"Now, Septimus. seeing as we have such a fine opportunity to see your defensive skills, i think we should make use of them" growled Inferno as he stood in the forest, having completely extinguished his fiery fin to avoid being spotted by the advancing Demons. Septimus made a grin that, for a few split seconds, seemed rather sinister for a dragon his age, as he growled "It'd be my pleasure". he raised his hand and pointed a finger at the leading Demon. suddenly, several tendrils burst from it's shoulder and it fell to the ground screeching as the tendrils grew, swinging around and wrapping around the necks of several of it's subordinates, breaking their necks and tossing them away as though they were nothing, the creature screeching in pain as a fireball shot at it from further back in the Demonic Army, the creature suddenly haulting all movement and turning to dust. Inferno stared at the source of the blast. a 5 fan-horned Demon at the back. "Stand behind me, Septimus" he growled. "But why? I'm doing fi-" "I said STAND BEHIND ME!" snarled Inferno more urgently, the younger Dragon complying. he watched the 5 horned Demon carefully. it was obviously the Leader of the group. it suddenly hurled a fireball at Inferno and Septimus' location. the fireball seemed to explode into nothingness about 50 feet from the forest, a transparent red barrier rippling slightly from the impact. "Return to my home, Septimus. i'll handle them" snarled Inferno through barred fangs. not wanting to argue with the Emperor, Septimus complied, turning tail and running, soon leaping into the air and flying off, making use of the White Dragons' naturally large wings to propell him forward at speeds no Demon could hope to match. as demonic arrows were fired at him the stopped dead, rebounding off the transparent red wall. the trees parted with an explosion of leaves as Inferno leapt upwards, spreading his wings, the shadow covering the entire Demonic Army. a loud snarl came from him as he stared at the Demons, some of which were actually cowering in fear, while others made sinister chuckles and slammed their swords against their shields. "Don't you lot ever give up?" snarled Inferno. "And what fun would that be, oh great, mighty Red Emperor?" hissed the Demon Commander mockingly. an explosion inches from it's feet formed, a pool of lava forming in it's place, Inferno's palm glowing red...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
