"Alright the area is clear, mines can be activated. If anything makes it through, finish it off along with second tier" The command ship gave the order. The gigantic flagship of the Courscant Home Defense Fleet was none other then a Executor Class Star Dreadnought known as the Guardian. A fitting name for a ship whose primary goal was to guard Courscant and had done so many times before. Attacks that came to Coruscant were almost completely useless now. If an enemy fleet somehow passed the Core planets which themselves were heavily defended, they still had a long way to Coruscant. Rumor has it that over 10% of the Entire Imperial Fleet was at Courscant. They were mostly used in guarding home planet but if some random event was going on, part of this extra 10 percent would go on to help deal with the situation.

A massive minefield lay beyond Courscant. They were cloaked and deactivated for the most part but were capable of re-activation should their a need for them come. As the astroids came closer, they were nw starting to enter the massive minefield which would be primed to detonate in just a few seconds..

The asteroid clusters began to gradually change their trajectory, hurtling off back away from the planet, having got close enough to acquire the information they were sent to retrieve. Now, with the locations of the core planets mapped out, the rest of their activities could be made more efficient. Long range scanners continued to record any and all activity around Courscant and the core planets, the clusters moving gradually toward the defensive outposts...

"Thats strange...it seems like they turned around" An officer reported. "Send a message to Ghost and give them order "019 Status Green" " The head Admiral reported. "Yes sir" an officer replied and proceeded to give the order out . The gigantic Imperial Fleet continued to cruise normally. With the astroids seemingly leaving the area...the minefield was starting to be deactivated. The Admiral narrowed his eyes as he eyed the situation and somethings felt a little bit to weird..

As the clusters continued to move away, parsecs away, the main invasionary force entered hyperspace almost in unison, having received the readings from the false asteroids. Among the force, the raw forms of the anti-sensory vessels kept their presence unknown to all those around them in the form of energy signature suppression. The vessels themselves had domed "heads", which were made up of the two top plates of their usual asteroid guise, while the lower plates were separated into two slivers, which were positioned as curved, tread-like "legs", exposing its main body, which was relatively thin compared to the armored plates, containing the majority of its sensory equipment.

Many other vehicles, unknown to the galaxy until now, accompanied them...they raced toward Courscant, hopefully undetected...

"Admiral, Long Range Scanners picked up the incoming objects sir. We think they are coming here...." The Admiral narrowed his eyes after being informed. "Notify the palace and have the Core worlds identify them at once..it seems we have something going on" The Admiral said. His orders would be put in action at once. The massive Flagship of the home defense fleet began to monitor the situation much more closely...

The fleet continued to move toward Courscant in hyperspace, their entrance into hyperspace obviously, though the sensory jamming made it impossible to directly identify them until they came out of hyperspace. They would use this to their advantage...the Empire wouldn't attack a potentially allied force...though this was only an assumption, considering their prior knowledge of the Imperials.

The Nostromo drifted towards Courscant, the crew was trying to figure out what to do next. " Well when we land on Courscant, we should stick together" Kane said to the rest of the crew. " We did give the imperials that disk maybe they might call us for help" Parker suggested. " Parker where truckers not soldiers" Dallas said rolling his eyes.

"Do we have any Imperial Fleets heading to Courscant?" The Admiral asked. "Uh..no sir. None have reported in. Perhaps its an outside force?" The young captain asked.
"Possibly but if it was Grievous...he would have said something or anybody else. Unless..."The Admiral thought for a moment before his eyes widened slightly. "Activate the minefield and prepare Tier 2 and 3. Inform the Grand Council at once and ready the fleet, we could be in trouble" The Admiral reported. "At once" The young captain reported as the Imperial moved swiftly to prepare Imperial defenses.

The mines were being reactivated as the gigantic Imperial Fleet prepared. The massive Executor Class Star Dreadnought was starting to move slightly out to lead the fleet. Imperial ships were all over the area having spread themselves staying away from the mine field but still in firing poistion should an enemy arrive...

" Well what do you suggest we do?" Parker asked Dallas. " Well maybe we could get a job as merchant shipers" Dallas suggested.

The asteroid clusters swerved back around unnaturally, breaking off from their groups, the sensory-equipped vessels now circling outside the minefields, while the armored space rocks hurtled through it, detonating many of the now-activated mines, their armored bodies holding against the explosions, attempting to clear a path toward the planet itself...

"Something ain't right...Guardian open up forward batteries" The Admiral commanded. The Guardan's point laser turrets proceeded to pound the incoming astroids, blasting them time and again till they exploded. Each shot was powerful enough to destroy a fully shielded fighter. The cannons continued to pound at them while several assualt concussion missile launchers were fired towards the objects which were heading through the minefields. The highly explosive mines were highly explosive deadly, meant for holding if not destroying capital ships outright. The missiles were just heading there to add to the devastation. The Guardian remained the only unit firing at the moment, its devasting firepower was much stronger then any other Imperial unit but the Admiral knew something was going on and was waiting to see what would occur in the next following events before he ordered a fleet wide tactic.

The asteroids, thicker then a typical star destroyer and almost totally comprised of armor plating, withstood a number of battery attacks before detonating, the explosives packed inside causing almost blinding explosions, destroying a plethora of mines in the process, quickly putting massive blind spots in the minefield. Although they stood little chance against the missiles, the asteroids were set off by the high explosives, clearing more of the mines in the process...

"Raise the Planetary Shield and make sure High Command is watching this. Something is going on" The Admiral commanded. The Guardian continued to fire its weaponry, decimating its targets one by one. Soon enough they would be destroyed but the Admiral knew there would be more...this wasnt just some random astroid attack. The Imperial Fleet began to move into poistion and formation. It would take time considering the vast home defense fleet but once assembled, the combined coordinated firepower would be another shining example of Imperial Starfleet power. But besides the fleet, there was more defense systems that were being prepared as well...

While the Nostromo was detected, it was kept an eye out. A quick transmission was sent towards the vessel.

"Turn around civilian this is starting to become a warzone and the planetary shield has just been raised. If you advance further you will be fired upon"

An enormous portion of the mines cleared, the asteroids served their purpose. Roaring out of hyperspace only a short distance from this space emerged the fleet, comprised of many different crafts, all clustered around two gargantuan, relatively flat arrow-shaped vessels, the face of which immediately began to glow brightly. The bow-like vessels were thinner then even the Tarantula Sentries that flanked them, though they were many times taller. Another previous unknown type of craft was also present, looking like a squarish U, with the open section connected by two spinning turbines, various circular openings spanning across either side of the craft, which was relatively small compared to its allies.

The Tarantula Sentries immediately powered forward, their enormous batteries alternating fire, unleashing a barrage of turbo-laser strength fire at the Imperial fleet, targeting the closest ships...

"I'm not surprised....Tier 1 has been cleared. Tier 2 and 3 and 4, attack! Show no mercy!" The Admiral ordered. He was lightly surprised but he knew things were odd from the moment those astroids turned away. But Courscant was something that was much different then all the other Imperial Planets....this was the Capital. And so the attack began, It was time the Imperials exactly showed why the Imperial Center was near untouchable. Within several seconds, a massive barrage of turbo laser fired was unleashed right on to the enemy fleet mixed with ion cannons. The Executor Class Star Dreadnought lead the way as the fleet composed of Imperial Class Star Destroyers mixed with Mammoth Class Star Dreadnoughts and Torpedo Sphere. The turbo lasers seemingly came from everywhere, pounding into the enemy fleet with devastating accuracy and coordination. Besides the vast fleet was also hundreds of Golan Phase 3 Battlestations which were massive battlestations that were much more powerful and larger then a single regular Imperial Class Star Destroyer itself. The deadly defense platforms unleashed their weaponry right into the enemy fleet, coordinating fire with the Imperial Fleet..

The coordinated firepower continued to rip into the enemy fleet as a Planetary Shield was put up around courscant to ensure any falling debris or attacks at the city wide planet itself would fail.

The nostromo dodged turbo laser fire. " They firing at us!!" Parker yelled in panic. " No there firing at those things" Kane said while looking out from the bridge pointing towards the Tarantula Sentries. Suddenly a explosion rocked the ship, computers screens in the bridge showed the damage. " Damnit they hit our engines, Parker, Brett go repair them Now!!!" Dallas yelled as he tried to avoid laser fire.

OOC: LV, I don't appreciate having my forces controlled by other people...for now, I'll assume it was just a stray shot, but please refrain from doing so again.

The shields of the slower-moving ships held fast against the admittedly impressive fire, while the Sentries, though large, were able to keep moving as they closed the gap between the two forces, able to out-maneuver the heavier firepower that seemed to dominate the Imperial fleet. One of the arrow-shaped vessels flashed brightly, three gargantuan waves of energy emitting from its face, in an outline of its arrow-like shape, which floated through the battlefield, bypassing the sentries before striking the nearest defense platform. The first wave dispersed on contact with the platform's shields, causing the shield to falter and die from the EMP burst. The second wave hit only seconds later, slamming into the middle of the platform, the wave of pure plasma slicing through the platform before dispersing once it almost reached to the other side, almost splitting it completely in half. The final wave followed it, colliding with the mangled platform deep within the wound its predecessor inflicted, causing a series of high-powered explosions, which set off the station's own weapon reactors, causing the entire gargantuan station to be blown apart.

The second arrow-shaped craft unleashed its own weapon, the same three almost soundwave-like waves floating through space, ignorant of any and all fire directed at it, before slamming into a star destroyer, easily taller then the craft, the EMP burst causing its shields to fall while the plasma once again inflicted a devastating wound, though was able to completely rip through the other side, the explosive wave passing through as it headed toward the Imperial fleet behind it.

Meanwhile, the U shaped vessels, Rays as they were called, suddenly flashed into life as well, their sides unloading a torrent of homing shells ahead of them rapidly, alternating from side to side within half a second, the storm of shells heading toward the Imperial fleet, while the craft themselves stayed behind the Tarantula Sentries, which were closest to the Imperials...

And again, like all battles past, the familiar random shell would collide violently with a defending ship, resulting in a massive explosion that completely took the shields off some of the smaller crafts, the Devastators firing from the last remaining armored asteroids, which were circling from an extreme distance away from the planet, moving unnaturally to enable the best distance for the Devastators to attack from...

" Parker, Brett how long till the engines are repaired?" Dallas asked through the com link. " About ten more minutes" Brett answered. Dallas looked at Ripley, Lambert and Kane, he then asked " What could we use to defend the ship?". " We could try jam their ships computers with the EMP defense system" Kane suggested.

The Imperial Fleet began to adjust accordingly as the Guardian led the way. The massive Executor Class fired off its Super Laster into the largest targets, heavily damaging them if not destroying them outright. The other Star Dreadnoughts, Mammoth class used the same tactic as the deadliest of Imperial Ships devastated the middle. The Imperial Ships at the flanks proceeded to hammer the enemy with missiles from Torpedo Spheres and Turbo Laser fire as the coordinated heavy firepower came from everything. Despite the loss of a defense platform, the massive defense units proceeded to pound everything that was in range with ion cannons and turbo lasers

By just then, parts of the Imperial Planetary shield over Courscant began to open. These tiny pockets were open for just a few seconds as surface turbo laser batteries slammed into the enemy fleet as well. The pockets were at random and coming from all parts of the planet, each volley doing its deadly damage. Besides turbo laser batteries, multiple Hypervelocity guns were fired into the mix. The deadly rail gun like weapon slammed into the enemy's wiping out shields before causing great damage to the actual thing due to the speeding explosive slugs that were launched.
