I plan to go for a second viewing later this week. It's not the kind of movie you watch just once.

It's a great movie. I really really hope there'll be a sequel, maybe with King Ghidorah.

That'd be siiiick.

Looking back I think I grew up at a great time for toys considering Jurassic Park and Star Wars toys really put out some great stuff in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

But you guys see that giant apparently two feet tall, three foot long Godzilla toy? I would have loved to have something like that growing up... heck I'd love to still have it now haha

Lol. Meanwhile, I was making my own toys out of clay because they didn't ship those awesome toys here in the 90s :P

I'll have to stop by the Toys R Us that recently opened up here. see if I find anything I could use as decoration. a Godzilla figure or something.

I heard on the radio while going to my job training that a sequel to Gareth Edward's Godzilla is already in the works.

Was a bit disappointed with the lack of... well everything, in Godzilla. It was a bit dull.

Saw the movie again yesterday. I've heard there's a King Ghidorah reference in the movie, but I couldn't find it.

I've been wanting to go for a second viewing, but haven't found anyone interested in watching again.

Anybody else watch the latest Game of Thrones episode?

I like to think I can handle my fair share of gore but... that scream in the end though...

It's been several hours since the episode and I still feel sick and haunted by it or make it's the wendy's I had...

I quite honestly haven't even watched the first episode of Game of Thrones. Lack of interest, I guess. Or motivation, seeing as my family tends to watch things at a set time every day and I find it inconvenient for me. I like to watch things at my own pace.

I'm not bothered much by gore [or any kind of visual effect, really]. It's smells that get to me. So until they come up with technology that allows TV's to emit horrible, distinct odors for certain scenes, odds are it'll be impossible for me to be disgusted physically by what I see on telly :P

That was the first one that's actually horrified me, as well.

Also, they're now 2 for 2 with battle episodes. I think Blackwater is still my favorite though.

Both were great battles though having Jon acting like a natural commander all the more reminds me of Robb (and boy do I miss the King in the North). Also the scene of the five men holding the gate against a giant as they recited their oath was particularly powerful. And considering the circumstances, I'm sure Jon would have loved to have some wildfire to use against the wildlings

[Show spoiler warning].

For sure. Jon's been a badass since the beginning of this season though, IMO. At least compared to previous seasons.
They'd better write some damn good songs for Pyp and Grenn (who's now giantslayer).

Also, that anchor.

I missed Ygritte's final words from the books, though.

The entire episode seemed like something out of a movie. Really high quality stuff.

Also the anchor was brutal.

I still wonder how they managed to get huge pieces of smashed castle into the slings during Minas Tirith. Must've had some giants of their own, lol.

If normal men with rope can make giant pyramids, getting castle bits and using them as projectiles is nothing when faced with the will of humanity.

Humans are dominate even if we are horrific to each other.

Watched a demo of Alien:Isolation earlier this week. It certainly looks promising, though after the release of Colonial Marines, I won't be surprised if gaming news sites report that Isolation has lower pre-orders than predicted.
