Enchanted by the smell of Unicorns, Hydras ran, firsto n al fours, then on his hind legs. He roared as he past another Unicorn, the one he talked to. Then the main head thought "ENOUGH!" Hydras stopped as the other 8 heads looked at The main head. "Have we forgotten already? Unicorns are almost EXTINCT! We shouldn't hunt them to their deaths just because we'er hungry!" The heads lowered in shame except for the 9th. "I don't care, unicorns are the best things I've tasted, now im going to kill us a few and we will-" The 9th was intrupted by the main head. "If they're extinct, They'll be gone, as in no more to eat ever again..." "You got a point" The 9th said as he lowered his head in shame.

The black unicorn noticed Hydras, the creature he talked to earlier, run past him. He rolled his eyes at the behaviour of the multi-headed dragon, and continued on his quest to search for the other unicorns. Inferno's words replayed in his mind. They are in a clearing, south of Bloodrose Valley. At this thought, he galloped faster, pushing himself harder. He didn't care if his legs were slowly starting to ache. He was going to be with his kin!

Redeye flew through the baby blue sky. He let out a spine-chilling roar and headed off towards Bloodrose valley. His wing tips cut through the white, fluffy clouds. Redeye was getting alittle tired, He looked down towards the beatiful landscape. He found a nice place to lay. Near the ruins of a building, He landed there. He folded his large wings and settled in a nice little spot. He laid on the floor and slowly close his red eyes, He relaxed all of his muscles from his head to his tail. He stretched and fell asleep.

Garroth watched as Borgus weeped. Before Sarcus fell silent altogether, Borgus roared out in remorse. "Sarcus! I love you! I want to thank you!" He hissed out loud. Sarcus smiled, she winked like as in "thank you" as her breathing slowed and then silence. Others were getting back up as they had been injured, but there was some who were not as lucky. Garroth knew love was a sweet feeling, he did not care. Sarcus had been one of his best. His group of dragons were like his best friends. They hardly ever did things alone. They hung out together after training. He knew the real deal now, this is what might happen to him in a war. At least they had struck a serious, heavy blow to the enemy Valroz, nearly destroying all of his army. Sarcus could've regenerated but that attack had hit her in the heart, it had messed up her genetic structure, causing it to fail and shut down like her heart. She could regenerate but that would weaken her, making her deformed, and always weak for the rest of her life, it was like a fate worse than death itself. Sarcus at least would be somewhere happy now. Borgus weeped along with the others. Also the dark magic had prevented any form of ressurection back from the dead. Garroth sat in silence with the others to commemorate their dead comrade. If Valroz were to be captured, he'd suffer torture and a then death. And during his torture would be pain even demons would cry out at...

Stimeak padded his way out of the cave and then curled up on a ledge over it. He looked out into the moutains beyond, wondering who was out there. He thought about his old freinds, how their lives were progressing....
Bored, he curved a claw around the silver gem that hung lousely around his neck. It was one of the rarest things in the whole world. One of the Alariel Gems. When his father, Dramcus, died, nobody knew what had happened. But Stimeak felt drawn to a small mountain pass, when he arrived. he found his hated fathers corpse, and lying on top of it, was This gem. He picked it up and it seemed to talk to him. It told him to keep it safe, to weild its power. As it was his, and his alone. He hadn't been sure what it was, but that day he learnt of Drionachs decision to banish him. He would have to leave his familiy, his freinds, his title as a warrior and worst of all his lover. He had wandered for a time, before arriveing at the Frozen Spire and settleing. He speant his life their observing the entire world. Learning everything he could from everything. He would practice his magic. He would then use his vast knowledge to fight off other dragons who wandered into the mountains reaches. In that time he became one of the most powerful beings alive. Then Neltharion showed up. The young black dragon had huge potential. However, even know Stimeak had doubts on his heart. If he proved himself to be completely pure, he would teach him REAL magic, REAL power. Until then, he would stick to the basics.

Drionachs memories of that day continued.........
[Flashback]
They had flown all over the valley exploring and hunting. On their way back they found the other two dragons (who were completely lost) and they split up and headed home.
Drionach was angry. He had assumed Stimeak was going to get in the way, that he was going to have to drag him everywhere, have to come up with explainations why he was with him. But this was much worse. Stimeak revealed his ture self. A chrismatic young dragon just like himself. When they arrived home, His father was angry at them for being so late. He was raging. Drionach just decided to remain quite and follow his Fathers punishment. However Stimeak talked back. He was shocked. His father was looking after this young dragon, and it had the cheek to talk back. Stimeak had been licking his claw when he growled "You never told us WHEN we had to be back." Shocked Dramacus hissed "What did you say to me, Stimeak?" Stimeak looked up at him and roared "I will sumerize it for you. We came home at any time we wanted because YOU never told us WHEN exactly to be back. Happy?" Dramacus narrowed his eyes and hissed "Don't you ever talk back to me. Stimeak." Stimeak took a steb back and then laughed growling "Sure thing...... Father.." Drionach's eyes went wide. Had he just insulted him! But Dramacus's face wasnt a look of shock or pain. Infact, it was a look of sadness. Stimeak glared at him then he trotted around him deeper into the cave. Drionach was about to ask his father what had happened when Dramacus growled "Drionach, I was going to tell you. Stimeak isnt a full orphan, he is my son, and your.... half-brother. His mother died a long long time ago. Please dont tell your mother about this. Now I have to talk some respect into Stimeak..." Drinoach was shocked. He padded slowly over to his spot and laid down. He could hear his father talking to Stimeak in a hushed voice. By the sound of it, he was striking a deal with him. He shook the thoughts from his head and tried to fall asleep. Amazed at what he had just found out.

OoC: I must say these flashbacks are rather interesting. I might do that with Garroth but later on. And it would go back to his childhood. Still I like it Doc and the fact your character has one of the Alariel Gems. This could turn out ot be a huge battle if conflict were to ensure between Green and Silver Dragons.

Garroth landed outside on a pillar where a huge stone-like circle sat. Here Acacius was looking calmly into the horizon. It was the next day after the battle with the demons. Garroth waited until Acacius turned around. It was rude to talk to another with their back turned. It somehow disturbed others and disorientated them. After an hour, Acacius turned. "I congratulate you on your progress Garroth. You and your dragons have proven worthy. You will be assigned for now to stay here. After the demon attack by Valroz, I am currently withdrawing all dragons from any missions by our Leader's command." He hissed deeply. "Sarcus's death will not be in vain Acacius I swear!" Hissed Garroth sadly. Acacius nodded. "I know what happened, it was indeed an unfortunate loss for you and your team especially after your first mission. I know they chased you back here." He hissed in a deep voice. He always seemed to know these things before they could be told. "We eradicated over 3 quarters of the demon army. There was no way you could've held them back during the raid of the Orc Stronghold. Sarcus I can assure you rests peacefully knowing that you and the others will avenge her death." He continued. Garroth looked rather pale but did not show it. "Sir? You mean? We are going to kill Valroz?" He asked. Acacius walked back and forth. "Garroth, i not only congratulate you on your successful mission but also the fact you gave us plenty of warning before Valroz attacked. The pillars he wrecked were repaired quickly. Now, killing the demon would be a great idea. Only that you will die in the futile attempt." He said. Garroth knew then the right question to ask. "Well sir, what allies must we have?" Acacius smiled."You will have a new dragon on your team to replace Sarcus. You will go after the Green Alariel Gem. There is also alliances to be met with. For you see Garroth, our world is dieing, slowly. Chronos has been aware of this for a long time now. It's better if others are unaware than stir panic among the ranks. We need allies Garroth. I was a fool, ever trusting the demons. Still, the fact is we need to convince those that are not enemies with us to join us. We need the Sea Dragons as well as the Red Dragons. The Silver Dragons will never join us. They will be dealt with later on. The Purple Dragons and others will need convincing. Unless the gems are combined, this world will enter darkness for all eternity. Corruption, despair, death, decay and other terrible things would cause a wrath in the world like no other Garroth."

He continued, not stopping for breath. "I feel you are destined for this Garroth. This is not by some prophecy or vision but i feel i am right appointing you. You maybe young but you and the others might be our last generation of Green Dragons forever more. Garroth you cannot hope to fight Valroz head on. Not at this moment. However if we gain the Green Alariel Gem, we will achieve enough power that will ensure us victory over Valroz, he would not be able to kill us. There is not just Valroz but other demonic leaders and tyrants you must watch out for. I don't want to start another Dragon War, all of the Dragon nations have suffered enough in this world. We all want peace but to do that, we have to fight and kill. I want this to end. But we need the Legendary Stone of Power. It's magic is beyond any other. It will restore peace and banish the demons back to the Underworld they came from along with their magic they have used to corrupt this land for so long. All ready a darkness has spread far and wide across the lands. This must stop Garroth." He hissed before finally pausing for breath...

Stimeak still lay on his perch. He hadnt moved an inch. His eyes barely shifted. He was thinking about differnet uses for the healing spell he had used yesterday. Life magic. If only his mother had lived long enough to teach him more about it. Although, he was quite expeirianced with it and had found many uses. He could use it to cause death or life to anybody. A long time ago. 8 human rangers had trekked up the mountain. They had lived in the town below. Their king was with them. He was dying. He was inflicted with life threatening dieases and the chances were he was going to die. In return for their freindship and a bunch of other small favors, he agreed to heal the dying man. He didnt know anything about healing dieseases at the time. So he thought a way around it and used his healing magic to boost the mans immune system to increidible fitness. Within 30 minutes he was fully healed and his immune system was returning to its normal level. When they turned to leave two men asked for healing favors. One man, he wanted his broken arm mended because with out it he couldnt shoot an arrow, and was there fore useless and unable to feed his familiy. So after agreeing to small deal Stimeak mended the bone. The poor man had been expecting to feel wonderful after it. It seemed nobody realised having thier bones knit together would hurt in the slightets bit. They couldnt have been more wrong.
The other man wanted his whole body returned to full shape. The other men started to leave but he was persistent. Even After Stimeak told him no, he just argued about the other man being healed.
As punishment for his ungatefullness, Stimeak used his healing magic for a very different purpose. He activated and overcharged the mans dormant cancer cells. Killing him within the week. Remembering this he laughed slightly, but then remembered Neltharions magic, power over death. That could be used to heal...... He started thinking about this new concept, utterly intressted.

Orion stared at the Hydra in confusement as it flew past him. Why was he suddenly in a rush? Then suddenly, realization hit and his eyes widened. You're not going to hunt my brethren down, he thought as he forced himself to go faster.

Orion had to slow down. He was starting to tire out. But I can't let that creature hurt the other unicorns that live here. Suddenly, he squinted his eyes, noticing something in the distance. It was a smear of blacks, whites, chestnuts, and palominos. It couldn't be...could it? He then noticed the Hydra, who already stopped. He was also staring at them. It must be. He pushed himself again to a three beated canter, and finally reached the unicorn herd. There they all were, peacefully grazing and conversing with each other. My...unicorns! He let out an excited whinny, and rushed down to them, not caring if his legs were aching. He was finally with his own kind!

The 9th head drooled in hunger. He couldn't hink about what he wanted to do or the main head, followed by the others would surely attack him and take him away from the site of enchantment. He had to act swiftly and deadly. He hoped by the taste of unicorn blood dripping down his throught will entice the rest of the heads to attack. He burst out, jaws wide opened. He was about to clamp down on a unicorn when he was pulled back at the base of his neck. He looked back to see the main head biting him, rage in his eyes. He also saw the rest of the heads looking at him in rage. He curved his neck to the right to look directly at them and chuckled. He hissed "Whoopssss" Fear in the hiss, hoping they would let him go easy. He raised his head to join the others. The 8th head rammed him down and the main head wrapped Hydra's spiked tail around the 9th. Hydras walked closer to admire the unicorns, relaxed that the 9th had now been restrained. The 2nd head hissed to the 9th "And you wonder why we are called ssssnakey devilssss and untrustworth sssavagessss."

Orion whinnied again, louder this time to get the other unicorns to turn their heads to look at him. "My kin, don't you remember me?" There was joy in his voice as he gazed at each of the unicorns. He could only recognize a select few. His eyes widened when he noticed..."Serenity, is that you?" She was one of his closet friends. He trotted up to her and stared at her. "Oh my..Serenity, you look very different! I mean..." He was speechless. "It's me, Orion! Remember me?"

The unicorn mare studied the black unicorn. "Orion?" She gazed at his long gold and silver horn and looked into his dark red eyes. It couldn't possibly be him! He was captured by the humans! "Is it really you? But...you were captured by the humans all those years ago. How did you escape? I mean, they..."

"None of that's important now. Just be happy that I am back, dear friend." His heart swelled with joy as his eyes raked over his dear friend. She really did change. He momentarily touched noses with her before studying the rest of the herd. He frowned when he didn't see his mother or his father. Were they dead? "Are there any others that survived?"

She sighed. "There is your younger sister, Nova. I haven't seen your mother or your father though." She lowered her head. "I am sorry."

"Hey, at least you're alive...and at least my sister is alive," he said with a faint smile.

Hydras hissed wen he saw the black unicorn reunite with what seemed like a family member. "Isssssn't that ssssweet, he issss reunited after all. We might not be able to see something like this ever again." The 9th head hissed in complaint "Well I won't!" The main head hissed in rage "That would be a GOOD thing." Hydras left the area, knowing his pressence would upset the tranquility.

Inferno and Fieras soon landed on the Black Peak of the Emperor's Hide, the Red Emperor Mortus' home. Mortus leapt from a massive crack in the side of the mountain, Obsidian Peak, and beat his powerful wings, lifting him up towards the top, where Fieras and Inferno awaited...

Redeye awoke from his sleep. He got up from the ground and flew out of the ruins. When he got high enough he could see all over Bloodrose valley. He saw a Hydra "Whats a Hydra doing around here?" Should he interact with it? or just leave it?

Hydras walked into the forest and . He knocked over some trees but that was all the damage he made. He then heard something, along with a smell. "Golden dragon..." The main head growled as he looked up. He roared to the dragon. "If you want to talk, chose someone else to talk to!"

Enraged, Hydras ran to where the golden dragon was. Hydras roared as rammed down the dragon, venom pumping into the main head's fangs. Hydras stomped on the ground, shaking the floor beneath the dragon.

Orion didn't know what to do next. He was overjoyed that he was back with his own kind once again. He decided to walk away from Serenity and rest, but Serenity decided to follow him, prancing beside him like a parade horse. The unicorn snorted and tossed his head, ridding the forelock from his eyes before looking at the other unicorn. "What do you want?"

"Oh? I just want to come with you, Orion. After all, I'm sure we have much to talk about," replied Serenity with a faint smile, but only lowered her head when she noticed that he kept a stern expression on his face. "That is...if that's ok with you." She tried to widen her smile, but it didn't do any good. Orion still kept that plain expression on his face.

"No, not now. I just want to be alone." And with that, Orion walked off away from Serenity and the other unicorns to rest.
