"My Lord! the Dragons have escaped!" hissed a Demon guard in a panicked voice. "So that's what the disturbance was...no matter...we'll recapture them soon. for now, i have other plans to attend to. who was on guard at the time?". "Rotmouth and Rocktongue, sir!" hissed the Demon. "Very well". the screeches of two demons could be heard tearing through the ears of everything in the Demonic realm as Beliar tortured them mentally, their insides twisting and reconfiguring themselves, their very bones breaking and reforming several times over until they were completely different creatures, their bones jutting out of places in the flesh, the black lava-like skin torn, bright yellow, fiery muscles showing beneath them as their musclemass was multiplied to several times their original state. "Ahhh....Hell Hounds....so much more helpful than those ridiculously incompetent sacks of tar hissed the Demon Lord as he stood to his full height, having increased in the last day, now 130 feet tall. "Satradus!" boomed the Demon Lord. in moments, a massive Demon, the largest among all Demons, and half Beliar's size, walked in, it's massive bat-like wings folding as it's balrog-like face glowed with flames, it's fangs made of flames, it's two forward-curved black horns pointing ahead of his face several feet. "Yes, my Lord?" snarled the Demon in a deep voice that could be compared to Beliar's itself. "I need to leave the Realm for a while. You are to act in my stead until i return...make SURE nothing goes wrong, and should anything happen, contact me immediately". "Yes, my Lord. as you wish" snarled the Demon as Beliar himself walked out onto the Balconey. he clapped his hands together, a shockwave fo flames coming from between the two palms, all damages caused repaired instantly. Beliar snarled, satisfied with the results, and leapt into the air, heading for the border of the Demonic Realm...

"I doubt they'll do it. in their eyes, you're still Stimeak's apprentice. seeing as Stimeak killed Vitae and is considered the killer of Drionach's mother, the former Silver Empress, you're marked with the same crimes and murderous danger as him. until someone proves otherwise. but either way, i doubt they'd trust you with THAT much power" hissed Inferno. "Even I, one who knows you as a friend, a close one at that, am afraid to say i can't hand over even a portion of the Alariel's power, or my own. simply because my responsibilities for my kind are too great" he growled, a note of regret in his voice...

"Of course, the actual performing of said actions would be when we needed it most, and of course the power would be returned to the Emperors after the strike against Beliar and his demons was finished..." Neltharion growled, shaking his head. "But your right...There may not be any hope of it ever happening right now..."

cormag awoke from a sudden sound. He jolted upright quickly and looked around...there was something odd however. Everything he saw looked blue. He slowly closed his eyes and reopened them... nothing changed. several times over he tried this, to finally realize that his eyes were not playing tricks on him. Another sound caught his attention and he turned his head to look over his shoulder. Seeing nothing he headed in the direction of the sound going deeper into the forest. Suddenly, His eyes picked up the outline of a large shape in the trees. He drew his sword which rang metalically in the silent darkness. He turned around but the shape was gone. Hmm..., he moved his gaze everywhere around him but there was nothing. Silence, no sound, just utter silence. Cormag turned back to head to the camp. Than there was a loud snap, and Cormag turned to face the creature that had returned, its hulking, grotesque form emerging from the forest into the clearing. cormag stepped back for he recognized the creature...an owlbear. cormag readied his blade as the beast screeched and lunged wiht its talons and beak, its speed surprising given its immense size. It swiped its taloned hand at Cormag slashing him across the arm and screeched. Cormag stumbled back gripping his bleeding arm, as the owlbear came ever closer but as it thought it was going to make its kill a rapid blur of metal swung across and slashed its chest, humming as it cleaved the air. The owlbear threw back his head and roared in pain before returning his gaze to Cormag who now stood, sword in an offensive position blood dripping off the end. The owlbear roared at Cormag and charged tackling him to the ground and then preparing to pin him down. As the beast was about to press down on top of him Cormag lifted the sword blad straight up which pierced the creature through the chest as it came down. Blood spurted out of the massive beast as it took in its last breaths. Cormag crawled out from beneath the dead weight of the large form and stared down at the carcass with no remorse before heading back to the camp...

It didn't take long for the two dragons to return back to the main area where the Green Dragon's main town was. It was a sight Garroth was relieved to see. As they got closer and finally landed, they noticed what that there were green dragon's on the move. Some stared and greeted Garroth due to his rank. He was quite well known amongst many of his own kind and though Tranquillus was a stranger among many, a number of them still accepted her as who she was. Garroth then began to see if he could find Rutus, he wondered how Borgus was fairing considering he left him to do what the emperor bidded...

the massive green Dragon soared towards his forest home, the clearing where his bed of stone and moss lay looking inviting after the exhausting events of the past two days. he landed in the center of it with a loud thud, some pebbles leaping from their place from the force of the impact. the corpses of imps and other demons still impaled on his stag-like horns, black blood painting the tips of the ivory, antler-like horns as the numerous corpses of Demons stared into nothingness, their eyes wide with shock and horror, their stare blank and soul-less. Rutus snarled as he lay down on his resting spot. before he went to sleep he'd get rid of the corpses...

Garroth noticed Borgus walking past and quickly stepped in front of his path. Borgus stepped back dumbfounded at the sight. His own Lance Commander stood there in front of him. He bowed to him. "It's good to see you again Borgus. How are you? How are the others?" He asked. "L-lance commander! I never thought I'd see you again, the rest of the group has missed you. We thought you were gone for good. What happened to you?" He hissed, noticing the wounds Garroth had. Garroth then remembered he hadn't had time to heal his wounds but that wasn't important at the moment. "Me and Tranquillus were captured by the demon lord Belliar himself. Yes, THE demon lord. We were tortured, but we were saved by someone the emperors might remember. One who was framed a year ago. How did it go with you taking over my job?" He said in a serious tone. Borgus smiled somewhat. "Rutus was fine, it was good you notified him of your absence. I've had fill in errands for him as well as keep an eye out to make sure no one spreads misfortune about him behind his back. Other than that I've been fine and so have the others." He replied. "Good because it's very urgent that I meet him. He needs to learn of my vicious ordeal, and I may be able to help him." He replied. Borgus shook his head. "You couldn't have come at an even better or worse time Commander. Rutus has just returned from his recent travel. But I doubt he will want to be disturbed. I'm sorry but you know how angry he becomes. And you need rest. You're in no condition to visit him at this moment. Do not worry, I will tell him of your return when I see him. It is wonderful to see you again Garroth." He replied. "Yes you too Borgus, I am glad to be back. But when I am done resting I will see Rutus, whether or not you have told him of my return." he hissed in a calm tone. Garroth knew it was better not to argue and so gave up, it was pointless. He would just have to wait, and it was getting to nightfall over the sky. Tranquillus was harmed just as bad as Garroth was and so he came up with an idea. "Tranquillus, you are in no condition to fly tonight, please, stay with me at my home in my tower roost." He hissed to her. Tranquillus smiled. "Garroth that's a very generous offer of you, but once tomorrow morning arrives, I must return to my kind to see how they are faring. I do not know where they are and as far as I can tell, I have not seen them at all since I came back." She replied. And together the two dragons took flight to Garroth's home...

"GRRRRRAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!" Valroz, having discovered the dragons' escape, was much angrier than than Beliar. His footsteps created plumes of fire and he stomped towards the pits, most other Demons giving him a wide berth. He stepped at the edge of the pit Garroth and Tranquillus were in and roared, "When I find you again, Garroth, I'll turn you into nothing but an insane, babbling, shell of a lizard for defying the Demonic Army! And that is a promise!"

Stimeak shook his head and growled "Before you do anything, you have to get their trust. Do me a favor, if they ever ask, say that I went insane and was planning to kill you too, they would love that" He grinned breifly before turning his ice blue gaze back to the sky above him.

"Your majesty. two Dragons, one green and another gold, are heading this way" hissed one of Rutus' guards. "Let them through but kill them if they try ANYTHING offensive" hissed the Emperor irritably. with a bow the guard backed away into the shadows...

Neltharion grinned, laughing slightly. "I knew it was going to take time to win their trust, and I plan to work for their trust." he growled simply. "For now...I think I'll wait until the next meeting to propose my plans to the others..."

Tyson was walking on the road when out of nowhere a group of bandits appeared in front of Tyson. "Look what we have here boys, kill him then take everything that is valuable from him" one of the bandits. Tyson took out his two daggers while three bandits lunged at him. The bandits each swung there sword at Tyson, but hedoged all three of there attacks and stabed one of the bandits in the heart.Tyson then in a blink of an eye killed the other two bandits. The rest of the bandits charged at him but Tyson sliced each one of them with his daggers killing everyone except the leader. "wait dont kill me I'm sorry" the bandit leader beged. Tyson took out his cross bow and shot an arrow right between the leaders eyes killing him instantly.

Garroth suddenly realized Rutus was close, he looked down. Quickly the two dragons landed in the clearing. There he was, quickly two of the guards moved away to let them through to the emperor on his throne. Quickly the two dragons bowed to Rutus. "Your majesty." Said Garroth. He only wondered of Rutus's reaction of when he learned of their capture and escape.

"ugh, What is it, Garroth?" snarled the Emperor as he shook his head, one of the Demons' corpses flying off of his antler-like horns and slamming into a tree, it's black blood painting the tree's back and starting to consume it...

Garroth stared at the corpse for a moment wondering how that happened and then spoke. "We were captured by the Demon Lord Belliar and tortured. We tried to flee but unfortunately were unsuccessful. One of his commanders tortured me with demon arrows. They took our mana away, making us useless to cast magic. However, Chronos met with us and replenished our mana before I "did some serious makeover" of the pits we were held at and quickly me and Tranquillus fled for a portal which brought us back here." He said. He doubted his wounds were obvious enough, burn marks going along his shoulders and legs as well as injuries from physical contact from Valroz still remained. But otherwise no limbs lost luckily. He could only imagine the anger Valroz had...

"Wait one moment....where did this happen? Where were you captured?" snarled Rutus to the Dragon...

"I still doubt they'll accept a suggestion like that. after all, it's safer for us to fight together against Beliar, as one, than to just give part of our power to another Emperor and hope he returns it. Afterall, we all know, the Emperors especially, that power is the greatest corruptor. that kept in mind, i doubt they'd ever agree with it" snarled Inferno, the flames in his hand leaping out and beginning to swirl around his form in a thin stream...

"Well sir...it was at the Outlands. I gave you a note informing my absence which is why Borgus took over for me. I was curious about whether the place existed and so we headed for it, using the map my father gave me. When we arrived, we saw a huge fortress and went to it to seek out advice, we found a sky dragon there who was the king of the fortress. However, no sooner were me and Tranquillus able to celebrate that we were..interuppted by the sighting of Belliar who must've somehow been spying on me, lord knows how. Well anyway a massive battle sufficed and unfortunately, the citizens of the fortress were forced to flee, they did the best they could to defend the fort from being invaded but Belliar's forces were too large to overwhelm. The sky dragon did his best to hold off Belliar but died a gruesome death in the process. Belliar himself came after us, and no matter what help we recieved along the way, it was not enough, Belliar took us to his world where a massive tower lies, it is his stronghold, he paralyzed us before handing us over to his commander Valroz who I have met before. Not only that but he took the map that was my father's. Though we were removed of paralysis shortly after our mana was drained, even if we had attempted to escape, I doubted that we would've gotten far. Me and Tranquillus however were thrown into the pits and tortured by Valroz with the demons taunting us. I thought we were going to die down there. However, all of a sudden we were teleported out of the pit to a realm where Chronos in the form of a sand dragon came. He replenished us of our mana before sending us back into the pit. I then caused massive overflow of the pits with my magic restored and the two flew into a portal nearby that miracously sent us back to here, our world." Hissed Garroth in a serious tone...

"But alone we are powerless, even when attacking Beliar all together. The concentrated power of all Arial Gems, magnifying the black gem's power, should be enough to rid the world of Beliar and his demons." Neltharion growled simply. "It does seem too much to ask, and I understand your concern. But surely you don't think I would be corrupted because of it, do you?" he hissed, raising a scaled eyebrow curiously.

Stimeak nodded and growled "Well there it is. Inferno has had alot more political training than me, so he knows best... You have alot of power in your hands now...." Neltharion had always been strong, but now when Stimeak looked at him, he was only just realiseing that his old apprentices gem could cripple him within a second. Stimeak no longer had an alariel gem... It was a strange sensation, he wasn't used to feeling less powerful than those around him.

"No creature is immune from corruption, Neltharion. Mortus had once been much like me, you or Stimeak. the power of the red Gem corrupted his mind, and that lead to him heading towards Stimeak, wanting the Silver Gem as well" growled Inferno. he had sensed when Fieras had decided to leave for the caves, having lost interest in the conversation, and chose then to speak of Mortus...

"The Outla...How much damage did Beliar do to the Outlands?" growled Rutus, now conscerned. what if Beliar had destroyed the realm? killed it?...

"Very true, and I have thought of that aswell..." Neltharion growled, grinning. "You see, it acts as a fail safe, if the holder needs to be stripped of his or her power, then the Emperors can take back their power, from any distance. Also it can be used to aid an Emperor if they are attacked before the gem's purpose is fullfilled, and then can be returned." he hissed. "I've thought of everything, Inferno, trust me." he hissed, laughing slightly.
