Inferno grinned. "Well, no one ever said that this was something old Bonehead over here wanted to give me" he growled, scraping a claw against the horned skull of his former mentor and, as of now, predeccesor. "Well met Stimeak, or should i say, Emperor Deservant Stimeak. I thank you for the helpfulness and, though at first not warmest, hospitality. for now however, I think i should take my leave of you. hunger is beginning to trouble me, and im not quite sure where i'll find my next meal. however, if you like, I'd be more than willing to get the three of us something to eat. after all, with the lack of an immediate attack for fear of another like him, it's the least i could do". he spat out the word Him with such disgust you'd think it was a lethal poison, his hatred for his predeccesor's constant insult of him returning to mind in an instant...

Stimeak tilted his head and growled "Deservant? Im quiet happy on top of the frozen spire thank you and no, Neltharion and I ate recently. So Red Emperor....." He paused not knowing the dragons name and shruged

Neltharion glanced at the two dragons, turning back around, continueing to make ice spikes and throw them at the cave wall, bored. When the Red Dragon stated his name, Neltharion glanced at him once more, but shrugged it off, continueing his pointless ice magic.

Stimeak nodded hissing "Ah, Well untill we meet again Inferno, and while you are out hunting make sure you tell me if you see any harpies out there. The featherd rats have started raiding the territory again." He glanced at the young black dragon and added louder so he would hear "Neltharion and I will have to pay a vist to their roost"

Inferno raised a spike rimmed eyebrow at the mention of Harpies. "Harpies? well, what would you say if i told you one tried to steal my last meal...incinerated the theif. it ended up being what really filled me" he growled, a draconic chuckle coming from him as he said it.

Neltharion looked at Stimeak, grinning, blindly throwing another ice spike. He cringed slightly at the sound of it shattering, turning back to throw more, still bored.

Stimeak snarled agrily "Really now? Odd, they usually hunt in groups? Well either way we are going to pay them a visit. One particular harpy has failed, or so it would seem...."

Inferno growled "before you leave Stimeak, could you point me in the direction of a good meal?". he made a slight chuckle as he said it, the elemental fin on his back flaring slightly for a moment before being brought down to the point it was almost none existant, the only sign of it's existance being a glow in his fin...

Stimeak nodded and padded outside the cave. He pointed down towards a herd of elk in the distance but they were hard to spot from this distance. He focused his mana, eyes glowing, and a hole opened up in the clouds. Rays of light shone down through the whole illuminateing where the herd grazed. He growled releasing his control over the clouds "There is a herd of elk just down there. Ever tried it before?"

Inferno grinned. "This'll be my first taste of them. they aren't around near where i live. thank you for the help, Stimeak. I'd best not keep you from your work. may we meet again" he then turned, and leapt off of the ledge at the mouth of the cave, and spread his wings, his elemental fin igniting as he left the cave. one of the upsides to being part Elemental was the ability to control how much heat his body generated. now that he was out of the cave, he made himself as hot as he could without going up in a ball of flames, warming his body as he flew the clearing that the elk were grazing in...

Stimeak watched Inferno leave and then growled to Neltharion "Well it seems we just made a powerful freind within the Red Dragons, infact, THE most powerful red dragon.... Kindve suprising seeing as we killed the preveious emperor just two days ago.." He ended with a slight laugh before looking back out across the mountains.

Garroth felt the cool water rush past him as he took a dip into the water. Several more splashes soon followed as the Green Dragons went into the water. Garroth swam up and downward like some snake as he looked around for any danger lurking in the water. He was not comfortable with this but he knew it was the only way to find the Water Dragons. Even if that meant there was some gigantic sea monster out there watching them...

Inferno glided down into the clearing, diving in and locking his claws on the horned herbivore's back, crushing it's spine and lifting it up into the air, his powerful wings kicking up dust and debris below him as he lifted off, heading towards a nice calm empty part of the clearing. he landed, and began to eat. after he finished, he licked his claws clean, but stopped. looking at his claws, he could see the orange that gave his claws a marble-like texture was glowing he walked over to nearby stream, and drank from it, before flying towards a nearby lake, wanting to see how the gem had effected his appearance. looking down into the still water, he saw his bone crown was coated in silver, a red gem on the tip of the central, longest spike, decorated by swirling golden metal. the crown definately wasn't made of any normal metal. his elemental fin burned hotter than the hottest Volcanoes. "I think it'd be best we return to the Empire, Your Majesty. they will be awaiting your return" hissed a voice from above him. the serpent twisted around in the air in front of him for a moment, before stopping to face him. "I am Slytheriussss the Fire Sssserpent. the Guardian of the Red Alariel Gem, and Sssservant of the Element. assss Gem holder and Emperor, you have complete control over the element" hissed the Cobra-like fire serpent. "All you need isss to ssssummon me if you wish for me to guide you with the more ssssensssitive spells". and with that, the snake crawled up his side and into the crown, curling around the gem and turning gold coloured as he shrunk and finally stopped, frozen in place in the form of a fantastically detailed Cobra on the top of the crown, pointing forward, hood spread, and mouth open, ready to strike, it's hood rimmed with numerous spikes. Inferno stood to his full height, and spread his wings, lifting off and continuing his flight for home...

Neltharion looked at Stimeak, snickering slightly, turning back to the cave wall, still bored. He lashed his tail at a pile of ice, shattering it, smirking. Neltharion yawned, standing, walking out of the cave, staring off at the mountains blankly.

Stimeak yawned lazily and padded out of the cave, leaping upward and climbing up to the summit and the base of the spire. He curled up against it, eyes flicking around scanning the clouds...

Orion sighed in relief when he was away from the herd, and away from his sister and Serenity. Now he could think clearly without those two mares bothering him. He broke into a canter, his eyes only focusing on the trail ahead. His destination was the forest again. He yearned to see his elf friend, and tell him that he finally found the unicorn herd. After a few hours of traveling at a canter, he finally reached the border where the valley met the forest. The black equine halted and stared at it for some time. Well, this is it, he thought as he took a breath and entered the woods he'd known so well. He was somewhat glad to hear the chirping of the birds and the rustle of squirrels in the trees as he entered the wooded area. He somewhat missed the tranquility and slight mystery of the forest...

Inferno glided into the cave of the Former Emperor Mortus, and was greeted with applause and roars of welcome and celebration. he then got almost pinned to the ground as his parents walked over to him, nuzzling him. "How did you know?" he growled, surprised. "A Fire Portal opened up in front of me earlier today. inside it was a Fiery snake that told me that my son was now the new Emperor of my Flight, and that Mortus was killed the previous day by a Flammus Maxim spell. what made him do it, we dont know. His family is mourning him now, but we have been left to Welcome you, and to congratulate you on their behalf" growled Flammus, Inferno's father. without another word, the massive Red Imperial bent his neck, lowering his head to below Inferno's in a low bow, until he felt a claw on his chin. "Father, Formalities are for those who dont know me. but you...you treat me like you always have. so i've been granted control over the Red Alariel, so i've become the Emperor. but that doesn't exclude me from the family. it doesn't put me above my own parents" growled Inferno as he raised his father's head back to his. Flammus stared at his son, a flash of pride showing in his golden eyes as he returned to his full height, and growled "As you wish...son". a grin came across his face as he said it, which was returned by Inferno. Narina nuzzled her son and growled "You'll make a great Emperor, Inferno". right then, the conversation was interrupted by one of Inferno's old friends, Furionus, a Red Dragon who was best charicterized by his wings, which were marked with black fire patterns, as well as a well protected head, being protected by spikes on the chin, a row of thorns that made way for a grey coloured fin that grew to full length at the base of the neck, and continued to the end of his tail, which had an axe-shaped tip. Furionus growled "Congratulations, Your Majesty. I'm sure you'll lead us well". he then made a bow, but Inferno simply put a claw under the chin of his friend, and raised his head up to his level. "Do i have to tell everyone close to me to just call me Inferno?" growled Inferno, cocking his head with an expression of mock annoyance on his face, which seemed alot different with the Silver coloured, Alariel adorned crown on his head. Furionus snorted, trying to hold a laugh as he growled "Well, i wondered how you'd react when I, of all dragons, did it. i expected you to go on a frenzy and just tell everyone to stop with the "Your Majesty" thing". Inferno chuckled and growled "Well, you can't be successful every time. maybe next time". the other Red Dragon smirked, and growled "Maybe", before turning away. an elder Red Dragon came up to him, probably over 20,000 years old, and growled "Your Majesty, my name is Embur. I am your mentor for Political events. Should you choose to accept my services, I shall be by your side during any important political decision, to give you advice and to help govern the Realm". Inferno nodded, and growled "Well, Embur. perhaps after I have recovered from my travel, you'd be free to explain to me the political standings of our Realm amongst the other races in the land?". Embur nodded as he growled "Of course, your Majesty. Of course. is there any other service i might be able to provide you?". Inferno growled "Thank you, Embur, but that'll be all. I may be Emperor, but that doesn't mean i need others to serve me for every little thing". Embur nodded, and growled "Of course, Your Majesty". Inferno turned his back and looked back at the Red Dragons there. "Thank you all for this Warmest of Welcomes, and i appreciate the many congratulations i have been given. I hope that one day i'll be able to repay you all for this. I can tell that one or two of you, probably you being one of them, Furionus, are going to be laughing at this little "speech" as it were as soon as it's over, but you know me. you know i dont care, dont mind, and probably join in on the humour later. that is...after i've had a bit of a rest. now, if you'll excuse me...". throughout the speech there had been looks of pride and inspiration as he spoke, and an actual round of amused chuckles at the comment about Furionus making jokes about it later, something that was rarely done during the rare but present Imperial speeches. Inferno turned towards the entrance to the massive cave, and was about to leap off until he was stopped by a call from his father. "You're forgetting something, Inferno. where are you going to go?". Inferno growled "where i always do when i want to rest". Flammus growled "I doubt that, some how. you see, as Emperor, you choose your own place to live. you're no longer bound by your old home". Inferno growled "As long as i am without a mate, that's where i want to be". Flammus grinned, as if knowing something Inferno didn't, and nodded. Inferno then spread his wings, and just as he was about to fly, he heard a familiar voice call to him. looking to his right, he spotted the source: Fieras. she came up to him, and bowed as she growled "Your Majest-" she was interrupted as Inferno put his clawed hand under her chin, and, as he had done with the others before her, lifted her back up to full height. "I've done this for the third time now. I know you personally, as a friend. a close friend. more than that. you dont need to speak to me like a distant emperor whose favour you're trying to gain. treat me like you always have". a slow nod came from her, as her mother walked up behind her, a bow coming from her as well. he made a snarling sigh and growled "It isn't neccesary, Novina". Novina, a massive Red Dragon with black, backwards pointing spikes all around the base of her skull and a fin of greyish black skin held up by red spikes, going down her back, was Mortus' mate, Fieras' mother and former Empress. she growled "I merely wish to show you the respect you deserve, Your Majesty. I have had my time as Empress. and now, it's your turn to reign over our flight". Inferno growled "I don't want to be treated as some god over Red Dragons. i am Inferno. simple. I may be the Red Alariel Gem holder, the Emperor, but i am still the same dragon i was before now. you didn't bow to me then, so don't bow to me now". "As you wish Inferno. As you wish" growled Novina, as she walked into the cave. "Is there anything else i need to deal with? or can i finally put my head down and rest?" growled Inferno to the dragons in the cave, a humorous tone in his voice. "Go rest, Inferno!" growled Flammus, as he went to deal with the other advisors of the Emperor. Inferno leapt off the ledge, Fieras following him. Inferno looked around and saw her flying after him, and slowed down a bit. "Oh, what'd i forget now?" he growled, knowing the look on Fieras' face, partial amusement and partial annoyance on her face. "Me!" she growled, snickering. "What do you mean?" he growled, still a bit confused. "Don't you remember? we were to be mates from the moment you became Emperor! it was planned and everything!" she called back, on the edge of a laughing fit at the stunned look on his face. "Oh. OH! now i remember!" he growled, the realisation hitting him with such force it literally knocked him out of the air for a few seconds. the two Dragons continued flying, Fieras leading. she had already chosen a place to make their home...

Stimeak padded along a trail heading down wards. He raied his head stareing out into the distance scenting the air. Then it cought his eye. I tiny airborne humanoid figure. A harpy. With a wave of his hand the clouds parted to reveal nearly 38 harpies attacking a herd of reindeer. The herd was droping numbers fast with Haripes killing and carrieing them off. He snarled and roared "Neltharion! Harpies, get here NOW!" He beat his wings taking flight. He curled his hand around summoning a bolt of chain lightning. The spell would have the power to take out half of the harpies. He crushed the mana ball re asorbing it. He smirked to himself "Where is the fun in that" and powered down towards the haripes claws out stretched

Neltharion stood, grinning. Finally! Something to do! he bellowed, lifting into the air, flying straight into the group of harpies. Neltharion grabbed one, biting onto its top half, ripping it in half. He threw it toward the ground, turning back to the other harpies, unleashing his Shadow Flame on two of them, melting the skin off their bones. Neltharion swung around, slamming his tail against another Harpy, shattering its bones. He flew back, waiting for the harpies to follow, thrusting his hands up, an enourmous amount of snow exploding from the ground, encasing 3 harpies in ice. Neltharion laughed, flying back, eyeing the remaining Harpies...
