"This is far from a regular occurance. it's the nature of it that's called for me to intervene personally. but most of the actions and moves made by our forces follow pre-planned responses, though that doesn't limit our reactions in other situations. i had my position sent to the nearest Vardian Armed Forces Outpost, along with the order for the starcraft, so they sent me a vehicle to get me where i needed to go to meet the starcraft. as simple as that" said Serephir. the craft had left the Vardian atmosphere, speeding it's way toward Berunai's moon...

"So, you're just about prepared for everything, then?" asked Chardossk. He looked out the viewport, trying to spy Berunai's moon when they got close enough.

"We try to be. that's the only way we could hope to survive, if the Universe is as dangerous as we expect it may be" said Serephir...

"Even something like an orbital bombardment?" hissed Chardossk. "Or even a planet-destroying superweapon? The Empire used to have one of those."

"Orbital Bombardments can, in most cases, be countered with the defenses we have. as for Planet Destroying Super Weapons, depending on their power, we may be able to lessen the extent of it, perhaps reducing it to the point of damaging the surface of the planet if we have enough warning that it's coming, and, if not, retaliate with our own. that's probably the one thing we expected to eventually be used against us, that we have armed ourselves with. we expected alot of things both within and beyond our knowledge, but of all of them, that's probably the one really dangerous one which we've also put at our disposal as a precaution" said Serephir...

"How could you reduce the damage to that?" Chardossk asked excitedly. "We might need something to defend ourselves, and if you know what it is, the Empire's superweapons won't stand a chance!"

"Well, it's not being implimented yet as far as i've head, but last i was told, the Vardian Homeland Defensive Technology Development section of the Ministry of Science was working on a new kind of advanced shielding. for now, they're working on it for Planetary Defense purposes as a counter for something of similar power to our Super Weapon, as we're expecting many other Factions may have similarly devastating power. if we can find an efficient, fairly economic way to impliment it, we may apply it to the major ships in our fleet" said Serephir...

"A planetary shield, eh?" hissed Chardossk thoughtfully. "Sounds like a plan. As long as it doesn't get sabotaged, or simply run out of power..."

The Ambusher dissappeared off sensors, fadeing into the distance on its journey to the sectors war coloney. It was about 6 parasecs away, one of the outter defence posts in the marican Sphere. Due to the Maricans minimilistic approach to expansion, they only controlled around 6 planets directly. Around these was a 40 parasec diamater defence zone. Any hostiles within this zone were immeidiately attacked, which was where the Ambusher fought the Imperials....

Mal'Ganis was now dressed in a leather vest and a dirty old trench coat, which was a dull gray color, having bought the cheapest clothes he could find. He was currently sitting in a small cafe, sipping a drink before continuing his meal, which was a small plate of pasta. Finishing his dish, Mal'Ganis wondered what else the planet offered, not able to leave until the ship was repaired. For now, he needed to search for a seller of ammunition, and maybe some protection from laser attacks, the loose leather vest not exactly the best defense...

"Seriously, how the f*ck are we gonna get something as big as that giant battle station to blow up planets? with that size..it'll be impossible to secretly get it through but dont get me wrong, with that firepower, we got reasons to say we perhaps we got the most powerful thing in the unverse' the trooper stated with a slight chuckle..with the battle having died down, things were calm...a bit.

"We still got other weapons, you know..we strive for a stronger military everyday. Imagine the day when were useless and all that has to happen is the planet to surredner or get destroyed..imagine that?" The other trooper stated.

"Hey, look out..officer on the deck!" The two troopers quickly got back into their standard, standing positons as Admiral Piett walked on through the bridge, nodding towards the two.

"My Lord..we have gathered data, it seems there are several defense planets in the area, we of course got into one of their off limit areas and attacked accordingly. I doubt the Jedi would risk danger heading into one of the planets but instead, fled elsewhere.." Piett stated, having gathered information.

The Dark Lord of the Sith watched as the Tartans had moved swiftly and began to rescue troopers and equipment in the damaged destroyer. So far, they were safe at the moment. "It will be too risky to use the battle station on them..we'll proceed to burn their worlds but as of now, focus on securing the area..we're intruders, chances are retailation will come swiftly" Revan ordered. If a counter attack was to happen..things had to be sorted out first..

The small fleet of Star Destroyers stay anchored in space with the obvious gigantic Annihilator leading them, just a few more moments before actual orders were to be put in action..

Back in the Marican war Coloney, the sectors resource manager was leaning back in his chair, feet up on his table, giant old fashioned fan blowing cool air into his face. Random country music playing on the radio behind him. The stations computer piped up "Commander! Hate to bother you, but we are in a bit of a pickle! Remember those intruders I told you about? The imperials, well I have just recieved word from our Ambusher Lbx-20. According to Lbx... our information was infact wrong and needs to be updated! Lbx-20 acted on the assumption that a dissabled ship would be left to die, which was not the case! Infact, quite a large ship turned up and ran him out of the sector! would you believe it, eh? Anywho, Lbx has updated the files, correcting that little mistake and advising caution, but also has provided a wealth of technical data about Imperial ships and their specifications. Even more data was accuired about enemy controlled planets, which there are quite a few of I might add, and where they are located. I'll say more on that in a minute" The resource manager mumbled "Oh whoopie... I'll look foreward to it... So what happened with this Ambusher? Have the rescue teams cleared out?"

The computer exclaimed joyessly "Oh noooo Commander, definately not. Thats the second thing I wanted to talk to you about! By the looks of it, they want to stick around, and not just for the views! If I wasn't very much mistaken I would say they are preparing to go further into our restricted zone of movement, which won't bode very well I can tell you, as the Imperials are marked as hostile at the moment..."

The resource commander took a drink out of his water and smoothed his hair back, saying boredly "Great... I suppose you also want to tell me that the minds have once again eaten up all of our Drone resources so we I will have to organise an actual defensive strike?" The computer answered happily "Wrong my freind! The Minds have been rather quietl recently and most of the Drones are just sitting there waiting to do some defending! Infact There is a hive containing 4 cruisers maybe half a parasec from here and two battleships are returning from an intercept mission in the bi-andono quadrant! They all look ready for action and even we could even pull in a few Longbows or Harbringers from the garrison on Algara"

The resource manager, examined his nails and said "Good... Good... Send out a commadant aswell, just to make sure the Harbringers dont jump the gun and start obliterateing things left and right before its all done"

The Computer said cheerfully "Of Course! Well thats all Commander! See you later!" and the audio system cut off.

The resource manager grumbled irriately and pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket and scribbled "Tasks for Engineers:
Get the god damn comfort control system reactivated! Its like a sauna in here!

Oh, and for whoever it was that set the computer to 'Annoying Jackass' mode will you PLEASE set it back to the default attitude? I don't even care who it was. I just want you to know that it is not funny anymore. I swear to god, if I hear that ba***** chatting away like a retarded gnome one more time I'll set the Sentinals on caution mode.

Footnote: Oh and guys? don't think I didn't unearth that little plot to feed in Yaka-yaka jackie songs into the PA system... if It happens again i'll retract all personal use of the system.

"The data that was stolen from us was information on specifications on the Imperial Class Star Destroyers and locations about colonies, their more then well defended, I dont recall numerous invasion attempts against us so its something we shouldnt really worry about.." The Admiral stated.

"As powerful as they have served the Empire, we need Star Dreadnoughts to lead the battles here..we have several new classes that havent been revealed yet, this opportunity sounds perfect for them to make their debut..what of the Tartans?" Revan then asked.

"We've managed to grab what remained of the crew, some small thousand..many were killed when the ship was attacked, more were killed when they infilitrated..the wounded had no chance once the power went out. Backup generators were reduced dead, the guys that survived just barely made it" Piett responded.

"Prepare for combat...I want two fleets mobolized on the two closest enemy planets, have them prepared..intiate Base Delta Zero as soon as the enemy fleet has been decimated.." Revan ordered.

There hasnt been a true offical debut for the solar generators that were given to the empire. Wtih several being used to strength the Annihilator along with multiple upgardes..things were bound to be very interesting as well as the debut for the new Star Dreadnoughts that were to be mobolized in the second team..

OOC: As of this post I will be updating a technology section of my profile post, turning it from a wall of text to a gargantuan mountain of words

All over that Quadrant of the Marican Sphere, Drones readjusted their course, pulling around and making for Algara, a small trading post near the war colony calling them to action. Algara's own Commodant even activated, they almost mythical machine rising into the quiet planet's sky.... Its engines activated and it blasted into the atmosphere to join its brethern. The Commodant was a rarer from of Marican reaction, only sent to counter respected foes....

The gigantic Annihilator warship stayed achored, several one mile long Star Destroyers continued to move around the main flagship. The two fleets that were being prepared were almost ready as this sudden action was rather quick and it took a while for Imperial Command to acess the situation but as typical..the Empire was ready for war..countless ships ready to hyperspace into action.

"We''ll attack targets here..and here. Operation: "Smackdown" will commerence on my order and my order only..the operation is simple..should things do not go according into plan, fall back but only when the green light is given.." Revan ordered, his commands being given to all ships that were being prepared for battle..

"Well, it's not fully implimented yet to my knowledge, but the initial base Shield has about 35 massive generators powering it at various points on the planet, built into gargantuan underground facilities meant to power it, all of them fully insulated so as not to allow any trace of the energy to leave the facilities, for military and civil reasons. the initial plan is to have it made up of three layers"...

Mal'Ganis suddenly looked up into the sky, a sudden feeling of dread filling his senses, as if something bad was about to happen. Shuddering from the feeling, the jedi now wore a bullet and weak laser proof vest under his leather clothing, having restocked on ammunition as well. He had met with an Inn keeper, who agreed to let him stay in one of their rooms, knowing he would have to remain on this planet for a few days to allow the gunship to be repaired. For now, he sat in his small room, laying on the bed with all of his battle gear still on, closing his eyes to rest for the moment...

Akiba snorted as he awoke, looking around crazily, thinking they were under attack. Falling off his bed, he quickly jumped to his feet, hurrying around his room to get ready...

OOC: The commodant.. http://img255.imageshack.us/my.php?image=commodantif0.png

The Commodant zipped towards the Imperial fleet, far ahead of the rest of the Drones, all stealth systems deactivted and broadcasting a universally recognised peace signal, the drone slowed as it approached the enemies estimated firing range....

"My Lord we got contact..its emitting some sort of...peace..signal?..should we..?" The Grand Admiral looked towards Revan, they werent sure what to do. They could have begun firing at once but then again, they did not. Something they may regret to in the future. The Dark Lord of the Sith narrowed his eyes from the view port of the Annihilator. "Have the guns bear on that targer but do not fire..send a message, ask it what it wants, if any sign of hostlity is shown, fire at once" Revan ordered.

Piett nodded and swallowed as he watched on. The Annihilator kept its guns focused towards the odd thing that was approaching them yet did not fire..curious to see what this thing wanted..they were at war and the the sign is was showing seemed more like a trick..
