Stimeak fell backwards into a dive, easily avoiding the firey missile. He leveled out and bellowed "Well that was unfortunate. At least you came close to hiting me there." He conjured up another lightning ball in his hand, the blue spirals flowing down the length of his arm once more, light glowing from within his closed fist....

Ancalagon flew over his foe as he looked down at him, snarling. This was getting annoying...He was starting to think how to attack his foe next...each time he attempted a close range to range fight, his foe would him with long range attacks and all of his ranged attacks were countered...

As Garroth settled down on more of the flesh of the deer, a familiar force entered his mind. His eyes looked up.
"Father..."
The force settled over his mind gently.
Garroth, how are you? I know it's a bit early to be contacting you but I felt the need to do so."
"Everything's fine father. I must admit though, Morian certainly knows of a good way to introduce tresspassers."
Alairoth didn't say a word for a moment then, realizing that his son had gained safety in the Purple Dragon's territory. Then his voice returned, amused.
"Indeed, the Purple Dragons fog that enshrouds their territory can destroy the minds of even the best dragons unless they know certain magic around it, but only Emperors could harness such power and I would advise against it. Now that it seems you have been granted safe passage, what has happened so far?"
"Well upon arriving, I met with an illusion, it was myself. I saw my own self, only he wasn't as...'smart' but then I suppose it's all part of the illusion and my own self certainly didn't try and attack me. I don't doubt the mist either, it could easily consume armies. But anyway, my own self followed me down the mountain I had landed on to get a good view of my surroundings. I then saw a Purple Dragon for the first time. He was a younger male but a friendly one, he quickly removed the illusion which to my suprise I never knew the Purple Dragons actually 'controlled' illusions made up by the mist and I thought the mist created them on its own, like the mist is a living creature itself, but I don't know much at all so I won't jump to conclusions yet until I learn more. Other than that the Purple Dragon said he would lead me to Morian. As we flew on I was dragged under the mist once more but this time by the Emperor herself. She and I talked and as it turns out she is a very friendly being. So I asked her about the demonic army chasing me which I may say that I am way ahead of them. She said she could easily deal with the army if they attempted to enter the mist, so in other words, I'm very much safe for now. But I can't get my hopes up. Where I am now, is a misty forest inhabited with the Elves who have a town not too far away and the forest has Fauns and Centaurs roaming about so I need to avoid those three races as best I can. It appears the Purple Dragons have recently forged an uneasy alliance with the 3 races and that if I were to see me, it could really cause chaos. But there is deer along with a number of large clearings for resting at as well as a nice river that runs through these parts." Garroth said.
Alairoth waited for him to finish and now that he had he spoke again.
"I see....though you might have some 'conflict' with the forest dwellers, I know you'd keep out of their sights. My advice is explore the areas you can but keep out of the areas that you aren't allowed to go to. Other than this I do not know of any other advice to give you. I know that we don't spend much time together son but know that I'm always able to contact you in your mind."
"Of course father. I do miss you somewhat but considering of what has happened to me, I'm actually excited. I've travelled quite far to have seen 4 emperors. I didn't even know a thing about the purple dragons other than they could read minds in which they can without my knowledge. I at least know the demons are off my back for now and that Valroz will just go whinge and whine to Belliar about it. So yes, I am having quite the adventure. But I know that I still need to warn other nations of Belliar's quest. Still, I need to stay as long as I can until the demon army gives up hunting me."
"That would be my best option as well if I was in your position, but do not make the purple dragons see ignorance in you or you might just turn out as an enemy to them."
"That's understandable. But how are things holding up back home father?"
"Well....let's just say it was a very long conversation but yes, we stopped our resistance. But I won't forget the fact that you have been banished. But I do see that we need our dragonflight to remain together as one. We may soon be going to war though. Rutus so far has said nothing and we are becoming concerned that we may not defeat the demonic empire later. A war is coming Garroth and right now, you are one of the few who is smacked into the middle of it. My other advice is learn to master more of your magic, you know as well as I do it is going to serve you well in the near future."
"Well I'd rather not risk it in the case that I might destroy the forest here, I don't want to be reviving kilometres of forestry and have Elves, Centaurs and Fauns hunting me down. But I'll see what I can do. It's good to know though that our nation is at ease for the time being."
"Garroth, just be careful, though Valroz might give up for now, if he suspects something, he may chase you. If he does fight you alone, you might have a chance but Demon Commanders are never, EVER to be taken lightly, that much I know. And considering he has known you for that long, he is very much determined to torture the life out of you seeing as you escaped his clutches once. Do not even give him that chance. I doubt Belliar will want to chase you now that he has what wants in his possession. My map, the one I made....Garroth, just be prepared for the worst. All of us of the Green Dragonflight are supporting you and we hope you do return."
Garroth seemed even more relieved now.
"Father, it gives me very positive thoughts knowing that. Thank you. I must now tend to my first kill in a long while. I am glad to have talked with you again father."
"May the stars watch over you my son. Farewell."
Alairoth's force then drifted slowly away from Garroth's mind. Garroth now feeling much better looked down at the carcass and went back to eating, thinking of his homeland, the things he missed. But also of what he would do during his time here...

Stimeak smirked, satisfied with his foes silence. He growled calmly "Shall we talk? Or just continue untill you are nothing more than splattered remains infront of your allies." The energy flowing into his hand started spilling over, spiraling towards his other now closed fist. If Anaclagon tried to attack, he was in for some serious damage.

"Whats there to talk about...my business lies in the destruction off lands that serve no purpose to you. Now this is your last chance...Leave" Anaclagon replied, hissing violently and firecly as looked towards his foes. His hellish eyes pointed dead foward as he prepared to strike back..

Stimeaks expression changed in an instant to one of passiveness. He growled "Alright then." He pointed his fist at a snow capped mountain in the distance, too far away to see any detail on it. A huge shockwave rippled out of stimeaks fist as the lightning bolt blasted forth, arcing electricty burning through the air around it. The beam faded away, leaving a trail of white mist, a massive cloud of dust aand rock riseing into the air from the mountain in the distance, the peak having been completely obliterated. Stimeak rose higher, flying away without a further glance at the Demons. There were most likely going to die anyway, between here and the Industrailists main territory lay a barrier of mountains which even he avoided in fear of what was said to live there...

"That was too easy..." A dragon approached him, one of the larger, more powerful dragons within the dragon fleet.

"It is...we stay on the mountain, send out scouts...they go in pairs and find ways around...I refuse to fall too some trap.." Ancalagon snarled back as the dragon who was just talking to him nodded and began to bark the orders. The rest of them turned back towards the mountain to wait...

as the darkness of the sky returned to normal, the beating of wings could be heard behind Septimus. he craned his neck back, spotting the massive Emperor flying towards him, a smoldering hole in the ground a distance away. "Bloody hell Inferno....Overkill, much?" growled Septimus, Inferno chuckling as he flew up to him. "I was in a vicious mood. they've annoyed me for too long" growled the Emperor with a mischievous grin. Septimus shook his head. "And there i was thinking i was the young one here. you're just an overgrown juvenile!" he growled with a snicker. "Hey, would you preffer i was dull and droning like some of the other Emperors? imagine me acting like Chronos?" he growled. Septimus chuckled. "Good point. it doesn't suit you...it's just that....the thought of an actually playful Emperor is well....odd. you'd think Emperors would be extremely serious, have no sense of humour and are too busy sorting out one thing or another. you're the polar opposite" he snorted. "Perhaps that's why my opinion isn't always agreed with by everyone. but, Emperor or not, life's short. you should enjoy it" growled Inferno. suddenly a fiery Serpent emerged from within the Alariel gem, hissing "Your Majesty, as much as i hate to interrupt your conversation, i think you should know that Emperor Drionach is at the Red Imperial home, and wishes to speak with you over something". Inferno sighed. "The busy life of an Emperor....if you're not having a meeting with one important figure or another, you're gratuitously destroying an enemy of some sort" he growled, gaining a chuckle from Septimus. the Fire Serpent grinned before bowing. "Wasn't it you who once said "my main goal in life is to protect and serve the Red Realm, and to eliminate all threats to it and it's allies"? i could swear i once heard you say that". Inferno shrugged. "True, but still...you'd think an Emperor would have a chance to get some rest every once in a while" he growled. "You? with all due respect, your majesty, you've got plenty of rest compared to me!" hissed Slytherius, now truely joining in on the conversation. "Well you're ancient even by Chronos' standards. you've been awake for more time than i've LIVED! i wouldn't be surprised if the amount of time you've rested also applies to that. besides, you're always sitting in that Gem! you don't even have to FLY anywhere!" growled Inferno in is defense. "Your majesty, until you try inter-gem travel, you'll never have any idea how much energy i exert to do what i do" hissed Slytherius. "And what is it you do exactly, visit friends among the other Guardians and talk? and what's the point? where's the exertion in that?" growled Inferno. "I also have to try and keep with you AND with them at the same time, so i have constant communication with them as well as you. but that's besides the point. main thing is, the life of an Emperor is easy compared to an Alariel Guardian" hissed Slytherius. Inferno shrugged. "If you say so, i suppose" he growled before looking at Septimus, away from Slytherius and pulling a "yeah right" face, making Septimus chuckle. "It's best we return home. it's not really respectful to keep guests waiting" growled Inferno as he moved forward, his powerful wings propelling him towards his home at high speed, Septimus barely keeping up. "Hey Inferno! slow down, will you?! i can't keep up!" snarled Septimus as he struggled to keep up with the Emperor, who only slowed himself slightly, wanting to get the younger Dragon used to the idea of moving fast and strengthen his wing muscles a bit...

Drionach scraped one of his claws off the floor, ice filling the grove made before quickly melting from the heat.... He sighed, shakeing his head. Shimmer wing raised his head before growling "Drionach, Here he comes..." Drionach looked up and hissed "Great... What did you do with feather face?" He smirked and hissed "Froze her to a tree back where we landed, I doubt any of the indigenous creatures of this area have ever even heard of ice before... So no chance in them running off with her." The Silver emperor grunted in satisfaction and hissed "Good job..."

Garroth began to wonder how Tranquillus was faring. To his realization she hadn't contacted him. That meant one thing: she was moving on. Garroth smiled. He knew quite well that such a union between them two would've resulted in them being exiled to some faraway land without any form of contact with any of their own species. Garroth knew this and suddenly realized he didn't feel so bad for leaving Tranquillus, dumping her. It had been a good move, though it was a cruel thing, it had to be done. He had finally let go and moved on. He was suprised how quick he had let go. Still he mainly hoped that Tranquillus would find a mate of her own kind and be happy. Though he was still friends with the Gold dragon and nothing would ever change that. He decided then it was a good time to make mind contact with Tranquillus. He quickly felt for her mind and found it before settling a gentle force on it that was warm and familiar to the Gold dragon.
"Tranquillus, it's me." He said.
"Oh...Garroth...Hi. Said the Gold Dragon in a hesitant voice.
"How are you holding up? Has Chronos forgiven you along with the Gold Dragons?"
"So far I've had some come to comfort me but most still ignore me, as far as Chronos goes, I haven't heard anything from him. I'm guessing he's still watching out for Valroz outside. So I think that I'm beginning to be accepted once more. What about you?"
"Well I'm in purple dragon's realm and safe. The Purple dragons are certainly masterful mind readers, especially their leader Morian. Still, I am out of the demon army's way for now. Later I will see if I can go to Morian or another Purple Dragon and ask them about the demon armies, I want to know all I can about them. It appears that Belliar once came here and was almost slain but escaped barely. Anyway, I am safe for now."
"That's good to know Garroth."
There was now an uncomfortable silence. Quickly Garroth spoke again.
"Tranquillus, I'm sorry that we cannot be together. I know it must've hurt you, especially after what we've been through. I just want you to know that, we are still friends and nothing will ever change that."
"Of course Garroth. I have thought about it as well and I agree that this may have been the only way in the end. I must now go. But I bid you good luck and that we may win this battle." She replied in a more pleasant voice.
"Farewell then Tranquillus." said Garroth before removing himself from her mind and then drawing his attention back to his surroundings. He then continued to eat the remains of the deer...

the slow, steady beating of giant wings could be heard through the air for hundreds of meters as the Red Emperor glided towards his home, spotting the Silver Emperor standing on the large stone platform he used as a kickoff point. he glided inwards, the White Prince behind him, the two Dragons hovering over the platform, Inferno landing with a low thud as he closed his wings, Septimus doing likewise, before walking up to stand by his mentor. "Welcome to my Realm, Drionach. what brings you here?" growled Inferno with a grin, Septimus standing behind him, staring at the Silver Emperor curiously. up till now, he had only ever been in the company of two Emperors; his father, and Inferno. It was his first time seeing the Silver Emperor...

Drionach smiled, growling "Greetings Inferno, just the need to talk with you over a few matters, both relevant and petty..." Shimmer wing nodded in greeting to the Red Emperor, both dragons ignoreing Septimus's presence. Both out of being polite, as the dragon hadn't been introduced, but also out of reluctance. Drionach held the white dragons in very low esteem since Vitaes death. They had done nothing but fight over the place of emperor, many of Vitaes family having already killed each other... Only one emperor had taken Vitaes place since. He was assassinated by a rival within a week... He hissed "If you don't mind, I would like to remain outside... I'm not exactly at home in the heat of a volcano...."

Inferno chuckled before growling "It's not really that bad. it's not like we're sitting in the middle of a real volcano. but, your choice. Oh, by the way, may i introduce Prince Septimus of the Whites, son of Vitae. I was recently assigned the task to take him under my wing, teach him what he needed to know as an Emperor, and how best to lead them, should he choose to do so. His magic truely is worthy of his father's name. but of course, the best way to gain what he needs to learn is to be taught without unwanted influence, as i'm sure you know well about regarding the White Dragons' current state of unease". Septimus gave a faint nod, uncomfortable about the atmosphere that had been brought on by the two Dragons, which gave him the feeling he wasn't even slightly respected, or perhaps that he disgusted them somehow. one way or another, they didn't seem to see him for who he was, the son of an old friend, but rather, as part of a race whose ruling family now slaughtered itself over who was to take control of the Flight...

Drionach nodded, looking towards Septimus and growling with a slight bow "Greetings Septimus, I am Drionach, Emperor of the Silver Dragonflight. This is Shimmerwing, my right hand..." Shimmerwing bowed aswell, growling in an unearthly tone "Greetings, Prince..." Drionach decided to get straight to buisness, not bothering to play about in finding a suitable location to talk, he knew of Infernos hate for formalitys. He hissed "The main reason I wanted to speak to you alone, is the result of a personal little adventure of mine recently... In which I recovered.. this..." He held up his right clawed hand... A small ring glowing with silverish energies on the middle claw... The ring itself was pure silver, blue gems dotting around it with a silver falcons head sticking out of the center, its eyes glowing a deep blue... He waited for Infernos response before continueing....

Septimus grinned, returning the bow, secretly thanking Inferno for bringing him at least a bit of attention. "Hmmm..." growled Inferno, examining the ring carefully, recognising the energy circling the ring as Alariel energy. "I see you're recovered the Gem" he growled, horned eyebrows raised, impressed...

Drionach nodded, unable to surpress a smirk. He growled "Indeed... It was locked with in an ice vault in the Frozen Spire... A strange enough place for it... Virtually Unguarded... But that isn't why I came to you specifically... Shimmerwing..?" Shimmerwing reached to his side, closeing his claws around something and lifting it foreward... Holding it by the base... it was Mortus's skull... Drionach hissed "I believe this... relic... could be of some sentimental value to you and more considerably, your mate..." He waited to explain how he found it, knowing that it would most likely be Infernos next question.

He lowered his head in a short moment of respect for his dead mentor, even though he loathed him by the time he died, before looking up. "It's been a while since i found that skull. i had decided to leave it at it's resting place when i found it. in fact..." he growled as he reached a hand forward, taking the skull and swiftly flipping it, revealing a fire-shaped rune within with 5 dots in a star formation around the rune, all of which were glowing a fiery orange, etched into the roof of the brain case. "The Flammus Maxim Rune...the Suicide spell used by Reds and Fire Dragons. the only thing that ever survives that spell is the skull, as all the magical energy is pumped from the brain into the rest of the body in massive quantities, causing it to explode in a massive fiery blast. i even remember seeing a massive scorch mark where i found it". Septimus stared at the massive skull, which was probably nearly one and a half times the size of Inferno's...

Routes were found across the mountains...but something else was too happen. Ancalagon would split his forces...half along with him would go over the mountain. The others would go right and left around the mountain and they would regroup at a certain point, decimating enemy forces. This intended to seperate and weaken defenses as they pushed further into the kingdom. With a ear splitting, demonic roar...Ancalagon and his half took to the skies, flying high above into the air as the other dragons roared in return as they splitted up and pressed on, dividing as orders. The roars echoed for miles and miles...the Industrilist were bound to here it but to stop on what was being intended..Ancalagon the Black had no intention on allowing his enemies win again.

A vast shadow...was moving

Drionach arched a scaley brow before hissing "Well, I found it within a cave underneath the Spire itself... It was on top of a blouder, carried by the looks of it, with the words "Ol Skully" etched into the rock above it.... The place showed signs of recent Habitation... By who, I think I know exactly... That is supposed to be where Stimeak, a silver white crossbreed, rogue, banished by the Council of storms and apparenty, freind of yours... was liveing up untill his... meeting with Vitae.of occasions.." He wasn't sure how Inferno would react. his account on where he found the skull was odd. He didn't go into more detail about Vitae, eyeing Septimus.

a pair of pure blood red eyes opened as the creature detected intruders on the mountain range. Demons...Demon Dragons...What annoying pests they are thought the gargantuan creature as it moved, the entire mountain range shaking with the force of it's roar, chilling to the bones and horrifying to even the bravest of souls...

Inferno raised an eyebrow in surprise, before growling "Well, Mortus was found dead somewhere between the Spire and the mountain range north of it. if anything, i'd say either Furianas had nearly killed him, driving him to commit suicide, or he and Stimeak had fought and he had decided to attempt to take Stimeak's life with his own. in either case, it's past events. though i'll hand it to Stimeak. he has a very disturbing sense of humour. I think it would be best to have the skull placed somewhere within the caverns as a final resting place. a grave". after a moment of thought, he growled "...It still puzzles me as to what Mortus was doing that night". then, after a few moments of thought, he growled "Drionach...where exactly did you say you found the gem again?"
