Supernatural Supremecy RPG

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

Well there is a positive side...after all you knocked me down. Desh chuckled... but it still disturbed him. Clearly Biotech though wiped out in this country, was capable of doing more than surgical changes to the diffrent types of supernaturals. It was no longer a case of grafting... now it seemed there was a serum.

"He said he was doing it for me, probably to get closer to you," Diana said. "I didn't know about it until sometime after you left, when you did I thought I'd go back to where it all started, at Siete's mansion where I ran into Thanatos and got him out of his alcoholic slump, then I ran into Nyx then we met others, of course..." she said. She continued to tell him about Drieg, Ray, and Cassie, about Nyx's and Thanatos' crushes. About fighting off demons, meeting Drake, Velkor, and Wisp, until she finally made it to Siete's death and their current mission. "Now we have Zerenski and Lilith to worry about."

Desh had listened to the story in perfect silence, as if in a trance. When Diana had finished Desh remained silent in thought until, Unless trouble managed to follow me here... it already did in New York. He knew, those vile creatures lusted for power and were drawn to the most abundant source of physical mental and emotioal strength, one reason why they rarely got distracted from him... he had always been stronger in a combination of all three aspects. But now there were others, Drake, true Desh hadnt seen him in action but one thing is for sure is that Drake was like an iron wall. The way he stood the way he walked, even his voice gave it away. He was a candidate for attack. Velkor seemed like another, being a demon he must have great strength in any of those. But now Diana, being stronger than before when he last saw her, Desh's greatest concern was for her. He lowered his head with eyes shut as he continued thinking, shuddering as he did before.

Velkor passed by Diana's room, then stopped. "Meh, why not..." He slid the coin he had found under her door, shouting, "Free money!" Then walked off. Wisp looked confused. "Why'd you do that?" "I had a bad feeling about the thing. Don't ask me why." "So you gave it to Diana instead?" "Well, yeah, duh. Shouldn't you be watching TV or something?" "I got a better idea!" The Demon swooped past her older brother, into his room. Shrugging, Velkor followed...

Diana leaned back and smiled at Desh. "But enough about me, what of you?" she asked and ignored Velkor's comment. "You've certainly changed, if it weren't for your scent I never would've guessed."

Spencer walked into the room, seeing Drake with Nyx. he sighed. he didn't want to break the news of Brimstone to him while he was at peace like this. he decided he'd wait till his informant had arrived with more information before mentioning it. a faint whisper in his mind let him know that very informant had arrived. he walked out the door, closing it behind him, heading back for the cove...

Something...terrible...has happened. The demon...it keeps this...information from you... a voice whispered in Drake's mind, once again acting like his own thoughts. Thel'zan could feel the demon's emotions about the situation...it was too good of a chance not to exploit it...

Dalvengyr stood on the roof of yet another broken down building, only two stories tall. The elder demon's wings were folded on his back, looking down below as animalistic demons darted through the streets. The demons were blind...they relied on smell and hearing alone. They were the size of adult lions, crawling alone the ground on long arms and legs, with pale, featureless skin somewhat human-like in texture. They were skilled climbers, relying on ambush tactics to take down prey. Such demons were one of the most beastal of his kind...but that in itself made them frighteningly capable killers...

Desh sighed and then hesitantly proceeded to tell his story. Everything from when he went to Mexico and was found in the middle of the desert. To when he met the werewolves, he even proceeded to describe in detail the bloodlusting Daemonas. He went on to the mass genocide of innocent humans led by Alex, to his meeting with the strange tribe in the jungle where he was taught by an old man. From there he tried to to recall and tell what happened when he was a slave in the mines. Including the punishments he recieved as well as when the pendant was taken from him. He then explained the great battle that allowed them to escape, followed by the duel with Alex resulting in the rival werewolf's death, and then how Desh himself was pierced through the stomach by the daemona armblades and how the last thing he saw was the raging waters of the falls. Finally he finished up with how he had awoken on the beach went to the church and soon after meeting Korso. He however refrained from mentioning the chemical rages that he had been experiencing as he sighed relaxing after the hour or so of telling his story. ...And then with Korso i began making my way back to New York, where i met some friend of yours... Nick and Vincent?

Diana sat up at that. "More aquaintentances," she said. "But your story sounds familiar, bits and pieces of it." She started to rub her temples in frustration. "I've been having dreams and I think I was you, I was seeing things from your point of view."

Drake was somewhat bewildered by the thought that entered his head. it was like a sudden thought that had just struck him, almost unnaturally compared to what he was thinking just before that point. though when he thought about it, Spencer did seem a bit quiet. then again, he was ALWAYS quiet. after a bit of thought, he shrugged it off, discarding it as the effect of his recently overly paranoid mindset after the failure to defeat Zerenski...

Nyx sighed and slid smoothly into Drake's lap. "What's up?" she asked when she saw his confused look.

Thanatos laid on his bed and glared at the wall. He sighed then sat up and slung his guitar on his shoulder:
Watch my life pass me by,
in my rearview mirror.
Pictures fro-zen in time
are becoming clearer.
I don't want to waste another day,
stuck in the shadow of my mistake.

'Cause I want you
and I feel you,
crawling underneath my skin.
Like a hunger, like a burning
to find the place I've never been.
Now I'm broken and I'm fading.
I'm half the man I thought I would be.
But you can have what's left of me.

Thanatos was abruptly cut off as Velkor and Wisp marched down the hallway, singing their own song:

A little bunny in the meadow,
Is nibbling grass without a care.
He's so delightful as he hops for you.
You say, "Hi, bunny,"
And he stops for you.
You pull your trigger,
And he drops for you!
Goodbye, bunny-boo,
Hello, rabbit stew!

Get me, Wisp?
(You tell 'em, boss!)

Don't be the bunny,
Don't be the stew,
Don't be the dinner,
You have better things to do!
It ain't no joke,
That's why it's funny!
So take your cue,
Don't be the bunny.
Don't be the bunny!

(But Velkor, we're talking about humans, not animals!) Humans are animals, Wisp. (Animals with huge incisors and big, floppy feet?) Look closely, you'll see them. I do. I see them... everywhere!

A little bunny at a toll booth,
He needs a measly fifty cents.
Our little bunny didn't plan ahead.
Poor bunny simply hasn't got the bread.
He begs for mercy, but gets jail instead!
Hasenpfeffer's in the air,
As the bunny gets the chair!

See the moral, buddy? (Clear as day, boss!)

Don't be the bunny,
Don't be the dope!
Don't be the loser,
You're much better than that, Wisp!
You're born to pow'r,
You're in the money!
Advice to you... (In re: the bunny!)
Don't be the bunny!

(Wait, a little bunny at a toll booth?) You heard me. (But Velkor, bunnies don't drive cars!) Oh ho, don't they? (No, actually I don't think they do!) Live long enough Wisp, and you'll see... many things.

A little bunny in a shoe box,
He thinks he's found a brand new home.
So snug and cozy on your closet floor!
Now what's that bunny in my closet for?
With a mallet and some clippers,
You find out: new bunny slippers!

Grasp the message, sis? (Clear as day, boss!)

(Velkor and Wisp)
Don't be the bunny,
Don't be the shoe,
You don't get stepped on -

(Velkor)
No, the one who steps is you!

You're stepping up,
To where it's sunny,
Step on the poor!
Don't be the bunny!
Don't be the bunny!
Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah!

After a short pause, Velkor looked around. "Huh, no one else must've heard of that musical but us..."

Drake was taken somewhat by surprise by Nyx's sudden move. "Oh, nothing much. just a random odd thought. what about you?" he asked as he put an arm around Nyx's waist...

Spencer was now entering the cove, the pair of gleaming red eyes once again staring down at him from the rock. it leapt down and bowed slightly. "So what've you found out?" asked Spencer. "It was Kagan, Boss. Kagan's da one who destroyed Brimstone. singlehandedly, at dat. he tore dem apart like fuckin' tissue paper den burnt da place. apparently he interrogated da Director about somethin. didn't manage to find out what" responded the ugly, gnarly, thorny creature. "Damn.....what about the city? what's going on?" asked Spencer. "Well, i can tell ya dis: da big fishes in dis game are both like you in alot of ways. one's called Vinditto i tink, da other one's Mephisto" said the creature. "I see.....Mephisto and Vinditto....been a while since i heard those names...and?" said Spencer...

Meanwhile, a Great Horned Owl landed on a windowsill next to Velkor, seperated from him by a window. it stared at them with wide eyes, pecking against the glass, as if wanting to get in for something...

Velkor eyed the owl curiously, then smirked, "Hey Wisp, looks like someone enjoyed our performance." Wisp poked her head through the glass and stared at the owl curiously, asking, "You wanna come inside?"

Nyx nodded. "Nothing really," she said. "I just wanted to be closer to you."

Thanatos strummed a few notes, but didn't conitinue as tears welled up in his eyes.

the owl tilted it's head slightly, staring at Wisp wide eyed, poking her with it's barely visible beak and then continuing to peck at the glass, wanting them to open the window...

Wisp rubbed her nose, then muttered, "I guess that's a yes..." She pulled back inside, then opened the window, while Velkor watched cautiously, in case the owl turned out to be something worse than it looked...

the owl hopped in, landing on Velkor's shoulder, cocking it's head as it looked at Wisp, preening some of it's feathers...

"Hey, you won't hear me complaining" said Drake with a smirk as he brought his other hand and stroked her hair gently, admiring it for a bit...

"...De assassins i told ya about last time are regroupin' apparently. I aint got no info on what dey plan ta do next, but i know it ain't gonna be pretty" said the ugly looking demon. "That's good enough, Selvin. keep an eye out on the Vampire lords. if they do anything major, i wanna know" responded Spencer. "No problem, Boss" responded Selvin, before disappearing in a flare of flame. Spencer thought over the current events...this was gonna be a bit of a blow to Drake...

Wisp grinned ecstatically. "We gotta pet now! Like, like, Harry Potter!" Velkor sighed and glanced at the owl. "Now look what you've done. She won't shut up for the rest of the night now..."
