Desh's eyes opened gently to the sight of a smoke filled sky. He turned his head to get a better look but otherwise could not move. He looked toward his feet on saw he was bound in chains. Sh*t, he let his head fall back down on the concrete. What the hell happened, the sight of the wrecked helicopters and the dead bodies startling and puzzling him all at once. Suddenly, he felt a surge of pain. Argh, what the f*ck. His body began to shift against his will as every feature of his form began taking on its feral, wolf form. He roared in agony as his muscles and body expanded and strained under the tight chains. He continued to shift form the chains scraping against one antoher until suddenly, they shattered on him.

ARHHWOOOOOOOO!, his agonizing roars becoming a great howl. He reached for and grabbed his head realizing only vaguely this unwilling happening and tried to force himself to shift back. For a long moments he staggerd side to side and all around the wreckages until finally he obtained control of himself. Slowly he began shifting back. Every lupine feature dimishing and returning to normal. But just as the transformation was complete he collapsed unconscious yet again.

"Ah damn..dont you hear that?" Jaden asked. The sounds of a werewolf from outside was getting quite clear..

Fitz continued towards the door, not really concerned with the howls. He said "Chances are its Desh beating the stuffing out of those swat dudes..." He found the door and pulled it open, looking up the stair case and continueing up it....

"Wouldn't count on it," Diana said. She knew the sounds of pain and rage as if she was born to hear them, which she nearly was. She had grown up knowing those sounds and she wouldn't forget them so easily.

Fitz finally reached the surface, looking out across the scene of destruction infront of him... letting out a low whistle as he observed the burning wreckage....

"Where the hell is Desh..." Jaden asked as he glanced around. He had his vision again and his eyes would adjust in a few moments but it bothered him that this damage and destruction was done by something..

Diana was the last to surface. She looked around with a quizzical look. "What a dump," she said nudging a piece of rubble with her foot.

Fitz walked foreward, stepping casually over a flameing peice of the helicopters engine and said "My guess is that it was either Desh, or that thing that wants to eat Desh. If its the former, then Desh is probably on a rampage somewhere in the city, if its the latter, then he is probably still fighting it."

"If Desh had gone off or is dead..then we are on our own.." Jaden replied as he glanced around, his vision had adjusted and the fact he could see again was a good thing..still the destruction here was made by something large and powerful...something that was either Desh or that other.

Fitz turned to his comrades and said "Well, you two have any idea where we can hide? The sun is going to be up soon, and I don't know about you Diana, but me and Trix are nothing but ash if that thing so much as winks at us...." He was getting seriously worried. Usually someone else was there to remember the sun for him, this was the first time he was awake during twilight... and it scared the hell out of him....

Diana looked at the two and smiled. "Well, I've got the place, but you two are going to have to look inconspicuous," she said and started off at a fast trot. "I live in a small apartment above a bar, don't judge me, it's perfect though, cause no one is awake there and there are absolutely no windows."

"You guys go ahead..I'm gonna stay for a bit and check out the area.." Jaden replied, he bent down looking at the ground looking for tracks but this made no sense. Desh just disappeared and unless he foolishly went after that creature, he was wasting time but he needed to understand somethings first..like what exactly is after them in the first place.

Fitz shruged and said hurriedly "Fine, cya later..." He took off after Diana, wanting to get to this bar of hers as quick as he could....

Desh's eyes opened slightly and he peered around just laying on the ground. He then put up his arm and braced it against the burnt concrete and tried to lift himself up. Finding himself to weak to lift up. All he could do was hope the others were safe and looking for him...

With a horrible sinking feeling, Fitz looked up to see the sky brightening. He hissed towards Diana "How far is it? we have an hour max before sunrise, and then we are utterly screwed."

"Whatever it was..it seemed there was only one but no Desh..damn, can somebody like me and those vampires along with Desh be able to take out this thing..we need more. There is nothing like it.." Jaden thought as sighed as he looked at the night sky. He was getting tired..but he did not trust sleeping with some vampires, he should just head on back towards one of the nearby hideouts and relax and arm himself all over again for big prey.

Diana opened the door to her room and sighed. "It isn't much, but it's home," she said simply. The walls' paint was peeling as the well as the ceiling. Some of her clothes were strewn on the floor and so were multiple glasses. "Sorry about the mess I don't usually expect to have company."
