And guys, Kp isnt a man eating ogre who will crush your bones and skin you alive if you make a bad suggestion, he also isnt the only person with a say in this. Le, put down What you have for this rpg in one post so we can take a look at it

Ok well anyway KP gave me a bit of a talking to but he thinks that this whole idea won't be successful anyway because it's too much like the Fantasy RPG. Anyway I'll post up my idea so far for a plot even though it might not be successful. Only that if this does make it that it won't be a repeat of my Dinotopia RPG which failed miserably. Ok well here it goes:

It is set around 2568. Humanity has forged its own alliance called "The Human Systems Alliance" with a government of alien species who's HQ is the largest ship of the fleet called "The Citadel". Multiple species of Aliens have been put into this alliance due to the conflict that has happened. Humanity not only were invaded by the Covenant but soon after they fought against a race called the Turians until the Alliance stepped in and stopped the conflict altogether and stopped the war altogether.

Shortly after the war was a number of other conflicts. This involved a rogue Turian known as Saren whose main goal was to eliminate all humans from the galaxy using an army of another alien species known as the Geth. However, Commander John Shepherd stopped Saren from doing so and the galaxy was safe from the Geth. That is until the Jiralhanae attacked several years on.

The Jiralhanae had struck a huge blow into The Alliance and its fleet. However, the Sangheili arrived shortly afterward and so they were accepted into The Alliance upon learning the Sangheili were allianced with the humans along with the Unggoy and Lekgolo who had also been accepted into this alliance.

However, now with such a huge alliance, there is definate signs of conflict and some have become rogues and have formed groups that rebel against the Alliance. And besides the Jiralhanae, there are also the Kig-Yar and Yanme'e who are hostile as well. They too are against the The Alliance.

The Alliance are now seeking out people, no matter what faction or alien species they are, to go out and fight these threats and so will allow them to become Spectres. Spectres are a rank of their own who's main objective is to protect the galaxy from serious danger.

Ok that's all I have in the plot at the moment. This is incomplete but here is just an idea anyway. It does seem rushed a little. Like I said, this is incomplete and plus I doubt it's even going to be allowed as an RPG. But what's your views on it anyway?

I like it. It doesn't seem like the FRPG except in size. It definitely still has my vote.

Just remember that if it does get accepted that it's not going to be released yet until I do this:

1. Finish Mass Effect. That way I can have a better understanding of the different planets in Mass Effect and the inhabitants that live on them.

2. Fix the plot up. I still need to find some way of introducing Star Wars into this and Aliens Vs Predator. But like I said, I gotta finish Mass Effect first.

AVP can be introduced any number of ways and Star Wars may be a bit too much for an RPG.

heres a thought, instead of working on a complex plot set in the back o beyonds, come up with ideas for a few planets, worlds where this is set

Such as a water planet. One with no land on it. Just water. The only soild ground above the sea would be gigantic trees, maybe so rare that only 20 of them exist in total. These trees would be so huge that whole citys could be built on them

Just an example. Flesh out your idea abit before making it more complex, instead of just adding species, add places for these species to live. stuff like that

Yeah, and maybe give some details about what kind of technology is available, like blaster technology (like from Star Wars) or just simple ballistic weaponry, like in Halo.

Why not both, you know galaxies colliding. As for Star Wars being put in, depending on the time period. If star wars is to be put in, we must know when they come in like what period or age to know whats to be in it. Rebel or Imperial or Jedi or Sith or both prehaps. You can do it prehaps in like old republic during Sion and Nihius, ancient sith lords find this galaxy or planet and send sith over there to kill the captured jedi forces that fled to this galaxy or planet

WHAT? Isn't that were the base is??? There NEEDS to be Star Wars. If not in this RPG, then in a seperate one. Bottom line: This project started with Star Wars, and there needs to be a Star Wars RPG.
