Tyretros snarled, stopping, now a large distance from the water, nervous that the crocodile might strike again. He flopped down, beginning to lick his paw tenderly, trying to stop the wound from bleeding. Tyretros glanced at Nightbane, now fully trusting the lion for helping him, making sure he was ok before continueing to tend to his wound...

Blood Scar peeked his head above the water, notcing the lion had fallen back, it was tending to its paw for all he knew it could have been broken. The massive crocodile would soon have more scars due to his injures but for now, Blood Scar could rapidly burst out of the water or run really quickly on land for a short time and could try and finish off the injured lion but the second one would mess things up... Blood Scar waited in the water watching their next move...

Nightbane looked down at the Lion and growled "You ok? anything besides your paw hurt?". he shook his head a bit. he made sure he was a fair distance from the water and kept watch as he waited for the Lion to respond...

Tyretros stopped licking his paw, standing reluctantly. I'm...fine. he growled, glancing at the water behind Nightbane. Lets get moving. The water doesn't seem so safe anymore... he growled, turning, trotting off away from the river and into the savannah, his paw throbbing, broken, but not badly. Tyretros glanced around, seeing a group of zebras in the distance, stopping, waiting for Nightbane, not seeing the need to disturb the herbivores...

Nightbane eyed the water for a bit, almost swearing he had seen a reptilian tail move in the water. it was a bad idea to get too far from water, but for now, they had to. he followed the Maneless Lion, keeping a sharp eye out at all times for attackers...

Blood Scar watched as they fled, swift and dangerous creatures... Blood Scar would know have to stick to smaller and weaker prey as his wounds would heal. The massive croc then swam off towards a different direction, looking for any small fish that would be easy to snatch and eat.

Tornado hopped down from the rock, approaching slowly. He barked cheerfully "So your the one who has been howling their head off all day?"

Night flicked her ears, smiling faintly. "I'm not the only wolf out here, you know," she growled good humoredly. "Though I have been howling."

Soon, the zebra herd started to move again, all the different aged equines going at a gallop, this time to look for a suitable water source. Isoke rolled her eyes and fastened her pace to keep up with the rest of the herd. She was still ticked off about how the herd acted as if everything was normal. It's life, her mother's words insisted in her mind. He still didn't deserve to die, Isoke thought miserably and noticed that her pace was lacking again, so she fastened it again...

Tyretros continued on a short distance, finally stopping at a large tree on the savannah. I think its best we stay here for the night... he growled, trotting over to the tree, laying down against it's base. Tyretros yawned, laying his head down, quickly falling into a deep sleep...

Tornado shruged and growled "True, but there isn't many other loners around here. To hard to catch food, what with competeing with lions and the rest of the cats..."

azure eye had finished eating from his kill, having eaten his fill. there was still enough meat left on the moose calf body to feed the tiger for at least another day. with this in mind, the carnivore knew that he wouldn't need to hunt tommorow unless he ate the rest of the body earlier than he expected. he then walked over to the cave that he slept in many nights. the white striped carnivore settled down and closed his eyes, falling asleep.

Night twitched the fur on her shoulders. "True enough," she admitted. "But the lions hardly ever seem to come here. Too hard to catch prey I guess."

Tornado nodded and growled "Well the tigers around my home are annoyingly terratorial so finding food is getting even harder."

Nightbane went over to the tree, and lay down, resting his tired eyes. he put his head down, and let himself fall asleep...

Night tipped her head to one side. "That's a shame," she growled. "Have you tried to drive them out?"

Graytalon had almost reached the distant cliffs, when he suddenly dove down and dropped through the trees, flying between the trunks. He had been hearing a series of faint howls from time to time as he neared the cliffs, and hoped he might be able to scavenge from a wolf kill if he could find one. The hawk quickened his pace, flapping harder, knowing he was nearing the source of the sounds...

Blood Scar swam through the river...crusing around. He finished eating a baby lion cub it found, exploring too close to the river. The massive croc then followed the river, heading towards the african savannah. Maybe it was time to settle down, find a mate and hunt without leaving home from that far and the main part of the river was right in the middle of the giant african savannah.

The herd slowed their fast paced gallops to canters as the lead stallion squinted his eyes and saw that they were near their destination. He let out a shrill whinny, signaling all the other zebras that they were almost at the water source, a river. The other zebras answered the lead with either relieved whinnys or quiet nickers. Isoke was in the middle of the herd, with the yearlings and other two year old colts and fillies. She did nothing, but only followed the herd. When they came to a stop near the river, Isoke was cautious. She watched with wary eyes as the other lowered their heads to the surface to drink and slowly started to near the shore. Her own head lowered carefully. She stared at it for one or two minutes before finally settling to take a drink...

Blood Scar moved slowly in the water and slowly put his above it, eyeing a large herd of zebras. Hopefully he would find a decent meal... moving slowly the massive crocodile entered the water and slowly swam towards the herd, hoping to have a large and good meal knowing that a small baby cub was not enough to fill his monstrous appetite.
