"Of course" growled Morian with a wave of a clawed hand. Inferno, seeing the direction this was going, mentally commanded the Imperial Guard to get ready to fly to the White Emperor's domain. as the Red Dragons outside prepared themselves, one of the Greens growled "What's going on?". "We're going to the White Emperor's domain. Apparently something's happened". the Green Dragon nodded, and looked to the leader of his own group of Guards, as if asking if they should prepare as well. "It's best to be ready anyway. The Emperor isn't in his best of moods. i don't think he'd really care if we were ready or not. he probably expects us to be, after what happened on the way here" growled the Green Dragon leader simply, before returning to restoring a strange tree that was growing in the Singing Caves but had been dying...

The golden dragons were gone completely, no sign of them ever being there was left behind. They had used their powers over time to send themselves back to Chrono's domain, wanting to report their findings to the Timeless One before they would return to the others...

Drionach gave the other emperors a hard stare and snorted "Then what are we waiting for? The longer we delay the further 'he' gets Or, worse, closer to his next target..." He wasnt in the mood for stalling, there was a high chance that he was next on Stimeaks kill list....

Neltharion landed on the icy surface of the Frozen Spire, scanning the area for any possible threats. Now that he had the Black Arial Gem, the demons would be after him, clearly wanting it from the Balrogs. But now...now it was his...soon he would rid the world of their kind...soon the world would be a perfect world...all he needed was the other Emperors' trust...

Balmeer nodded, growling "I think it's time we left". and with that, he stood up, groaning a bit as one of his more serious sounds sent a jolt of pain through his body. "Maybe you should stay, Balmeer" growled Morian, but Balmeer refused. "I'm fine. it's just the remains of the wound that hurt. im ok". Morian relented, and Rutus led the dragons out, Inferno behind him, with Slytherius at his side. once they left the cave, he led the younger Dragon, Setrinus away and growled "Look. my home is west of here, about 2000 miles from here. it's on a mountain peak. a large cave with Red Dragons patrolling it. if at some time in the future you need anything, go there and show them the bracelet i gave you". then, without another word, he turned to return to the Emperors and leapt into the air, his imperial guard right behind him, as the Emperors took off, each accompanied by their own group of guards, with the exception of Morian, who flew alone...

"You're sure of what you saw?" boomed the immense, black, flame cored Demon Lord Beliar. "Yes, master! YES!" wheezed a tiny, black creature as it looked up to it's gargantuan leader. "VALROZ!" boomed the Demon Lord, waiting for the Demon Commander to arrive. this could well be a lead to the thing he wanted most. after he had finished with this affair, he would check in to see what had become of the force sent to acquire the Black Alariel Gem...the key to his former power...

Valroz immediately flew over to Beliar and bent down on one knee before him. "Yes, my Lord?" he replied hopefully.

Drionach and his two guards followed the other emperors. Each one was tense with anxiety, still worried over the consequences of what had happened. It was clear where the missing storm cell had gone when they arrived in vitaes realem. There was smoke riseing from fields and forests all around and other forests were little more than blackend trees, tossed about like twigs. In other parts, crops could be seen thawing out from what was most likely a blizzard. He spotted a fishing boat lodged in a particulary tough looking frozen tree. In the distance, on Vitaes mountain home, he could already geuss that it was the focus of activity. From here he couldnt see a single surviveing forest and parts of the ussually lush mountain were iced over like a glacier....

Garroth and Tranquillus continued to fly toward the massive fortress in the distance, as they ascended higher they began to notice what appeared to be spirits, these ghastly beings were the forms of dragons. Garroth guessed that they were once living creatures but passed away after certain period of time and by some unknown cause. Either way, Garroth though startled by the sight flew onward. They were getting closer now to their destination. As Garroth thought, he wondered to himself "Is this where spirits come after their bodies die? If so then maybe, just maybe, Sarcus would be among those spirits. If she is, then Borgus would be proud." It was a nice idea that there maybe yet some afterlife for the deceased. He flew on, thinking of what would lie ahead...

"I wish you to go to a valley with my servent, Gnarl. it could be the lead we need to achieve our goal. take a platoon with you, and DO NOT come back without the Dragons who are there" boomed the immense Demon Lord as he pointed to a small black, 6 legged creature that seemed to be made of some kind of black slime, it's eyes glowing yellow, like it's mouth...

Inferno looked around, stunned. forests, burned. crops, desimated, and Vitae's mountain home, utterly demolished. he noted the presence of two strange brown Dragon corpses. they looked like Whites, but where brown, wingless and didn't have a single strand of hair on their bodies, unusual among Whites. "Killed?" he growled questioningly. "Summoned" growled Slytherius to his master, silently, now no more but a flaming serpentine coiled around the Alariel in his crown. "Over here" growled Morian to the other Emperors, hovering over the edge. Inferno flew over and looked down, a look of surprise coming across his face as he spotted the body of the White Emperor, impaled on a spike. "Vitae..." growled Inferno. a cough came from the Dragon, getting the Emperors' attention. "M...M...Morian....i...I'm...sorry...I Couldn't....couldn't kill him....i couldn't....kill Stimeak...not...not him....and...as a result....i...i'v been.....killed" spluttered the Emperor. "Calm Down, Vitae. you'll be fine. we need to get this rock out of your chest. we need to get you treated". "If i could be treated....do...do you think i'd....be like this...now?! i'm...beyond recovery....p...promise me...ALL of you.....d...don't....don't kill him....ugh" wheezed the Emperor, finally losing what remained of his life, his body falling limp....

Valroz bowed his head again. "As you wish, Lord," he growled. Upon standing he said, "Where is this valley?"

"Follow me, Commander" hissed the small creature, bursting into flames as it took up a new, winged form, looking like a fiery bat, as it started to flap away, heading for the Valley that it had seen...

Valroz nodded and followed the little being, calling out for Demons to join him as they went. Before long, he had a medium-sized platoon of powerful, well-armed Demons marching behind him.

after about 3 hours of marching, they had finally arrived. the arid vally that formed a canyon in the middle, where the two Dragons he had spotted entered a portal. The small black creature had returned to it's insect-like, 6 legged form, and was zipping through the rocks in the canyon before letting out an otherworldly screech, marking the spot for the Demons...

Valroz followed Gnarl's screech, his platoon keeping close behind. When they arrived at the portal, Valroz growled, "So, they went in here?"

"Yes, Commander" the creature hissed simply. it's skin rippled as it's slimey flesh took on the colour of the canyon around it, before returning to it's old colours, the creature preparing itself to change colour should the need arise...

Valroz nodded and stepped through the portal, followed closely by his platoon. All the Demons looked around, taking in their surroundings.

Finally the two dragons made it, immediately they could see at the fortress was a number of humans along the towers armed in clad gold and bright ruby armour. Their armour was strange, like highly upgraded compared to humans in their world. There was also as Garroth saw, Elven Warriors and Archers among the humans. These stood as tall and their armour was different but same colour and meant to fit. The Elves were as tall as humans but stronger in terms of combat and a number of other things and their blood ran thick with magic. It appeared that the forces at the fortress took them as friendlies considering that they were all pointing and some even appeared to smile, others looked serious and simply stared. As Garroth came in closer he saw that the humans along the tower were armed with Longbows and Crossbows, but something told Garroth that these were not normal. Even the towers that surrounded the fortress didn't seem normal either, at the top of the fortress was some forms of light energy, generating beacons on each of the towers. There was 7 as far as Garroth could tell. "I think we are quite safe, whoever they are they take us as allies. Considering they haven't attacked us yet either." He said to Tranquillus.
"Yes, and it appears they want us in, they just opened the doors for us at the front." She said.
As Garroth looked down, he saw she was right. There were two massive doors, Garroth couldn't tell what material was holding the fortress together but it wasn't any slabs of stone at a castle, this was unique material that seemed to have a powerful feel to them as Garroth surveyed them for a minute. The two dragons walked through the massive doors to the sight a crowd awaiting them at the place. Everyone cheered them and it appeared that they had cleared to the sides to form an aisle to walk through. Garroth saw from newborn infants to old people and Elves, though the elves didn't look old, many had hair that went down to the back of their legs. All of the citizens were cheering. Towards the center of the area was a massive throne in gold with several crowns on it with one huge point going upward. Near the throne were statues of what Garroth thought were kings and other royals who previously existed and passed away. He looked back to the throne as the two walked on. And on the throne was a massive dragon, the same one Garroth had seen earlier. And it was looking directly at him. The dragon was sitting with it's tail coiled around on it's bottom like a cobra. With it's arms on the hands of the throne and it's claws were flexing at them. The dragon was the largest the two had seen other than Chronos. The dragon waited until the dragons came close enough to the throne and then raised its left claw up to silence the crowd. Immediately the two dragons bowed to the king. The king acknowledged this by nodding and then lifted his left claw in a fashion that meant "rise". The two rose immediately. Then the dragon spoke in what seemed a deep voice that was gentle but quite demanding as well. But mostly strong and firm. Garroth spoke first. "I am Garroth, Royal Green Dragon and loyal to my leader, Emperor Rufus." He said. The larger dragon nodded. "I sense that the Green Dragon is the son of Alairoth and Starroth, the two others that last came to our sacred lands." He said before turning to Tranquillus who almost seemed to tremble at the sight of the massive creature. "I do not know who you are but I would like to know more about you as well." Tranquillus then spoke. "I am Tranquillus, daughter to my father Grandarvam and my mother Villarius. I serve Emperor Chronos." The dragon then went from serious to a smile before raising his hands up high. "I welcome both, Garroth and Tranquillus to the Outlands!" He said as the crowd went into an uproar of joy. The two were relieved to not be hostile at least. The dragon then lowered his hands back to the hands of his throne. "I am Scarfradus, Sky Dragon of the West. My kind has ruled the Outlands and we also created the portals that allowed access from the other realms. This land was overun with the demon armies, but we built these huge fortresses as a resistance against the demons and as such have proven quite effective against them. Though a massive army might be able to overrun it, none have so far. We eradicated them from this land as well as the followers of the demon armies. You two will be safe here. I take it your father Garroth gave you a map. Indeed he was a good friend to me and that he raised you well. And I wish to learn about you too Tranquillus." Said Scarfradus, immediately the dragon uncoiled himself. His wings were folded behind him and using his tail, he slid across off the throne and onto a ground. Suprisingly the ground didn't shake at all from the creatures massive size. "Follow me." He said and the dragons followed behind. Garroth was relaxed now and saw Tranquillus was, she saw him looking at her and smiled back. Garroth gave a bit of a chuckle before focusing on the larger dragon...

Valroz and his troop stopped upon seeing the fortress his the distance. Cursing under his breath, Valroz turned to one of the Demons and growled, "Bring reinforcements! If those two are in there, we're going to be in for a fight..." The Demon nodded and turned, sprinting at supernatural speed back towards the portal.

"you FOOLS! YOU LOST THE BLACK ALARIEL?!" boomed the Demon Lord as the army kneeled before him, begging his forgiveness. "My Lord, We tried! that Black Dragon dove in to take the gem while the Balrogs occupied us! we couldn't get to it because of the Balrogs!". "YOU HAVE WINGS! BALROGS CAN BARELY GET OFF THE GROUND WITH THEIRS! YOU COULD'VE PURSUED THE DRAGON!" boomed the Demon Lord, waving a hand at the army, incinerating the lot of them as he closed his hands, their Demonic souls being crushed, finally being destroyed as Beliar clapped both hands together, a yellow flash of flames coming from between the two clawed, flaming, rotting palms...
