down from this fight. He never did with every challenger he faced before, and he wouldn't now. Berserker snapped his jaws in the air, before charging full speed ahead. The Tyrannosaur lowered his head and rammed Thrasher in the leg. Backing up with a snarl, Berserker then lunged at Thrasher's neck, attempting to end the fight now...

The Rex never got the chance. The moment he got within reach, Thrasher sidestepped, ramming his massive flank into the Rex with enough force to blow it completely off its feet, leaving Berserker to wrestle with his own footing to avoid falling to the ground, the gargantuan Spinosaur turning to face the Rex as he hissed threateningly, snapping his jaws loudly in a challenge to the Rex...

Berserker snarled, furious at the bodycheck, before he lunged at Thrasher, biting onto his muzzle. Pulling tightly, Berserker's teeth left several cuts on Thrasher's snout, but the Rex had been unable to get in a full grip. Berserker lunged once more at Thrasher, this time swinging his tail around, wanting to plow the limb into Thrasher's face...

By the time the Rex had recovered from his stumbling, Thrasher was ready for him. Before he could even land a bite on his snout, a massive taloned hand slammed into the Rex's face with enough force to knock the head sideways, the Spinosaur snarling dangerously...the Rex's eagerness was costing it dearly...

The Baryonyx was now watching the ongoing battle from a safe distance in the forest. It was always a pleasure seeing Thrasher destroy his competitors, and the fact that this rex had fought him and injured him made it all the more satisfying. This rex was too large for him to take on himself, but Thrasher... well, he was making quick work of him.

Berserker shook his head as he stumbled back, Thrasher's blow having left a trio of gashes over his left eye. The Tyrannosaur was shocked; this Spinosaur was quickly proving to be a more capable opponent than he thought. It didn't matter though. Those were just luck shots...

Berserker roared again, the Tyrannosaur charging forward once more, but this time squatting downwards and biting down hard on Thrasher's right leg. Clamping on with the strength he could muster, Berserker tried bringing his weight to bear on Thrasher, in hopes of making him lose his balance...

Thrasher saw the attack coming easily, his long history of fighting Rexes giving him an intimate insight in everything this one could possibly do to try and gain an advantage. As it dove forward with the intent of attacking his leg, Thrasher himself brought his own weight down on the Rex, arms digging into its neck and driving it face first into the earth before it could even reach his leg, the collective momentum and mass of the Rex driven entirely into it's skull, the force of it undoubtedly putting nearly impossible strain on the skull, threatening to smash the lower jaw with its own immense mass. Stepping sideways, Thrasher turned to face the fallen Rex, smirking with malignant delight. It was getting desperate, resorting to more and more dangerous tactics in an attempt to gain an advantage...it wouldn't be long now...

Berserker pushed himself to his feet, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. The Tyrannosaur quickly realized the true depth of the situation after that attack. Indeed, this Spinosaur had proved himself to a very capable fighter, and showed what he could do any challengers. Still, Berserker wasn't willing to back down. Not yet.

Berserker snarled, snapping his jaws as he ran around Thrasher, keeping away from his claws, before he slammed his skull into Thrasher's side. Quickly moving back, Berserker roared again, swinging his tail towards Thrasher's head...

Thrasher twisted as the Rex ran, always keeping himself diagonal to the Tyrannosaur until the moment the ram came, at which point the Spinosaur counter-rammed, body-checking the Rex and throwing him off, swinging his tail into the Rex as it stumbled away with the redirected momentum, the Spinosaur turning to face it once more, grunting at the dull ache in his muscular flank from taking on the Rex's ram directly. It was of little consequence however. There was so much muscle built over his flanks that a ram like that was all but harmless to him. At most, it would leave a relatively minor bruise...

Berserker shook his head, snarling as he glared at Thrasher, his anger sparking his bravery once more. As the Spinosaur's tail pulled away, Berserker bit down upon it, shaking his head as he dug his talons into the ground. Bracing himself, Berserker pulled, seeking to yank Thrasher to the ground...

Thrasher snarled as the Rex bit on his tail, the Spinosaur's tail thrashing violently as several cuts were torn into the flesh, the tail pulling free and clubbing across the Rex's face as compensation for its efforts, sending its head swinging away with enough force to cause whiplash, Thrasher twisting round as he snapped his jaws, interlocking fangs like spears waiting to rip the Rex apart, as his splayed talons dripped the Rex's blood in droplets feeding the wet earth. A flash of lightning ignited the sky as a boom of thunder roared over them like a massive, furious beast, Thrasher's eerie yellow eyes glinting in the light and shimmering in the darkness, his fiendish appearance only becoming more gruesome as he smirked. He would enjoy eviscerating this....'challenger'...

Berserker snarled, before bellowing outwards, uncaring of his wounds. Berserker circled Thrasher again, contemplating how to attack. This Spinosaur had already shown just how experienced he was, but Berserker had a determination that would keep him going strong. The Tyrannosaur charged forward, before suddenly maneuvering to Thrasher's right and biting onto his arm, clenching his jaws tightly as he pulled, determined to prove his worthy in this battle...

Nighteye silently watched Rake depart, before giving his packmates commands. Exchanging trills, the Troodons scattered, breaking off in pairs to track separate scents and pass the news to their fellow pack members who were not too far away. One of the Rex's scent trails would lead to this son of Spectre's eventually...

The dive was intercepted, the movement practically throwing the Rex into Thrasher's talons, , the Spinosaur burying them in its snout as the other clawed hand dug in from the other side, Thrasher smirking evilly as he gripped tightly talons inching deeper and deeper, threatening to penetrate the muscle of the Rex's skull and sink into the foramen; a move that would mangle even its sense of smell if it didn't pull away fast. "I hope you've enjoyed your ability to smell, Rex....soon....you will know nothing but the smell of blood and decay, as you ROT from the inside out" hissed the Spinosaur dangerously...

Berserker struggled, feeling Thrasher's claws digging through his flesh. He could feel his blood flowing down his face as the Spinosaur held him in his grasp. But Berserker would not give up, especially in the face of certain death.

Berserker struggled, shaking hard and thrashing around with such movement that Thrasher couldn't hold on, the Tyrannosaur pulling free, before slamming his tail full-force into Thrasher's face. Berserker stomped the ground, bellowing outwards even as his blood dripped to the ground. Even if he were to die, he would go down with a brawl.

The Rex's thrashing only worsened the injuries, leaving considerable gashes in its face, though it eventually broke free. It didn't have the time to twist for a tail-swing however, as halfway through its unwieldy turn Thrasher slashed its flank with his claws, leaving several massive gashes in its side as the Spinosaur rammed into the Rex, the blow not enough to knock it over at this range, but easily enough to make the Rex stumble away, creating come distance between the two goliaths. All the while, the Spinosaur was....laughing. Thrasher was laughing. "You FOOL! You fight against a creature infinitely your greater! Staying here will only bring you a long, slow, agonising DEATH! Run! Run and hide in the forests, outside of my territory. Forget your delusions of power and bravery, or I will end them now, along with your insignificant life!" snarled the Spinosaur as he eyed the Rex, maintaining his distance despite the immense advantage he had. There was no enemy on this island greater than complacence...and he would not let himself make that mistake. He would not give the Rex the satisfaction of another lucky shot...and if it tried..he would make sure it regretted it...

Berserker stared at Thrasher, taking in the entire situation. He greatly wished to continue to battle Thrasher, the prospect greater than anything he could ever think of, but he knew that any more attacks would quickly end in failure, and his life.

Berserker snarled at Thrasher one last time, before turning and hastily moving off as best as he could. He was angry, not just at Thrasher for humiliating him so, but at himself, for letting his anger make choices for him, and for deciding to take on the impossible. Berserker quickened his pace, before he began running, seeking to get away from Thrasher as quickly as he could.

Running until he was far from the Spinosaurs' territory, Berserker let out a gasp and collapsed onto his side, blood trickling from many wounds. He was in pain, greater so than from any opponent he had faced. He was thankful Thrasher let him live, but now he had some painful reminders of his encounter.

Berserker licked at his flank wound, before he lay quietly besides a large tree, hoping that no large predator would catch his scent, but also hoping that nobody would see him in this state, the Tyrannosaur ashamed and angry with himself...
