Stimeak was about to kill the dragon when suddenly his eyes were blinded and his ears filled with ringing. When his vision returned he was pinned against the mountain side breathing heavily, his body scroched. Infront of him a mushroom cloud of flame dissapated into the sky over where the Dragon had been. He shook the snow of his head and hopped to the ground. He padded cauotsiously over to the crater of melted snow. There was the Dragons massive skull. Below it, A Red glowing Gem attached to a necklace. Stimeak coughed and snorted trying to shake the ash off his face. He reached out touching the gem with a claw and then relinquishing at the heat and power of it. The Red Alariel Gem. He gingerly touched it testing it. Decideing that fire had no place in him right now he curled the necklace around one claw lifting into the air examaining it. He flicked it into the air and cought it in one clawed hand covering the gem, A layer of ice protecting his palm from its heat. He beleived that Alariel Gems were alive. And he had no intention of angering this one. Nor did he want to leave it lying around where anyone might pick it up. He glanced around looking for Neltharion takeing his mind off the gem....

Suddenly, Neltharion's head exploded from the snow, looking around wildly. He spotted his mentor, climbing out, shaking the snow off his back and head. Neltharion walked over to Stimeak, glancing at the skull. Did you see that?! He exploded! he growled, glancing from Stimeak to the skull. Did you see the size of the fireballs he was firing?! I want to learn that! Oh, and life magic! And weather magic! Neltharion snarled, walking closer to the skull, eyeing it intensly. And he was on fire! I want to learn that! OH, except with Ice! he bellowed, lifting into the air, flying back to Stimeak's side, grinning.

Stimeak laughed brought into a cheerfull mood by Neltharions actions. He growled "ha, All in due time, but you can't learn everything. tell you what, when we are better rested we can try out some of your death spells." Then added in a playfull tone "Yes he did explode.... Hurt like hell I mean after a fight that long "KABLAM" So unfair...." He started padding along up the mountain...

Neltharion trotted after his mentor, still grinning. Death spells? Great! Those are my favorite! Or maybe ice... he growled, speeding up ahead of Stimeak. Your spells were great! That tornado was great! Do you think I could learn that?! Maybe make it an Ice tornado! Or Earth Tornado! Is that even possible? Neltharion snarled, still in a good mood, despite the fight.

Stimeak laughed again and shook his head growling lightly "Well Tornados are out of your reach I'm afriad but with a bit of work I'm sure we could have you playing with the weather." He added with a laugh " I have never seen an earth tornado but an ice tornado.... Could be done, sortve, if you chucked some Ice shards into it... I might show you what it would look like latter, or we could go cause some avalanches to celebrate?"

Avalanches? Great! Neltharion growled, grinning once more. They arrived at the top of the spire, Neltharion walking into the cave, laying down. We'll only rest for a short while, right? I want to get right...to...the..Avalanches... he yawned, quickly falling asleep, exhaustion finally taking its toll.

Stimeak laughed shakeing the snow off him. He peered at Neltharion his palm glowing dimly. By the looks of it Neltharion was almost perfectly ok. revleived, Stimeak made his way to the back of the cave and opened his clenched fist, revealing the gem. It filled the cave with a red glow. The back wall of the cave was made of ice, being the base of the spire itself. He took the gem and pushed it into the ice. It melted through it going deep in. When it was in far enough, he pulled his hand out and re-froze the melted Ice. Now that the gem was safe he curled up, his tail flicking idely as he fell into a light sleep

Garroth and the others surveyed from the beach the entire expanse of water before them and the human settlement nearby. It appeared that they had arrived unnoticed by anyone. Not far away several fishing boats were sent out from the docks and were in the water, Garroth saw the humans throwing nets in and out and scooping up fish in them. After a few minutes, suddenly something caught Garroth's eye. A huge shadow was in the water and heading towards the small boats...

2 days later...all was not well among the Red Dragon. Inferno, the now substitute Emperor, was asked, as he was, after 2 days of special pressure training by his father and various mentors of other races, the most skilled Dragon among them. he could heal most wounds, he could make psychic shields, he had somewhat limited control over the water, and could make specific plants burst from the ground at will, though with difficulty. his father had made sure he had learned all the skills that his master, the missing Emperor Mortus, had failed to teach him. if need be, Inferno was prepared to start his work as Emperor over the Red Dragons. for now however, he was charged with the task, to find the Emperor, and, if dead, to retrieve the Red Alariel Gem...

Neltharion walking around the snow covered forest, slightly bored. He had been practicing his Ice and Death magic, now able to do a few new spells. The black dragon yawned, lifting into the air, flying back towards the Frozen Spire. Neltharion landed at his destination, still bored, deciding to make spikes out of the snow. He raised his hand, a small spike forming out of the snow, the black dragon braking it off before tossing it away, continueing to make the spikes aimlessly.

Garroth and the others had slept and surveyed along the beach after watching that frightening scene. There was no way the humans could've been warned of Leviathen. The huge shadow turned out to be Leviathen and he was out hunting for fish but the humans did not notice and the enormous Sea Monster had risen out of the water and had swallowed up all the fish and a number of the unfortunate fisherman out there at the time. Luckily, 3 of the fisherman had swam to shore. Garroth and the others were worried not so much about the humans but the Leviathen and what other dangers there might be out there...

Stimeak paded around the mountain heading downwards. occasionally hopping down to a lower level. Emmensly bored he raised both hands, standing on his hind legs and started making swirling patterns with his claws. his eyes started glowing and a slow tornado started spinning lazily, it was weak occasionally picking up a squirl and hurling it away but little more. It gracefull blew around carrieing branches and dust into the sky.....

A monstrous howl came from deep benethe the sea. The kraken shifted restlessly deep down in the ShadowFin caverns. Tirelessly garuding his home and what it contained. The Blue Alareil gem pulsed slowly in his lair as The Kraken waited ever watchfully for intruders...

"Remember Inferno. kill anything that approaches you if it acts aggressively. show no mercy. we'll wait for your return" growled Mortus' mate, Fieras, his daughter, looking at her mate to be concerned, hoping he'd return safely. Inferno nodded, and looked at his parents, who simply nodded. his father growled "Remember the lessons I and the Dragon Emperors have taught you. use what you've learned with consideration. some of what you now have at your disposal is beyond what most beings could survive, and a mistake could mean a war with ones we may have no quarrel with. Good luck son. we'll be waiting". Inferno nodded, and wrapped his neck half way around his father's, mother's and then Fieras'. he then turned and left out of the entrance to the massive cave that Mortus called his home. Inferno spread his wings, and leapt off the edge, gliding towards the place Mortus was last seen to be heading...the Frozen Spire...

Stimeak left the tornado dwindle away and he got back to his walk. After awhile, he spotted Neltharion playing with some ice. He bellowed "Think Fast!" and Slammed the snow with his tail sending it showering up and then cascadeing down towards the black dragon farther down the slope. The miniture avalanche gained momentum as it rolled towards Neltharion, Stimeak barely containing his laughter....

"Sir...what should we do? We've been stuck on this shore for 2 days now and the Leviathen has not even attacked us yet. It was only after the fish and we need to find the Blue Alerial Gem!" Asked Fergus impatiently who was watching the water besides Garroth. The others were walking along the beach. Tranquillus was looking into the sunlight. Garroth continued to stare out into the water for a minute before he spoke with his mind again to Fergus. "I wanted us to wait because I needed to see if the Leviathen would return. He did return at one point during last night. He comes at random intervals so I think we can now go and find the Blue Alerial Gem. Indeed we have waited long enough and I doubt going to the humans is the best idea. We'll have to swim under the water and find the Water Dragon's home." He replied. Fergus seemed to relax a bit. He had been tense since yesterday along with the others. But Tranquillus and Garroth had been relaxed a lot of the time."Chronos did talk to me, he said that he knows that the Blue Alerial Gem is deep in a group of underwater caves. He is still trying to pinpoint where exactly but I think we can get more answers from the Water Dragons and their leader. Chronos said their home is located deep in an underwater Cavern which is enormous and will be quite a swim to reach. Fergus, go tell the others we are getting ready to leave and go for an underwater search." Replied Garroth once more...

Neltharion bellowed, lifting into the air, out of the avalanche's way. After the snow settled, the black dragon glanced at Stimeak. Was I supposed to stop that? Neltharion growled, laughing slightly.

Stimeak laughed and padded down towards Neltharion. He growled "Well not really, if you tried you would have been burried..." He took one claw and flashed it through the air pointing it at Neltharion. A miniture blizzard poped up sending a snowball splatting into Neltharions head. He laughed and growled grinning "Didnt think fast enough that time.."

Neltharion threw himself to the ground dramatically, standing up once more. He laughed, looking back at Stimeak. Maybe next time... Neltharion growled, grinning.

Inferno was resting on the ground, eating a goat, when something swooped past his head, grabbing the goat and making off with it. he snarled, and flicked a hand, making the Harpy burst into flames. he quickly ate the goat, and then took off, heading for the Frozen Spire. it was now in clear view...

Neltharion glanced away from his mentor, spotting a figure in the distance. Another Red Dragon. Neltharion snarled, launching into the air, bellowing as he flew toward the dragon, claws outstretched.
