Insidion stared after the dragon, eyes still narrowed, not yet ready to drop his guard. It wouldn't be the first time an intruder tried this trick, what did he take him for? A hatchling? Insidion grunted, eyes never moving from the dragon...

Gamal growled cynically into Stimeaks mind "oh! apprently he ISN'T as stupid as he looks. So much for that..." Stimeak replied irritably "ugh... I think i'm just going to do this the normal way, even if its a bit late for that..." Stimeak paused up on the steps, he turned around, looking back at the black dragon, who, by the looks of it, wasn't ready to fall into any traps or tricks. Stimeaks sighed and then hopped back down the steps, landing onto the platform, his claws clicking off the ground. He growled reasonably "Ok Insidion, you know what I am here for, and what I want. I know that you know what I am here for and what I want. But you probably already knew that. So what I propose we do is-" Before continueing any further, he suddenly thrust up both his hands, his palms still glowing with white light. The light suddenly burst foreward, slamming into the black dragon, giveing each one of his limbs a seperate life, each one hell bent on escapeing their master. Knowing it was a matter of seconds before the dragon killed those lives and subsequently killed him, Stimeak leapt foreward, ice forming around his right clawed hand to form a long spear like shape over his claws...

Limbs stopping, Insidion thrust his hand forward, the dragon's arm going limp. Knowing the effect was only temporary, he swung around, massive tail slamming into the dragon as he neared, throwing him to the edge of the flat area. "Fool, what do you take me for? Underestimating me will be one fatal mistake..." Insidion snarled, readying another spell...

Stimeak's claws caught into the rock, dragging up splinters of stone... He stopped himself near the edge, still crouched low. He brought up one hand, its palm glowing with bright blue energy. He snarled "Practice what you preach, Guardian!" With that, the a lightning bolt burst out of his fist and struck one of Insidions horns, blowing the top of the horn off and sending deadly bolts through the dragons body, knocking his head to the side. Stimeak roared, leaping into the air, life returning to his dead arm, a star of mana building up in its palm...

Roaring angrily, Insidion exploded into the air, slamming into the dragon, claws reinforced with death magic slashing at his sides. The black dragon's spiked tail whipped around behind him threateningly, ready to strike any part of the crossbreed that neared it...

Stimeak roared angrily, attempting to keep Insidion below him, he grabbed onto the dragons wrists, useing his freezeing grip to try cut the flow of blood to the larger dragons arms. He went all out, attacking Insidion with everything he had, he bit down onto Insidions neck, just behind the dragons head while he ferociously kicked at his chest with his feet, his claws extended...

Roaring angrily once more, Insidion's maw opened, a jet black stream of flames scorching the side of the dragon's face, his hands heating up from the blast, combating the icy effect the dragon's grip had on him.

Stimeak roared in pain, closeing his eye to protect it from the deathly flames while consintrateing his healing energies to combat the flames effect... He suddenly let go of the dragons wrist, bringing around his fist and hammering his claws into the side of Insidions head, electricity flowing through his fingers and into the larger, older dragon.... He then kicked out with his legs again, this time grabbing onto Insidions flesh with his claws, attempting to tear it out....

Roaring, Insidion flailed his arms, scoring his claws down his side a few times. Suddenly, his clawed hands glowed black, slashing the dragon's chest with one claw, the creature's scales seeming to slowly disintegrate around the wound. Insidion flew back, shaking his head, knowing he wouldn't last much longer. But with his death, the next of the dragon's opponents would be even stronger...

Stimeak grunted in pain, clamping one of his hands to the bleeding decaying wound... His magic flowing into it as he tried to re-work the curse.... He had done alot of damage in that colision there. Insidion had made the mistake of thinking he could over power him up close... Stimeak begun circleing, not bothering to heal his other wounds, afraid of letting his guard down... He closed one fist and then opened it, a bolt of energy zipping out of his fist into his other hand. He batted it back and forth three times, each time it growing larger. With the last time he spun around and flung the bolt of electrical energy right at Insidion, already forming another as it flew...

Inferno lay in the Resting Chamber, Fieras at his side, the two resting closely, Inferno's right wing unfurled and wrapped around Fieras, holding her tight and chielding her, the powerfully protected scaled gold and blue wing both acting as a blanket of sorts as well as a shield. "How you feel?" he growled, nuzzling his mate, who grinned. "Very comfortable, thank you. much better now that you're here" she responded. "If only life was always as peaceful as it was right now, right here...no stress...no responsibilities, no worries about what military move we have to do next...just us two...peace and quiet and comfort...right here" growled Inferno with a sigh as his immensly long tail curled around them both. "After the war is over, it will be" purred Fieras, nuzzling her mate, liking him across the cheek before laying her head b ihs, the two closing their eyes and resting. Meanwhile, Septimus, who couldn't stand the romance, had gone out to find something more interesting to do, not knowing that Inferno had appointed one of the guardians to watch over him. as Septimus flew through the skies away from the Emperor's lair, a fairly large Red Dragon followed from above, keeping far enough behind to avoid detection, but still in range to protect him should something happen...

Slytherius, meanwhile, was zipping towards Emperor Drionach's home, to ask of the meeting's scheduled time...

"Your Majesty" hissed the voice of a Green Imperial as it bowed before a much larger Dragon, the antler-like horns of the Emperor branching out, splayed out like a magnificent crown. "What is it, Argoth?" growled the Emperor in his typical moody tone. "I've just recieved word from Empress Morian's messengers that Garroth had attempted to attack a moderately sized Demonic platoon alone and was slaughtered". "Has he now? how interesting" he growled in a somewhat bored tone. "I always knew he was a fool. It was a good thing we banished him when we did. who knows what other damage he would've done had he stayed. and what of his his parents?" he added. "His mother went insane and attempted to kill the messenger we sent to inform her upon hearing the news and had to be eliminated, unfortunately. as for his father...let's just say his failed attempts to rally supporters for a rebellion have attracted quite a bit of attention. many of the Dragonflight are calling for his blood, and he is awaiting your judgement in his regard" reported Argoth. "Don't kill him. at least not publicly. I know how much he was saddened by his son's exile. it's only natural that he'd want to strike out at the cause of it. but we shouldn't humiliate him further. his son's death will probably spread rather quickly now that the messenger was attacked, not to mention his fame for being foolish and overconfident. have Alairoth killed...but make sure it's out of the sight of the flight, and make it swift and painless" growled Rutus decisively. it was time this part of the Green Dragons' history was erased. it would only cause more problems in the future if it was left as is...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

Insidion's maw opened, another stream of jet black flames pouring out, attempting to block the lightening with his own spell. Unexpectedly, the lightening flew through the black flames easily, cracking against his chest. The black dragon's eyes widened as he fell toward the ground, but also knew peace would come for him...and death would come for the world if the dragon succeeded in killing the rest of the guardians...

Insidion crashed to the ground with a sickening crack. Stimeak gave off a satisfied grunt, dropping from the air and landing infront of the larger dragon, landing into a soft crouch. He snarled "I believe this belongs to me, Guardian..." He lunged foreward, hammering his claws into the dragons head and closeing them around the runes, attempting to pull the tablet holding them out...

The piece of the artifact came out easily, the black dragon's eyes shooting open. Moaning for a moment, black smoke rose from his body with each breath, before finally stopping, his eyes shut once more. The crystals making a barrier around the platform disappeared, once again allowing access out of the flat area...

Stimeak grunted in curosity, turning the artefact over in his claws, concludeing that it was only a fragment of the Rune of Kerafrym. He held open his left hand and placed the fragment in one corner of it, freezeing it into place... When he was done, he turned back towards the steps, trotting up them. Gamal swooped over, landing onto his head and growling "Wooee. That was intense.." Stimeak scoffed "Easy is what I would call it" Gamal chuckled and hissed "Oh? Well that explains the horrible gashes all over your side and your decaying face."

Stimeak cringed, only remembering his wounds now. He was useing magic to subdue the pain so he didn't notice. When he reached the top of the steps, he sat down, bringing one clawed hand to each of his wounds, streaming magic into them and sealing the gashes... At the same time, he was trying to rework the curse Insidion had infected him with. Gamal was yapping on about the fight...

After maybe 10 minutes, Stimeak was done tending to his injuries, he stood up, stretching, his joints cracking... He had messed up on his cheek, the scales colour was dulled and covered scab like scale shards... He picked himself up and started pading towards the 1st platform... He was feeling slow and tired... He snarled in anger, placeing a clawed his chest, a bright flash of white magic surged across his body, setting addreniline into action and his muscles into over drive... It was dangerous to use this spell too much, but it was needed for now. He leapt off the platform, glideing down over the steps towards the lower one, building up speed before clattering to a halt onto the rock....

Achperouth turned to face the massive Demon, hissing, "That we are. Who are you?" Obviously it was who he needed to speak too, but about what?

As soon as the dragon landed, ice as tall as the ceiling shot up around the flat area, impervious to magic, blocking him inside. In an explosion of water from the center, the painting on the ground disappeared, slowly the gushing water went down, revealing a brilliant ocean blue dragon, an enormous fleshy fin on the back of his head as well as a giant paddle-shaped appendage on the end of his tail. "So, I see Insidion has grown weak with age, dying from a whelp like you." the dragon growled, his tone mocking. "The name is Andorgos, remember it, for it will be the last thing you ever hear!" Andorgos growled, a roaring laughter following. Without warning or explanation, part of the massive torrent of water he was standing on exploded toward the dragon, immediately turning to ice shards as it neared him...

Caught off guard, Stimeak stumbled back, desperately clapping up a weather pattern within his hands in an attempt to turn the ice back to water, however it had been a stupid move, not helped by the complete lack of natural weather within the cavern. The shards pinned into him like needles. He let out a loud growl of pain, sweeping one clawed hand down his side and brushing off the shards. Still trying to bring up a desperate defence against an enemy with a height advantage. He leapt into the ice wall, pushing off it into the air and spining his hands, forming an atom like shielf of lightning bolts, it wouldn't deflect an attack, but it would earth to the first thing that touched it, either destroying the projectile or arcing into his attacker....

Andorgos shook his head. "Not so fast!" he growled, two massive arms of water appearing on the dragon's sides, slamming into him as they held him in place. Andorgos made another roaring laugh, a tentacle of water snaking out as it stuck itself into the lightening shield, the bolts surging up into the water, electrifying the dragon, Andorgos blasting the water arms away before it reached the main pillar of water. "You will find that I am not as easy to fight as poor old Insidion. I may be just as old, hell, even older! But that doesn't mean a whelp like you has any advantage!" he roared, another blast of water arching toward the fallen dragon...

Stimeak roared in pain, desperately trying to bring the lightning flowing through him under control as it tore through his body... He spun himself over as he fell. He desperately needed to get off the back foot... he flung the channeled lightning out of his fist into the blast of water comeing towards him, the bolt tearing through it and out the other side, slamming into the pillar containing Andorgos. There was no doubt the dragon would find some way to counter if but if he was countering a spell he wasn't attacking Stimeak... He landed back onto the floor with a loud clattering of claws bursting into a run around the platform... This fight was going to be very difficult...
