Inferno lay in the Resting Chamber, Fieras at his side, the two resting closely, Inferno's right wing unfurled and wrapped around Fieras, holding her tight and chielding her, the powerfully protected scaled gold and blue wing both acting as a blanket of sorts as well as a shield. "How you feel?" he growled, nuzzling his mate, who grinned. "Very comfortable, thank you. much better now that you're here" she responded. "If only life was always as peaceful as it was right now, right here...no stress...no responsibilities, no worries about what military move we have to do next...just us two...peace and quiet and comfort...right here" growled Inferno with a sigh as his immensly long tail curled around them both. "After the war is over, it will be" purred Fieras, nuzzling her mate, liking him across the cheek before laying her head b ihs, the two closing their eyes and resting. Meanwhile, Septimus, who couldn't stand the romance, had gone out to find something more interesting to do, not knowing that Inferno had appointed one of the guardians to watch over him. as Septimus flew through the skies away from the Emperor's lair, a fairly large Red Dragon followed from above, keeping far enough behind to avoid detection, but still in range to protect him should something happen...
Slytherius, meanwhile, was zipping towards Emperor Drionach's home, to ask of the meeting's scheduled time...
"Your Majesty" hissed the voice of a Green Imperial as it bowed before a much larger Dragon, the antler-like horns of the Emperor branching out, splayed out like a magnificent crown. "What is it, Argoth?" growled the Emperor in his typical moody tone. "I've just recieved word from Empress Morian's messengers that Garroth had attempted to attack a moderately sized Demonic platoon alone and was slaughtered". "Has he now? how interesting" he growled in a somewhat bored tone. "I always knew he was a fool. It was a good thing we banished him when we did. who knows what other damage he would've done had he stayed. and what of his his parents?" he added. "His mother went insane and attempted to kill the messenger we sent to inform her upon hearing the news and had to be eliminated, unfortunately. as for his father...let's just say his failed attempts to rally supporters for a rebellion have attracted quite a bit of attention. many of the Dragonflight are calling for his blood, and he is awaiting your judgement in his regard" reported Argoth. "Don't kill him. at least not publicly. I know how much he was saddened by his son's exile. it's only natural that he'd want to strike out at the cause of it. but we shouldn't humiliate him further. his son's death will probably spread rather quickly now that the messenger was attacked, not to mention his fame for being foolish and overconfident. have Alairoth killed...but make sure it's out of the sight of the flight, and make it swift and painless" growled Rutus decisively. it was time this part of the Green Dragons' history was erased. it would only cause more problems in the future if it was left as is...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
