Adeline sighed. "Ok, then. I'm still thinking about locking you two up in a room though. It's going to be that or I am going to have a talk with Eric." She rolled her eyes. "I just hope he will be in a good mood for a talk," she mumbled. She looked his way to see him working as hard as possible, following Raphael's every order and chuckled. "You're right. He is working properly this time."

Eric caught Adeline's glance. He wished to keep it, but looked back at his work again. He was focusing hard on keeping the men in line. So far, it looked like he was doing his job well. "As soon as I am done, I am going to finally spend time with Adeline." Little did he know that Adeline had a different thing in mind.

James shrugged. "If you can get him in a room with me without him yelling his head off and trying to knock my block off, sure, i dont mind. the last talk we had, however brief it was, had him saying im not even allowed to look at you. with an attitude like that, neither of us are gonna get very far now, are we?" he said, before eyeing Rainbow as he whistled the song, Nathan now joining in. James looked at Raphael, who nodded. Raphael knew what James was thinking. the last thing they wanted was a tortured and treachorous crew. not now so close to the battle that would decide whether they remained free men, or were taken to the Gallows of the nearest British colony, or perhaps simply hung from the masts of the East India Company's navy. this would probably boost Morale. James looked at Adeline and whispered "In the mood to sing The Song?"...

"Oh, I will find a way to make him comply without a fuss," said Adeline with a wink and nodded to James' soft request. "Yes, The Song would do everyone some good," she whispered back, but was a little nervous because Eric was on the deck. "It is just Eric, nothing more. You can do this, Adeline." She smiled softly at James. "Get your guitar and let's do this wonderful song."

James grinned. "Up to you, Adeline". after she answered his question, he nodded, and went to his Quarters. a few moments later, he came out, Guitar in hand, and went to the bow, sat down and began to play, starting with single strings, Rainbow by his side, whistling the tune once more...

Raphael was now near the door to the Quarters, eyeing the crew from he shadows, making sure the crew didn't try anything...

Adeline looked back at James to see him playing the tune on the guitar and Rainbow whistling to it. She then looked up at the sky, took a deep breath and started to sing The Song.

Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the colors high.
Heave ho,
thieves and beggars,
never shall we die.

The king and his men
stole the queen from her bed
and bound her in her Bones.
The seas be ours
and by the powers
where we will we'll roam.

Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the colors high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
never shall we die.

Some men have died
and some are alive
and others sail on the sea
– with the keys to the cage...
and the Devil to pay
we lay to Fiddler's Green!

The bell has been raised
from it's watery grave...
Do you hear it's sepulchral tone?
We are a call to all,
pay head the squall
and turn your sail toward home!

Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the colors high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
never shall we die

Eric heard a beautiful voice ring through the air. He momentarily stopped his work and looked around to see the owner of that voice. There, he found Adeline, singing her heart out with the captain playing the guitar and Rainbow whistling along to the song. His mouth hung open at the sound of her voice.

James' playing started to quicken, becoming a strum, as he joined in on the singing. Nathan started to sing, and the Galley Boy, Smith, was singing along, his clear voice ringing through the air in tune with Adeline's crystal clear, Angelic voice. the crew's working began to speed up, their movements in tune with the music, as James began to play a more intricate tune. some crew members started to sing the song with them, and now, the other ships were alongside them, their Crews keeping sharp ears on the music...

Adeline sang as hard as possible while the crew and James started to join along. A smile lit on her face. This was really going to help the crew out and get them working.

Eric was looking all around him to see the other pirates singing as they were working, as well as Captain James and the parrot. What the hell was going on?! His eyes never stopped staring at Adeline and his ears never stopped listening to her sweet honey-like voice. He was somewhat proud of her and proud of himself to develop that kind of voice for her. He was the one who made her song take wing. He wondered if he should start joining in the singing and glanced one more time at the other pirates, who were still continuing their work. Finally, Eric decide to let his voice ring out with the rest of them.

Adeline heard another voice ring out in the air. At his voice, her smile faltered a little, but she still kept on singing. Her eyes stared into his own. He was slowly starting to approach them, singing along. His voice was...amazing and...she didn't know if she could go on singing along with him or not! She wanted to hear his mesmerizing voice. "What is he doing," she thought and tried to make eye contact with James. There was uncertainty in her eyes. He was coming closer...closer...his voice was starting to take a hold of her again. She kept her eyes locked on Eric...

James eyed Adeline as he noticed Eric coming closer, his hand playing on the strings as if he knew the song by heart. he began to sing louder, the crew now joining in, the Pearl and Dauntless' crews also singing along, all the voices joining as one. Raphael had moved forward, and was now right behind Eric, noticing he was trying to get closer to the Captain and ms. Adeline, as James began to play intricately as the song grew louder, it's tune beating all thanks to it's unusual design, making it an unusually loud instrument, louder than most. James, noticing Adeline's uncertain look, stared right into Eric's eyes, a glare that Raphael shuddered at the sight of. he knew the glare was at Eric, but couldn't help but shudder. he could clearly remember one of the times the Captain had been angered, and that stare seemed to remind him. it was not something he wanted to remember. he put a hand on Eric's shoulder , a firm grip holding him in place. Meanwhile, the Dauntless, Pearl and Dragon's crews had united in their singing, the voices of nearly 1000 men uniting as one mighty voice, the words clearly hearable in the loud roar of voices:

Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the colors high.
Heave ho,
thieves and beggars,
never shall we die.

The king and his men
stole the queen from her bed
and bound her in her Bones.
The seas be ours

hoist the colors high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,

Eric didn't care who was behind him at the moment and he ignored James' glare. His eyes were only on Adeline, as he continued to sing The Song.

"Floating, falling..." Adeline was continuing to stare into Eric's green eyes. She could see his mouth moving and imagine that powerful singing voice of his. His voice was strong and slowly pulling her toward him. She took a step forward him as she continued to sing. Her voice then stopped completely when she reached the last verse and when she reached Eric, while Eric continued to sing with the rest of the crew. Her eyes were wide and her breathing grew rapid. It was hard for her not to fight that inviting, tempting voice off.

the music went into it's final phase, with all the crews singing, James playing quickly and intricately on the guitar, and the drumming from Yuke's military drum beating to the tune in the distance. the sound was deafening, the crews on the ship moving together to help tune their voices into one, the words echoing all around the ships for miles. James closed his eyes as he finally reached the last bit of the song, taking a deep breath and playing the ending he now knew by heart, the whole time thoughts of what was unfolding in front of him taking over his mind. until he could split Adeline and Eric completely, Adeline would be stuck to that voice. as the crew ended the song, the music, drum and Rainbow's whistling the only remaining things, James ended the tune magnificently, earning a few cheers on the deck...

Eric smirked and didn't stop when the crew stopped. He kept going, whispering in Adeline's ear and holding her hands. He was starting to sing a different song this time, one that was in a way, her lullaby. He would always sing it to her. His voice was soft. The words echoed in her brain. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was relaxed. Everything around her was blocked out. She was now under his spell, for now. She slowly opened her eyes when he finally stopped singing and gazed into his eyes. Right now, he was like an angel to her. She whispered, "My angel," to him.

Eric wrapped his arms around her. "Yes," he whispered into her hair. "I am your angel." He didn't care who was watching and didn't care that Raphael was right behind him. He slightly wondered what he could do now that she was under his control. He could probably make her sing again if he wanted her to. "We are going to have a voice lesson tonight," he whispered some more while running his hand through her hair. "Eight o' clock."

Adeline didn't say anything, but nod. "A voice lesson," she murmured, his melting voice still wrapped around her mind like a snake.

the lookout in the Crow's Nest called "Land Ho!". James looked towards their heading, and spotted a massive Cove. it looked like a natural fortress. ShipWreck Cove. James went to the cabin to put his stuff in place, and began to prepare for the meeting while Nathan commanded the crew to set full sail. most of the crew got straight to work, but some didn't. Raphael said "Mr. Duplier. you will have tieme for your wiefe lieter. for now we have wark too do"...

Eric closed his eyes and sighed. Great, now he had work to do and couldn't even spend time with her. He unwrapped his arms around her, which made her pout and fold her hands. He tried to leave from her side, but she grabbed him on the arm, making him stop. "Where are you going? I thought you wanted to stay with me."

Eric didn't have time for this. "I need to go work, Adeline. You know this. Now, go find something else to do." He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I might see you later tonight, for your singing lesson. Remember that."

Adeline only nodded and watched as he went away. After he was sure he was gone, she smirked. "Got you right where I want you," she whispered and made her way toward James' cabin. She just hoped that he wasn't mad.

James was busy polishing what he had in metal and gold, such as his pistol, his shoulder strap buckle, and his little medallion, a skull and cross swords, the left one having a J on it, and the other an S. he put his guitar in it's case and got to work polishing, thinking about the earlier happenings on deck...

Adeline stared at the wooden door to James' cabin before opening it, thoughts swirling through her head. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, opened them again, and opened the door to find James busily polishing. The silence in the room was uncomfortable to her. She decided to break it. "The crew seem very happy now."

They came closer to the massive Island, for that is what it was. There was no gentle shore, it was sheer rock face at a ninety degree angle, there was no place to reach the top of the rock face. Which ended about seventy feet above the shoreline with a mass Jungle, leaning in wards slowly going upward. To which the tree line ended on another rocky mountain which was smoking like a Volcano, unending, never-stopping. But light still..
And for a split second one could've sworn the saw a stern of a ship disappearing behind the rock face. But it was a split second, it was perfectly straight whatever it was...

James said "Indeed, they seem to be. not that it really matters. in the end, it'll be what happens during and after the Bretheren Court that decides how they do when we're sailing into battle". he continued to polish his effects, his eyes still glued to the numerous pieces of metal on the table...

Adeline sighed and watched as James kept his eyes focused on his work. "Do you want me to help you with that? The work will be done faster." She let a faint smile appear on her face.

James shrugged and said "If you're in the mood, sure. there's a small rag over here on the table. my shoulder strap buckle needs to be polished, as well as the metal on my sword's sheath"...

Adeline went over to the table, grabbed the rag, and started with the buckle, her eyes focused on the metal. The silence in the room was welcomed as she polished. She didn't know what to do or say after that. Was it right to say anything now or should she just keep quiet?
