Arachnid Warriors were spreading throughout the colony station, killing anyone who was unfortunate enough to get in the way. They were busily searching for any remaining humans to kill, steadily tracking them down.

The chestburster was now looking far more like an adult xeno than it had a few hours ago. It's legs were lengthening as were it's arms and tail. It now had inner jaws and once it was an adult, it would be black instead of the color of human skin. A predalien that was in the hive opened it's jaws and yawned, having just woken up from a brief rest.

A massive silvery machine rolled out of the back of the frigate, it's 8 massive wheels crushing the ground below. the vehicle charged forward, heading for the capital. Aragren was on board, along with Kage and the Diplomat that was assigned the position of Ambassador to Ka' Roll...

"Be careful! this is the only sample we have!" said the professor as a large forklift-like machine moved a large container carrying a spore into the laboratory, putting the container down gently in one of the corners of the containment room, before reversing out, the scientists in charge of the facility planning to examine it soon, placing it on the top priority list in their schedule...

The spore continued to exude pheromones, which spread through the air and into the planet's atmosphere, before heading out into deep space, for Klendathu.

Kepe reappeared later at the detention station and met with the Field General once more.
"Now...where were we? I believe you were asking me a question before we were interuppted, do remind me please?" he asked. The human as far as his concern was going to be in for a lot of torture. But not yet, he needed question answered and sometimes he didn't like to torture prisoners...except for the Brutes of course...

"Our little war...what started it, I'm interesting in knowing..." The field general replied. He felt no fear...he would stay strong and stay loyal still, the Elites...they would prove to be quite persistant considering they were in war.

Kepe knew then it was better now to hold off on the torture. The human meant no harm to him right now and he doubted that torture would do much. He had seen their troops, they had not felt pain when their plasma weapons burned them or when their energy swords cut them down. Something was very mysterious about those troops and he was going to find out...but he knew he had to answer the human's question first. Kepe let out a sigh.
"It will be a long account I admit but I feel you deserve to know, regardless of ally or enemy. This doesn't mean I trust you but you should know how it happened, between humans. 20 years ago, before we even met you Imperials, we, the Sangheili, once known as the Covenant Elites were apart of a huge alliance of alien species from other systems and planets known as the Covenant, lead by the Shan'mee or Prophets. We met with our first humans on a planet called Harvest. We offered them a peace treaty but the Prophets denied this for reasons unknown and made us go into war against them. The humans had no chance against our might, though they were a fierce race with most weapons and armaments somewhat successful, it wasn't enough to stop Harvest from being destroyed. Eventually we continued onward, destroying more colonized planets belonging to the humans. That was until they were down to the last few planets. One point, the humans managed to steal some of our technology and use it to manufacture powerful armour and had humans become genetically enhanced that were called, Spartans. The Spartans were strong, equal to us in combat and in all different forms. However, whilst most of the Spartans were stationed on a planet called Reach, we glassed it, destroying all but one which escaped. We pressed onward however until we finally reached their planet...Earth, their last hope. What happened with the Spartan was that he and the fleet was from landed on an ancient forerunner..."ring world" called Halo. There are now 6 of these floating around the galaxy, capable of expelling all sentient life. That spartan destroyed one of those rings and in doing so destroyed an entire covenant fleet in one go. Later, the so-called Spartan attacked our forces on another Halo and killed one of 3 High Prophets of the Covenant. Not only that but newer species were being introduced into the alliance, one of which was the Jiralhanae, they had been in our alliance already but only as a shadow you might say. They were now being brought into our military ranks. The Prophets even had the Brutes become our Honor Guards and so our Honor Guards were no more and forced into military ranks....that was until the High Prophet, Truth is his name, announced a genocide of us. Our Council was almost murdered in which I at the time rallied up those I could save and escaped from the Prophets homeworld like all other Elites called High Charity. Since then, Truth was killed by the Sangheili Fleet that chased him across Earth where Truth planned on escaping to a place where he could activate all of the rings and forged an alliance with the humans there. He had a belief that if the rings were activated that we would be able to gtravel into the next afterlife. Truth was silenced and his fleet and in conclusion our fleet had won."
Now that Kepe had finished talking he awaited for the human to reply. He hadn't explained all what had happened but it was more than enough...

The Arachnid spore had snuck in closer, seemingly a tiny meteorite. It was scanning the main Sangeili ship, sending any data it had collected, visually or otherwise, to one of the many Brain Bugs on Klendathu...

Three marican soilders moved along quietly, stopping near a large steel door. Screeches from the arachnids could be heard in the room beyond. The squad leader, wearing a mark IV Gladiator suit, said quietly to his comrades via his helmet. "Scope, how does it look?" A man wearing a purple tinted Panther suit knelt down slightly. A small cylindrical laser type device slid out of the side of his helmet and he replied "Sh*t..... Very bad... " A small window of view from Scope helmet slid across the other squad member's huds. Allowing them to see what he saw. The entire hallway beyond to the shuttle bay was completely full of bugs... The leader said again "Fu*k.. Squad 2? " Another voice replied "Makeing our way towards hallway, should be there in a few seconds..." Massive explosions ripped through the station, destroying the calm atmosphere and sending the bugs into a frenzy. Screams shouted over the radio and one voice over the open channel was shouting "Fu--- In the control room! Someone shoot i------- Take this is bast------------I said no! Stop! You'll kill us a-" Another explosion rocked the station, causeing the steel walls to buckle. A robotic voice said in a surreal drone through the intercom "Station anchor loose... Repairs required on anchor"

The squad leader glanced at scope, saying something through his helmet, Scope ducked down, drawing a large rifle from his back, blue coolant flowing down the length of the barrel. On Scopes hud, a green wireframe view of the door faded away to reveal the room beyond, a small red dot as his aiming cursor. He made some quick adjustments, cocked the fireing chamber of the railgun and then pulled the trigger. With a blue spiral, the massive slug tore through the door, ripping through an arachnids head and then slamming into the floor, sticking into it with its end sticking into the air. The Arachnids screamed in anger, scuttleing towards it. The squad leader shouted "Blow the charge! Go Go Go!" The slug exploded, engulfing most of the arachnids and blowing them around the room, creating a massive hole in the floor. The three soilders kicked the door down and ran through, suits glowing red with extra power. The leaders agile gladiator suit dodged out of the way of an arachnids mandibile and he leapt into the air, effortlessly sailing over the arachnid while unloading buckshot rounds into the back of its head, the flesh shredding bullets tearing the beasts head to peices. It was ultimate chaos. arachnids everywhere. The explosion had cleared a gap through the center but there was still hundreads of bugs in the room. The panther equiped marican ran foreward, railgun slung over his back. He dodged to the side, drawing his knife from its wrist holster and spinning, ripping the dark blade through the arachnids thigh, sliceing the leg off. He kicked off the downed monsters head, backflipping over another arachnid before kicking a third right into the face. It was slow progress, but the arachnids weren't suited to scuttling across the metal floors.

With a second explosion, a door was flung across the room, crushing an already injured arachnid. Out of the smoke, a single Conquerer class warrior strided out. The massively armoured suit glinting in the light, the green visor line across the helmet glowing dangerously. The warrior raised his arm, a round of buckshot blasting out of his wrist and into an arachnid, blowing it across the room. Another line charged foreward towards the hulking suit. A tiny gattleing gun barrel under the mans other arm begun spinning, the mini gun built into his fore arm. The barrel lit up, a high pitched ringing throught out the room as the deadly line of tracers flashed out, tearing the aliens into peices. Hoseing the lot of them down. Then, in an act that looked almost impossible for such a heavily built suit, the warrior leapt into the air, landing into a crouch behind the arachnids, cracks appearing in the floor around his feet. He swung around, bullets flying out of the minigun, slamming into the aliens and drawing up clouds of blood. Another arachnid lunged from behind, however he merely grabing its nose, forceing it into the floor, his powerful grip crushing its jaw. A round of buckshot blasted out of his wrist, shredding the fallen arachnid. More of the bugs swarmed around the warrior. He couldn't last much longer, but his diversion had already lasted long enough. The other squad had made it out towards the shuttle, but this warrior had a score to settle.

The tip of a green blade appeared out of his wrist next to the shot gun, but it wasn't a knife. A full sword shot out, the marican catching it into his hand. Its green blade winking in the light malevolently. He spun around, smashing the blade home right through the middle of an arachnid, cutting the top of its head off and killing it. He switched it to back hand and tore down wards, impaleing a second alien through the head. Useing it as an anchor, he vaulted into the air onto its head, twirling around the blade, spraying bullets from his mini gun into the crowd of aliens. He pulled the blade out, spinning in a full 360, his sword slaughtering the ring of aliens around him. He sprung into the air, catching onto a bar near the roof before kicking off it and landing into a roll near the exit. He turned around, backing away as more aliens flowed into the room. The mini gun stopped fireing and the barrel slid back up into its container. A new weapon unlocking at its side. He jerked his hand downwards, the end of a tube slideing out above his wrist. He rose his arm into the air and a long telescopic tube fell down, about the length of his arm. He flicked a small oval out from his utility belt and slid it into the tube. The Conquerer class Marican war fighter aimed the missile launcher into the the crowd of aliens and clicked his thumb onto the red button on his index finger. flames roared out of the back of the launcher and the sphere poped out the front of the tube, an engine at the back of it. Fins folded out and the rocket soared foreward, crashing right into the lead arachnid, the explosion blowing the hallway to bits. The arachnids were incinerated, the blast wave ripping past the warrior, bits of alien rolling past him and debris flashing over his shoulders.

The warrior calmly turned, walking away from the wrecked hallway toward the shuttle bay. They may have been taken by suprise, but they were still Maricans... The shuttle containing 4 soilders managed to take off safely, flying away from the doomed war coloney... Heads would roll because of this.

Yet again, the Arachnids had planned this attack. A small, almost microscopic mosquito-like insect had stowed aboard the Marican fighter. It sat on a wall, calmly watching the 4 Marican soldiers. It was busily releasing pheromones. They were capable of slipping through even the most miniscule of cracks, and escaped the ship, out into space. Yet another wealth of information--and prey--to show the Brain Bugs...

"So they are other galaxies outside of ours...interesting story. Now these rings...these rings if they still exsit, that still makes anybody or anything capable of using them as weapons or at least use them for this so called massive annihilation....regardless, what of these enemies of yours, are they still alive?" The Field General responded...at least he wasnt getting toruted yet still the Elite had created quite an ammusing story. One worth telling...

Due to complications the battle invasion plans were still be delayed. Prehaps they could have searched for the Field General but his status was currently unknown. While the massive Annihilator, the 30 mile long flagship did stood poised, ready to deploy with its ship of the line elite Class II Imperial Star Destroyers. For a while however, while the Empire's outline border prevented enemies from sneaking and other Executor Class Super Star Destroyers to control imporant sectors, the 501st was moved back to the capital for a short time where it was ready to deploy at Revan's command.

The Dark Lord of the Sith himself stood in the Annihilator's bridge, eager for news but the invasion plans were almost to be halted for a long time considering conditions. They needed the proper and correct way of contining their war to prevent pointless losses...

The Arachnid spore zipped closer to the Sangheili ship, its miniscule size not registering on the ship's sensors. After scanning the hull with the optical receptors on the outside of the spore, it emitted a pheromone signature that dissipated the shields around it just long enough to slip inside and attach to the hull. Once again, its size paid off as it used a quartet of retractable tendrils, whose pointed tips carefully drilled into the ships hull without it being alerted as a hull breach (nothing of the size of the new holes could even be sucked out of the ship, with the exception of a tiny amount of air). Attaching the front end of the spore to the hull, it drilled through silently, vacuum-sealed. The end of the spore, now exposed to the inside of the ship, opened, letting a mosquito-like bug to buzz out...

The shuttle flew into the blackness of space... heading for a nearby active War production coloney.... They would have to move fast to catch it, it was in the process of moving closer to the imperial invaded regions...

Ark'aran shot foreward towards the scientists. Swooping down and smacking one of his engines off a mans forehead, blowing him over unconcious. He arced into the air, prepareing for a second assault. Just before he commited himself to the dive, he saw one of the remaining men pull out a weapon. Ar'aran immeidiately retreated, zipping away down a different corridor, it seemed that these aliens didn't have any qualms about killing him...

Nearly an hour later, the drone was still exploreing the lab, trying to find any possible escape route... There was nothing.... He was begining to think they had trapped him completely... Just then he managed to intercept a radio message "I'm sorry doctor, it killed him. I have no choice. Activate the sentry guns and bots... Shoot the fu**er down..."
Ark'aran didn't need any more notice than that. He zipped into the closest room and hid inside a cuboard, useing his mandibles to open the door.

The Recon Bug watched the console carefully, noticing the coordinates of their location. It immediately sent another cloud of pheromones out of the ship. The next attack leading to Maricas' invasion was about to begin...

"These rings are what allowed an alliance between the Sangheili and Shan'yuum to prosper. These rings require a special artifact, they cannot simply be activated by the push of a button. This artifact is contained beneath a vast structure that is well guarded by machines and the parasite. The Brutes are still alive only the rest of their forces remain on their homeplanet. Now that I have finished talking, it's your turn." Said Kepe, now he awaited the Field Generals' turn to talk...

The Recon Bug passed by the Sangheili brig in time to hear the conversation. It stopped, listening closely to what this "Your's" turn was all about.

the large Transport vehicle rolled to a hault at the entrance to the City. massive stone walls greeted them. everywhere they looked, they could see various creatures moving around. Koultians, as well as numerous others. a particular group of creatures that appeared to be balloons in space suits caught Aragren's eyes. "My my...life comes in all sorts of ridiculous shapes and sizes". they rolled into the city, going through the large entrance, heading straight. "So this is the Capital of Ka' Roll...the capital of the Koultian world" said Aragren as he looked around. "Straight ahead is the Koultian Capital Building" said Kage as they headed onward, passing the crowd of onlookers...

With a loud thump, a teenage Koultian landed heavily onto the Venturer, running across it bare foot, brown tunic rippleing in the breeze. Another young Koultian landed behind him, the pair leaping off over the street and landing onto a small white walled resturant, the owner losing interest in the massive APC and starting to shout at the kids. After this, most of the shoppers and city goers went back to what they were doing. The street had been quiet when the venturer approached, now it was chaos yet again. A long rectangular hover platform cruised along out of a side road, slowing down and connecting up with a stair case leading up above the road. Its glass roof opened up and small ramp extended down to the stair case. People streamed out, a few aliens with them. The more physically adept Koultians simply leapt out off the open top hover platform, landing onto the street below, earning an angered shout from the driver. A pink fruit colided with the resturant owners head, thrown by one of the teens on the roof. The massive APC already forgoten in the excitement of every day life.

Yet another Recon Bug, sent by Klendathu, was busily tracking the captured spore's pheromones. It planned on following the Vardians straight back to their home planet, and start up a full-blown invasion as quickly as possible...

On the partially molten planet of Gorta, the supreme Xordian leader held a conferance with the military leader, financial adviser, eviromental expert and representative of the people. The the leader began "Well, our foes have been vanquished and we have more ore to satasfy our needs, but the matter of our planet presses in on us, for pretty soon we cannot live here." The military leader replyed "Why dont we start a colonization mission on Ka roll?" The enviromental expert jumped in "we rely heavily on fossil fuels, which is why the climate crisis has gotten so bad that the planet is melting in upon it's self. if we take this to Ka roll, a planet which such rich atmosphere would hold the heat in and this entire crisis would simply start again. The military leader suggested "Why dont we build biospheres on planets and moons around our planet, then when they are vomplete, we can evacuate the population to these and then restart Xordian history a new?" The leader nodded at this proposal and looked at the rest, who seemed to agree. "We start building immidiately."
