Had an enjoyable birthday. Ate Pizza for dinner and I got Bioshock Infinite, Pacific Rim, a tv series called Vickings and a pre-order of Batman: Arkham Origins.

That's a pretty valid point. It might be difficult to actually kill the zombies with accurately with melee weapons like short swords and spears, especially when fighting superior numbers. Fatigue would be a big issue as well, more so for the phalanx than the legion.
The men at the front would tire quickly and they would have to break formation to relieve them.

Then again breaking formation wouldn't be as dramatic against zombies as it would be against armed attackers.

Fatigue would probably be the biggest issue faced with it, as ammunition is the biggest issue faced by fire arms.

You would need a lot of troops to be able to hold out indefinitely against a dense horde.

Picked up my copy of Arkham Origins today. It's living up to my expectations thus far though it has taken a little time to get used to have the exploding gel and the remote battarang at the get go instead of getting them latter.

Hope everyone had a good Halloween. I bottomed out around midnight and only just crawled out of bed. Worst sugar crash of my life.

I didn't have any trick or treaters come by, so my halloween was quiet.

I dressed up as a pirate for Halloween. Not for a party or anything, just went to college as one.

There were a few others dressed up as well, and it was well worth it. A very fun time indeed.

Our Halloween was pretty quiet too. We had maybe five trick-or-treaters...which is why I'm essentially hungover on sugar. Spent the better part of the night snuggled with my dork, eating candy and watching videos on youtube.
