Sitiri roared as she tackled the tiger, determined to get after Jino. the Tiger however, wasn't going to let her go anywhere. taking the blow he swung both his clawed paws into her sides as he bit onto her neck, the lioness roaring in pain as they tumbled, the tiger pinning her under his weight. just as he rose a paw to rip her throat out, he was tackled by two lionesses, who proceeded to rip and slash at the tiger mercilessly, as Sari checked Sitiri, who had been knocked out when she was pinned, her head hitting a rock. the Tiger roared in pain, kicking one lioness off and slashing at the other, fighting free of his attackers and bolting, knowing he'd die if he stayed. "Where's Jino's scent?" growled Sari, the other two lionesses looking around, checking the air. "We've lost him...the scent of the blood and the tiger have overwhelmed his scent" responded Shareeka. Sari snarled in frustration. "Maiara won't like this" she growled as she struggled to get herself under Sitiri, trying to support her weight so she wouldn't slip, so she could take her back to the pride. the other two lionesses helped, and together, they sowly returned to the pride...
Nearly an hour later, they returned, Maiara rushing over at the sight of the unconscious Sitiri. "What happened?!" she snarled. "We don't know. but when we reached her Sitiri was fighting for her life against a tiger. she must have cut through its territory while chasing Jino. We lost his trail with the blood and the tiger's scent in the air" explained Sari, Maiara snarling furiously, her paw slamming into the ground, claws raking deep grooves in the sand, the frustrated lioness sighing, trying to calm herself. "We'll get him somehow...It doesn't matter. you did what you could" she growled. the lionesseslowered their heads respectfully to the matriarch before moving Sitiri over to a nearby watering hole, Maiara going with them to tend to her daughter's wounds. "Did you kill the tiger?" growled Nguvu as he walked over to the lionesses. Sari shook her head. "He got away before we could" she explained. "Then i'll hunt him down" he growled as he turned. "No" growled Maiara firmly. "You need to recover so you can take down Maovu. we'll get the tiger eventually". Nguvu nodded finally, respecting his mother's wishes...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
