Most of the REXs unleashed their super-lasers, which plowed through the large shielded droids' shields, eventually destroying the droids themselves. The GEKKOs quickly picked off the smaller droids as their larger counterparts were destroyed, using their grenades to take down their shield. The RAYs continued to attack any large unit they came in contact with, some firing their remaining missles as they held the forces where they were...

The REXs near the troops crushed them underfoot, mowing hordes of them down with their machine guns, their super-lasers making quick work of the hover tanks. Soon they began holding that side aswell, stopping the enemy dead in their tracks with the aid of the RAVENs, who were attacking both fighters and ground units. One of the arial Metal Gears flew past a two legged mech, slicing its leg off as it passed, firing missles at another as it swerved back around.

Fleets of Vulture Droids, HMPs, Tri-Fighters, and Geonosian fighters chased down the RAVENs, their sheer numbers taking down quite a few. The army continued to press on, mowing down Metal Gears with intense ferocity. Most of the infantry and tank forces were decimated, leaving the Metal Gears as the main targets, and therefore causing even more to fall.

An explosion blew down the wall of Frank's HQ, as the Soulless One landed on the exposed ledge it created. His two guards sped out of the ship, electrosatffs at the ready, while grievous climbed out of the cockpit. The cyborg general looked around for his quarry...

As the AT-AT's closed in, their turbo lasers and laser cannons opened fire, their sheer ammount of fiire power fired on towards the enemy, blasting enemy units apart as other hover tanks used their main cannons towards Ravens..

As for the clone troopers they ran foward, they were now closing in on the city, opening fire at the enemy infantry as AT-ST's supported the clone troopers as TIE Fighters above continued to lend support...

Space repairment crews began to leave the Annihilator and began work towards the Super Star Destroyer, beginning their repairs. The Annihilator began to survey the battles below, now with the reinforcements, crews began to repair the Annihilator, scrambling. The break in the combat made their job easier..

Darth Revan, Dark Lord of the Sith watched the battles going on, arms folded. The enemy city was being attacked from all sorts of angles and while enemy defenses held on...who knew how long. They had to get a clear hold on the outskirts of the city and slowly advance...a break in the battle had to occur soon...everybody couldnt keep fighting forever.

Suddenly, black metalic soliders appeared infront of the enemy, some wielding swords while others wielded machine guns. "Stand down!" Frank commanded, walking past the elite soldiers. "So this must the cause of the mayhem. Do you enjoy sending your machines to the scrapheep?" Frank said calmly, smirking, unafraid. "You'll find that more so now...then ever." he said, glancing at the window as he laughed darkly.

Far from the battle, hundreds of Metal Gears, GEKKOs, and tanks were marching forward, reinforcements brought to the planet and, with the help of the jamming system, landed unnoticed, having to move on foot from a distance point where the massive ships had landed. These were the invasion forces, called back to aid their homeland. The swarms of RAVENs flew forward, attacking the enemy from behind before any of the ground reinforcements, slicing into the unaware machines as they ripped them apart with lasers and missles, their wings slicing into anything they touched. The groups of Metal Gears; RAYs, REXs, and GEKKOs, aswell as the tanks closed in from behind, boxing both forces between the city defense and the new threats...

"All according to plan..." Frank said absently, turning his attention back to the droid commander.

OOC: second last post of the night pce

"It seems reinforcements are required...have the fighers focus on the enemy reinforcements...as for the ground forces, push them through enemy defenses in the city and have them their rests there..." Revan replied. Time went by as officers did their job as they continued to monitor the battle..

General Veers recieved the order as TIE Fighters swooped in, blasting enemy forces down with their twiin laser cannons as the Imperial Ground Forces forced their way through the defenses through the city, taking cover as the two armies took poistions within the city, more focused on getting through...a third army would come as reinforcements to aid the droids and one of the imperial forces by going through the middle as they had support from Ventator Class Destroyers...these reinforcements however would have to wait.

"And you don't think I have reinforcements too?" replied Grievous.

Suddenly, five, enormous ships arrived, utilizing powerful jets underneath them. Two of them were simply massive cannons attached to ten scuttling, crab-like legs. They each fired a single, gigantic beam of yellow energy. These beams each passed through dozens of Metal Gears before stopping, leaving the vaporized hunks of metal behind. Their anti-personnel and anti-vehicular cannons surrounding their cannons defended them quite well. The other three were harbinger ships, which poured out hundreds of Ground Armored Tanks, which pounded the attacking forces with cannon and missile fire. The Harbingers also attacked with eight deadly laser Cannons, as well as specialized Turbolaser cannons on their noses. These hemispherical lumps fired eight, purple beams of energy, each of which would bore through a single Metal Gear's armor with frightening efficiency. This meant that the three ships together could take out two dozen Metal Gears in one go. All five behemoths also had thick armor rivalling that of a RAY.

Grievous chuckled. "Your world is doomed, you fool. And I will personally make sure you join the rest of your brave army. But know that I, General Grievous, am not without mercy. I will give you a warrior's death." He pulled out two Lightsabers, one in each claw. "Prepare!" His bodyguards activated their electrostaffs with a hum, and faced Frank's elite soldiers.

OOC: Anaclagon, there are GIANT MACHINES standing in the way of your troops, your acting like they are just walking in. Metal Gears can take more then a bit of laser fire from the ties, so there is no way they are in there. And, for the record, I have no intention of having my forces destroyed within the first few days they've been created, so there is no way they took the city, or are even IN it. And about when everyone leaves: If someone isn't online, don't continue attacking without them able to respond. Its noobish and annoying.

The RAVENs advanced on the 5 ships attacking them, their sharp wings and missles damaging the hard armor. The REXs and RAYs that were at the back also began pounding the ships, the constant firepower slowly damaging them, soon some were on the brink of being destroyed completely.

Frank readied himself, drawing his sword as he got into a defensive positon. His elite soldiers didn't move, not about to attack if the enemy's bodyguards stayed back aswell. They were told not to interfear, and they weren't about to...

Grievous leaped forward with surprising speed, landing directly in front of Frank. His foot came up, kicking the human in the gut and knocking him back. He swung his Lightsabers up, then down in a vicious overhead slash.

The Harbingers and Beam Cannons fired again, vaporizing even more of the reinforcing Metal Gears, while the GATs focused on the infantry and tanks.

Frank rolled out of the way, leaping to his feet as he swung his sword at the droid's stomach...

The Metal Gears pressed on, their constant firepower finally bringing down a ship, now focussing on the others, even as their numbers started to drop. The GEKKOs and tanks fought the smaller machines, begginning to destroy them aswell. They weren't nearly finished...

More Metal Gears fell, destroyed by the massive Beam Cannons. Several dozen RAVENs were shot out of the sky by the remaining Harbingers' Turbolasers.

Grievous jumped back, then slashed at Frank's blade with his Lightsbaer, only slightly surprised that it didn't cut through. He pushed against the blade, forcing Frank steadily backwards, as he raised his other Lightsaber...

The Metal Gears fought back, bringing down yet another ship as they continued their assualt...

Frank ducked down suddenly, sweeping the droid off of his feet as he slashed downward....

The Beam Cannons and single harbinger continued firing relentlessly, their weapons tearing through the Metal Gears like tissue paper.

Grievous' clawed foot grabbed Frank's leg throwing him to the side like a rag doll. Climbing to his feet, the cyborg general stood ready, waiting for his enemy to rise.

The Metal Gears continued their assualt, the ships slowly being destroyed from the firepower. Another ship fell as the rest were weakened, the GEKKOs and tanks attacking the smaller machines even still, slowly gaining an advantage...

Frank lept to his feet, darting forward as he ducked down, swinging his sword up at the droid's arm.

Grievous twisted to the side, letting the sword swing up and miss. While he was exposed, Grievous elbowed Frank's gut knocking him backwards, before swinging his Lightsaber horizantally in an attempt to slice the human in two.

The two remaining ships were the Beam Cannons, which fired yet again, vaporizing the front ranks of the Metal Gears, giving them time to charge up another shot before the Metal Gears attacked again.

Frank dove to one side, hooking his foot on the droid's leg, pulling him down with him. Frank got to his feet first, swinging his sword down at the droid's head.

More Metal Gears arrived as another ship landed and unloaded its troops, replacing those who were lost, the ship being the last ship from the invasion force. With the new firepower, the massive amount of machines tore apart the last remaining ships, focussing on the smaller machines after the last ship fell...

The remaining droid soldiers decided now was the best time to retreat. Dropships picked up the remaining soldiers, heading back into space and back to the fleet waiting above.

One of Grievous' arms split in two, and the bottom arm grabbed Frank's sword wrist. "Surprise," he snarled, before tossing him to the side and into the wall. His arm reattached back to his other one, going to back into his usual two-armed mode. He turned to his bodyguards and barked, "Kill them! I'll handle this one." The two battle droids ran forward, thrusting their electrostaffs into the machine gun-wielding soldiers' throats, killing them instantly.

One of the elites ran forward, shoving its sword through one of the bodyguard droid's head. Another one attacked from behind, slicing off one of the droid's arms before ramming its blade into its chest.

Frank grunted, running forward as he kicked the droid's chest, swinging his sword at his chest as the droid stumbled back.

The droid bodyguard exploded, taking out one of the elite as it did so. the second droid swung its electrostaff at the second elite, stabbing him in the back.

Grievous leaped up and over Frank, landing behind him. He spun, whipping out his two other arms and pulling out another pair of lightsabers. "Let's end this," he growled.

Suddenly a group of soldiers burst into the room, aiming their guns at the two droids. "I beg to differ. Your forces are nothing but scrap metal, I have no need to continue fighting you." Frank said calmly, sheathing his sword as he headed calmly into another room. The soldiers opened fire, filled the body guard droid with bullets, aswell as firing at the droid commander.

Grievous swiftly deflected the rounds fired at him, though his bodyguard wasn't so lucky. He growled, "We'll finish out little duel at a later date, then." With that, he sprinted past the soldiers--making sure to cut a couple down on the way--and leaped into his ship's cockpit. The craft lifted off and, with a rumble, blasted back into space. "Revan, pull your forces out of there. We have to retreat, for now," said Grievous into his com.
