Hayasa and Timsah looked at Nuka, gripped in sick fascination and no small measure of horror. To think that mere moments earlier, they had been walking through the same waterway that monster patrolled. Before anything else could be done, however, Nuka's tail became the next victim of the crocodile's wrath, the Deinosuchus viciously clamping down on the lashing limb and yanking her back into the depths of the river, destroying any hopes she had of escape before once again going into a roll, this time trying to sever the Spinosaur's tail. By now, other crocodiles of differing sizes were beginning to enter the water, slowly tightening the ring around the Spinosaurid, eager for a share of the soon-to-be kill...
Hellfire wasn't too far behind. A thud came from the room beyond the hall, the Deinonychus landing through a hole in the ceiling, orange eyes shimmering in the darkness of the barely lit chamber. The normally slitted pupils of the Dromaeosaurid were now nearly wide enough to take up the entirety of his eyes, soaking in as much light as could be had in this dark place. Undergrowth sprawled across the floor, walls and ceiling, clinging from cracks above him like snakes from a tree branch, the flora of the swamp slowly retaking this alien place. grey-green blocks with blackish grey faces sat on angular surfaces, computers meant to regulate the power for the station, though the Deinonychus would have no way of knowing the purpose of these strange things. On the ground, beneath the web of plantlife, bands of 3 or more oddly coloured vines, cables in truth, snaked along the ground below grates, moving in an angular path to places beyond the walls of the room. Were it not for the importance of catching up with Aircrest, he could well have spent hours here, tangled in his own fascination. To think, Very few creatures on this island had lived to witness these places as they had originally been...and Ripper was likely the most knowledgeable of them. The horrified screeches from beyond the buildings walls suddenly grew louder, pulling the Deinonychus from his thoughts. Eyes narrowing, he pressed on into the hallway from where the sound had come. Odds are, Aircrest would likely be within it.
And indeed he was. It only took Hellfire a few strides into the heavily overgrown hallway to see the silhouette of the green Raptor returning from the end of it, undoubtedly to report his findings, suggest a plan or perhaps ask for him to join him. Cocking his head, an inquisitive purr escaped the Dromaeosaurid, curious to know what had new developments the Wanderer had to share...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
