[Anaclagon]

"Lord Revan, we've driven them into the tunnels...I heavily recondmennd not to fire the main super lasers...should we use a nuke prehaps, we have a chance but as for the base itself..we need to see how deep the tunnels go before we make a choice" The commanding General responded as he sent a telegram towards the Annihilator.

Revan thought for a moment...the nuke would be powerful to seal of the tunnels and take them out and the only damage to his troops and fortress would only be descriped as an earthquake. This might be their only choice...Revan only regretted he did not use it earlier...

"General we have the go!" A nearby officer replied as a message was sent back from the Annihilator with the permission. As the nuke was being armed...the troops within the area began to move to higher ground..

The Arachnids were huddled in the main chamber of their fledgling hive, waiting out the soldiers above and expecting them to either ignore them, or try and attack.

[Anaclagon]

"Lord Revan...we've scanned the grounds...if we use the nuke and guide it into their main tunnel and denoate it, it should put them all out while limiting damage to our fortress.." The Grand Admiral replied.

"Fire the nuke.." Revan commanded as the Grand Admiral nodded and sent the message as it travled from the Annihilator into the base as the General nodded. The nuke was fired as the guided bomb travled through the tunnels...moving fast as it followed the scanners where it reached the main chamber where the radar detected the life forms..

The bomb entered the main chamber as it suddenly was denoated...

The explosion vaporized the remaining Arachnids in the tunnels, as a wall of flame exploded out of the entrances of the tunnels, effectively cleaning the planet of any infestation. Unfortunately, it was at a heavy price, as thousands of Imperial troops, and dozen of capital ships, had been killed or destroyed.

"Sir the nuke was a sucess, as for now...we could be assualted soon...reinforcements back from the main galaxy are heading as reinforcements. THe Super Star Destroyer Brawl is up and running...just needs an officer" The Grand admiral went on.

Revan just stayed quiet and focused on how they needed to restablish everything. Soon platforms armed with turbo lasers or proton torpedos where being established around the base as an extra means of defense. Anything that can salaved from the ruined ships was used for armor to reinforce and repair ships and space stations and their weapons added to the platforms.

The remains of the troops of the ground where off to be buried somewhere...they were given their proper funeral as the fortress now had to be larger and more reiforcred with weaponry. Mines were to be used both in space and on the ground...Semi Nukes had to be used...they had to make this Imperial base invinible..

A large cruiser appeared out of hyperspace near the Imperial fleet. Or what was left of it, at least. The hook-nosed ship's bridge held a tall cyborg, flanked by a pair of equally tall droids armed with long staffs that had electrified tips. The cyborg eyed the Imperial ships ahead for a moment, then spoke in a voice that was mechanical, yet oddly organic. "Send them a message." A shorter droid at one of the consoles nodded and pressed a switch, which sent a signal to the Imperial ships. The cyborg waited patiently for an answer by their leader, if he was still alive.

[Anaclagon]

"Unknown cruiser, permission to fire Lord Revan..." The Grand Admiral replied.

"Hold it...keep the fleet down, do not fire...yet" Revan replied as the grand admiral who was already deeply affected from the heavy losses from the battle earlier was not looking on towards the stress of another battle.

The Imperial Fleet along with the space stations, kept their weapons armed and ready, they did not want to risk another battle or losses again. Shipyards had been assembled, spare parts added to ships for armor and weapons and for the new ships. They still had the resources of the planet to add on towards ships and such.

"Dont you reconize that cruiser?" Revan asked towards the Grand Admiral. He should have fired at once but he had to know for sure...

"It cant...be...they've been wiped out a long time ago. The home galaxy is still under our complete control" The Grand Admiral replied.

"Prehaps unless they are still remains of them out into the unknown regions, its been years...they most likely built up their forces..send them a message, we acknowledge their presence and we demand to know who they are and their goal.." Revan commanded. The Grand Admiral nodded..

"Sir, they have replied," replied the droid at the console. "They would like to know who we are and what we want." The cyborg barked, "Tell them that I am general grievous, of the Trando-Geo Droid Alliance, and all I want from them is a little chat." The droid nodded, and relayed the message back to the Imperial ships.

[Anaclagon]

"Lord Revan...he...the commanding man claims to be General Grevious..." The Grand Admiral slowly responded. His eyes began to widen as every officer looked at each other...how was this even possible..

The Dark Lord of the Sith looked back out of the main window towards the small cruiser...The Annihilator still had its guns ready. At his order he could have fired at once but he needed to know more. The Dark Lord of the Sith thought to himself..

"Another confedercy...hmph, looks like they founded another alliance, stayed in the unknown reigons prehaps and built up their army again. Led by General Grevious, nows thats even more odd. Then again if they wanted to attack, they most likely would have came in a greater number...a chat, so thats the purpose.." Revan looked at the Grand Admiral as he nodded.

"This is the Annihilator, flagship of the Dark Lord of the Sith...Darth Revan...as for your chat...what do you want" The Grand Admiral asked.

Grievous looked through the viewscreen to Revan and replied, "I have a question: are you the leader of the Empire?"

[Anaclagon]

Revan this time replied..

"Yes, Im the Dark Lord of the Sith, Leader And ruler of the empire...Grevious right?...Tell me what are you doing here?" Revan responded. His face was seen little by many but his eyes where focused towards the viewscreen as he awaited the response arms folded..

The Grand Admiral looked at Revan..he was somehwhat worried, should Revan prehaps make another enemy, who knew what could happen..

Grievous nodded. "Yes, that is my name, and I have recently gathered forces to make a droid army." He looked out a nearby viewport, seeing the devastation the Arachnid attack had caused. "By the looks of it, you seem to need some help. Tell me, how many allies do you have?"

[Anaclagon]

"Help? I assure you, the Empire does not need help..." Revan paused for a moment. His anger and rage burning inside him...it was easier said then done. While the Imperials have domiance with their fleets, their ground forces were still hit very hard with deaths rising into new heights. Still even their fleet did suffer damage as well...this new "little" war was becoming something that was showing signs of weaknesses into the empire..

"But that was easier said then done...as of now we have no allies...is this what you came to ask for Droid...an alliance?" Revan pressed on with his answer which ended with his question.

Grievous leaned towards the viewscreen. "I... am not.. A DROID!" After a moment, he said more calmly, "Yes, I request an alliance. Look around you. Your fleet was decimated by bugs. And not very smart bugs, at that. I saw the whole thing."

[Anaclagon]

Revan looked at the Grand Admiral the response told it all. It sounded exactly like him...it was quite ammusing for a moment but they still had business to do.

"Well...it does sound like Grevious..." That was all The Adrmial responded.

"Prehaps it was heavily damaged but ships are being rebuild, stronger, defenses better then ever..Now tell me Grevious, how did you rebuild a droid army if there is any...what is your goal..." Revan said as he looked back towards the view point...

The last time he dealt with alliances...he lied to kill the man so he could avenge his men...would this Grevious do the same?

"My methods of gaining an army are none of your concern," replied Grievous gruffly. "However, my reason is this: those in the galaxy never helped my planet when it was in need. They never helped me before I was wounded. And for that, I must have my revenge. Only those who ally themselves with me will survive."

[Anaclagon]

"An interesting concept..however should we agree to our little alliance...I need to trust you..right general?" Revan responded, he stayed calm and focused..

"Of course," replied Grievous flatly, his orange eyes giving nothing away.

[Anaclagon]

"Then come on...how did you rebuild this droid army...you already know my story prehaps. My galaxy, my empire, I've entered what was known as the unknown regions which was in the outer rim of my empire and found this system...I've have entire galaxy heavily armed, under my command and I wish to expand my empire.." Revan said.

The Grand Admiral looked towards Revan...his mind filled with thoughts.

"Now tell me Grevious...whats your story, your goal.." Revan asked..

Grievous narrowed his eyes then said, "I had some allies of mine create this army. The Geonosians and my own race, the Trandoshans, assisted in creating it."
